It's a small shop but it didn't feel crowded while I waited for my order. I got the dragonfly smoothie which is a tropical drink. My kids got the love bird (strawberry banana) and my husband got a peach smoothie. If you like your smoothies well balanced, not too thick yet not too liquidy, this is the place for you! We've loved coming here…read moresince we moved to Pleasanton 4 years ago but have noticed more frequently they'll just be out of smoothie ingredients here and there and sometimes just ALL ingredients altogether. This has happened 3-4 time in the last 6 months. Random zero operation days that they'll just be closed during advertised hours of operation. Staff used to be much friendlier; most recently we get the inattentive worker with AirPods in that barely acknowledge us. Our latest visit we came around lunchtime with plans to enjoy a refreshing smoothie at Delucci Park. The smoothie was very watered down and almost tasteless... I walked back from the park to see if they would remake it and the door was locked with nobody inside. Something has definitely changed about this place in the last year or so, and unfortunately, not for the better.

Surf City Squeeze in San Francisco back in the early year 2000s will always be my ultimate favorite. Good branding and great tasting fruit smoothies. Decent for hydration stop. The taste was just right. Cold and creamy, the strawberry flavor strong, and just a hint of chocolate. It's not as awesome as the Concord location, but I have no complaints.

While I was waiting, the employees were busy chatting about Instagram and their friends -- which I get, they seemed pretty young -- but it didn't feel very attentive. When I finally received my bowl, I sat down, opened the plastic lid, and immediately saw a black, three-inch hair stretched across the top, right through the almond butter. Ugh. Needless to say, I instantly lost my appetite and asked for a refund. It's unfortunate because the shake was actually delicious, and we probably would have come back. But after that experience, it was hard to overlook.

The employee tried to tell me that they called my name which was 100% not the case because I was standing there at the counter and the entire time waiting for my drinks. These type of operational mishaps really affect the way your customers feel. This was the first time back to Jamba Juice since 2024 and with this experience, I have no plans to ever go back. Not only was the employee not apologetic that I was waiting for no reason they try to make up an excuse that they already called my name, which was absolutely not true. On top of this, your company now charges a 3% fee to use your app. As a large corporation, you should be ashamed of yourself to nickel and dime your customers. If this was a small pop store, I would completely understand but a large corporation like Jamba Juice charging a fee to order online using your app. Terrible customer service.
