We have been to several Sauce on the Side locations. We went to the Chesterfield location and it did not disappoint. We ordered Meet Me in Louie (instead of meat sauce, we subbed for garlic butter) and Cock-A-Doodle Noodle. Both calzones were to die for. Their crust is always flaky and soft. Cock-A-Doodle Noodle has Mac n' cheese, roasted chicken, bacon, and lots of cheese. So delicious.

We ordered two calzones for take out. The ordering on-line is very straight-forward and allows for a lot of customizations. Additionally, the food was hot and ready when promised and we were attended to immediately upon entering the restaurant. The two calzones that we ordered were the Roasty Toasty and the monthly special, Don Corlezone (Gioia's Hot Salami, Capicola, Pepperoni, Rosemary Veggies, Fresh Basil, Provolone and Mozzarella) I want to preface my next remarks that we are from the Northeast and I had worked in Manhattan for years. The calzone is good and the foodie experiments are fun. However, the dough is adequate though very different than a traditional, and delicious, pizza dough used in a traditional calzone and stromboli. The pesto dipping sauce was good, not great. The spicy red sauce was very good.

Yummy. Plain and simple. Clean store, friendly, personable staff. And freaking delish. Should I find myself in that area again, I WILL return.

Delicious and quick calzones! If you are craving more carbs it is a great go too. In a good location as well. Will try again soon!

The food here is always on point! Friendly staff, great food, and quick service! Can't be beat for lunch or dinner! I recommend the Duke - the BBQ ranch makes it!

The choices are always hard to make with so many delicious combinations. This has to be one of the cleanest restaurants around. Each time we go, staff is working on keeping it clean from the prep area to the light fixtures to the glass on the front door. That instills confidence in the detail that goes into making our meals and keeping things up to and beyond par. Look for the monthly specials for a new creation.

We were on our way out of town, but wanted to grab a bite for lunch. I was excited when I remembered this location opened up so we stopped by. We ordered the roasty toasty and cockadoodle noodle. We waited for quite a bit of time for the calzones. When it finally arrived, my calzone was cold. my friend's calzone was slightly warmer. As I was eating, I noticed that I bit something hard and pulled out a chicken bone which was also not pleasant. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience and I overheard staff say it had been a mess of a day. I am not sure if it was a fluke. I would be willing to give it another shot since I have had good experiences at other locations.

Good place for lunch. Lots of menu choices for calzones and a nice selection of beverages and bottled beers too. Would like to see some craft beers so I could have a longer lunch hour. Nice servers here too. They are friendly and helpful in menu selections.

Service was friendly and prompt, just belly up to the bar or order at counter and sit at a table. Overall, 4+ rated experience, but only for drafts and takeout beer, no food. Reasonably priced pints, and they accept Craft-tapped app. Today we enjoyed their signature hazy IPA, Constant Clockwork (44 IBU, 6.6 ABV), really good local brew! And since we were headed to KY, we got takeout (25oz) on their version of "Show Me Kentucky" (20 IBU, 5.8 ABV) common beer. Both were excellent and EZ to drink!! And our bartender was very conversational, fun and insightful. We did not order food today, but think they serve a few snacks or pizza. We'll come back again to try next time. Also, you can join their "club" as well as order your "custom, hand-made wooden stein" to keep on their shelf - not cheap tho. If you're looking for a good local brew spot, this one is definitely worth a visit! ENJOY!!

I'm not sure what this place even is, despite having dined there yesterday. It serves breakfast,…read morelunch and dinner, and doesn't seem to specialize in anything in particular. It's in a weirdly large building that looks like a place where you'd go to get lasik surgery. I visited after a run on a day where the heat index was like 109, so I didn't spend that much time inside, just enough to drip sweat all over the front counter and the floor in the vestibule. We sat outside in an area that seems like the place where you'd pull up and unload your luggage at a hotel. A member of our group says she once attended some sort of Xmas pop-up in the basement here where you were charged a cover and then expected to pay for drinks and pizza, so... uh, caveat emptor. We ordered at the little bar up front, but I'm not sure if that's also the case if you dine inside. These places always flip out when there's umpteen different people ordering separately, because they only have but so many of those numbers you set on the table so they know where to bring your food. It ended up not being an issue with us, because who else was going to engage in al fresco dining during a heat advisory? This place serves pizza, but it didn't look that good in the few photos I saw. Granted, food often looks like crap in Yelp photos. Also, there's an emphasis on '90s-style health food, organic ingredients and what have you. There's a Salmon BLT that's featured prominently that seemed like it might be the thing to get, but I didn't know enough about this place to be ordering fish, and I'd already been meaning to eat a bacon cheeseburger for the past several days. Maybe next time. There is no bacon cheeseburger as a separate menu item unto itself. I figured I might just order a cheeseburger and add bacon, but I'm not sure if that's an option, and this wasn't a regular cheeseburger. It had a few different weird cheeses on it, spinach and maybe some other things. Then I saw the Dill-bert, which seemed like it might be really good. It has, among other things, dill Havarti cheese (whatever that is), avocado, and of course, bacon. It's served on a wheat bun, which, whatever. Its name is not a tribute to Scott Adams, as far as I know, but this is Ballwin. The Dill-bert did not disappoint. No Diddy. The beef comes from one of those special farms where the cows are all given names as if they were human beings, groomed on a daily basis by trafficking victims and read bedtime stories, and you really can taste the difference. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit? It did kinda hit the spot, and I probably got drunker than I would have otherwise, because I was suffering from a minor heatstroke, so there was that.

Three of us enjoyed our beer flights - four glasses apiece; my wonderful wife enjoyed a gin and tonic that is made from the bee pea, so it turns a light purple color when mixed with the tonic - nice! We also enjoyed the incredibly good nachos, Midwest nachos, which were excellent...the chips, meat, sauces all paired so expertly by Steve, the owner... we enjoyed two plates, one with brisket and one with chicken on top. These are possibly the best nachos we've had... much meat and beans and sauce and more on top; solid chips... superb!! Sauce-wise, we enjoyed a Carolina BBQ and a pineapple chipotle sauce... Carolina was quite good; pineapple chipotle was amazing! There were many patrons here tonight, and Steve still made time to welcome and serve us, and to help recommend some beers for me to try - most appreciated. We look forward to seeing you again, soon, Steve!
