The front staff was polite, but that's the only good thing from our experience. We ordered a half cheese and pepperoni. After taking home out order our family was extremely disappointed. The cheese was burnt and hard like concrete. My son ripped the entire cheese off the pizza and he could have used it as a weapon. My son said, "this is garbage. We should have just gotten Dominos. Had an online order of pizza (Kitchen Sink) that was very good, along with an order of full size lasagna that was basically a cup of cold tomato sauce, a little bit of pasta, and very little meat. Hi every one, I really don't post reviews unless it's warranted, I'm not a gluten-free kind of person, especially when it comes to Italian food. But I have order from saucy's twice now thinking my first experience was a fluke but unfortunately I was disappointed once again. I had ordered the first time a pizza I could not put my finger on it but it possibly was gluten free as I said not a big fan of gluten-free. Anyway around two, I ordered a chicken parm being that I did not agree with your pizza last time. So I gave it a chance again and once again I was disappointed even with their chicken parm the pasta was gluten-free over cooked where the pasta literally was falling apart could not tell if it was pasta or mush please see photo for the pasta. Now as for the chicken patty I have had something similar to this I have to say granite positive they do give you lots of food but it's not worth it if you can't eat it, back to the chicken Patty as I said the Patty I had what's similar to a Sam's Wholesale chicken patty a little bit more meat but the breading was identical really thin powdery nothing really crunchy about it if you had handmade the breading did you have a little bit more bite and crunch. I have made chicken parm before several times and I believe for chicken parm should have little crunch not soggy and no density to the crust chicken was dry I was given two patties where that's how I can tell it was frozen patty a whole chicken parm should be at least 6 inches long by 4 inches wide not 3 in by 3 in 1 inch thick. Homemade chicken preferably would taste better if you guys made the Patty yourself. Maybe it's gluten-free breading that you use but not preferred by someone that does not care for gluten-free products. If you are a gluten-free watcher this food may be geared towards you but unfortunately I do not care for gluten-free products. Not your conventional Italian food. Even if you're serving gluten-free food it should not look like the photo below when received. Noodles should be whole not chopped up like you overcook them and is falling apart some advice keep it out of the water because it will soften the noodles and for the chicken, bread your own chicken little thicker if that is your actual Patty give it some crunch or some thickness to the breading makes a world of difference I can only imagine what Chef Ramsay would have said if he had eaten at your place take that's consideration I hope you guys Advance your food a little bit better than what you're serving and for your tomato sauce the jury's still out on that! I hope you take it to heart and improve your food bring a little quality and pride to what you serve! I see you got plenty of reviews I'm glad people like your food it is something to eat but I think there's plenty room for improvement! I'll give you one more try and then I will give it up if it doesn't improve I wish you guys the best and wish you luck on your future. I also would like to add a little something I am from the East Coast I'm from New Jersey I have tasted a New York style pizza, Anthony's Pizza, Abu Pizza and Johnny's Pizza are the closest to New York style pizza in the Denver area that's for traditional if you guys are specialising in gluten free Food, you need to let your customers know it is exactly what it is gluten free and nothing else, and not your traditional Italian food, put it on your billboard with your name maybe you'll get less bad reviews. read more

My kids enjoyed their cheese pizza, it was a good taste my kids said, and gave it 3.5 stars, they said the cheese was too chewy and the pizza itself needed more sauce. It needs more sauce, Sauceys! The cheesey bread was delicious, no complaints there. The cinnamon sugar bread for dessert was really bland and we had to add a lot of salt and LOTS more frosting to make them edible. My 4 year old even said "I don't want any more, and if you know 4 year olds, they eat sugary stuff. So that says something. They were cooked well, but looked burnt due to the heavy dose of cinnamon vs. any other flavors. We might come back since it's so close to us, but will need more sauce and more flavor overall. Love this place! During quarantine we wanted to support local and Saucy's did not disappoint! The first time we order we were quoted for 1.5 hours which was fine but they delivered in 45 min and we just ordered again tonight and they were right on time! With the no contact delivery, each person has waited at their car with mask on, to make sure we receive our food which I think shows customer service to the extreme especially during these times. Nice place, the owners changed the name of the place, but that's it, it's still the same restaurant. The food is nice and simple and doesn't get all crazy and stuff. A family owned Italian joint. Where the staff doesn't have to wear stupid uniforms as if you were at some corporate chain. Black jeans and a nice shirt. When you walk in the place you can peek into the kitchen and see a big Hobart mixer, and they use it extensively for making dough. This is a good sign for sure. My husband and I tried Saucy's a few weeks ago and it was delicious, I couldn't wait to go back. We went there tonight and were highly disappointed. My husband ordered the spaghetti pie. It came out cold. When asked to reheat, it came out so hot the waitress ran out of the kitchen to put it on our table so it didn't burn her hands through the holders. I guess better than cold! After dinner she placed the ticket on our table without asking if we would like anything else, like maybe dessert. I asked for tiramisu. Mistake made - the tiramisu was literally a frozen brick. I can't speak for the dishes other than pizza, but their pizza is the best. My family had Saucy's as the go-to pizza for many years. I recently moved back into the area that Saucy's covers, and what a treat it is to order pizza from them! Specifically, the toppings are all extra large sized. The Italian sausage is 2-3 times bigger than other pizza. The veggies are the same; not only are the veggies quite a bit larger than usual, but they are fresh and crisp. No soggy veggies! I've been going to Tamale Kitchen for years now, so had to check out the pizza place next door. Defiantly met my expectations, for a small mom and pop kinda place. I dined in the first time I checked it out, very clean, nice and simple atmosphere, with a friendly staff. I an awesome cobb salad (a lil' big for a "small" if you ask me but at least they aren't stingy) and the pizza. BBQ chicken, I could tell the ingredients were fresh and it had plenty of sauce which was good but the crust could have been cooked a lil' longer. I used to go to Virgilio's all the time, but when they moved south, I wanted to find somewhere closer to home. It's by far my fav pizza in Denver now. Best crust/sauce combination and all the ingredients are delicious. Not sure why so many others are being so hard on them, as the customer service has always been great. If you take into account that it's not a Maggiano's and realize that the kids working there are mostly new to waiting. For a neighborhood pizzeria/small biz, you can't get much better than this around town. I'll keep going there and you should definitely give it a shot... Oh, and they don't mind when my kids run around a little bit after dinner(but we only do it if it's later and the place has cleared out)...very kid friendly, not just kid 'tolerant'. I used to order from this place when it was called something else, but it seems like the quality has gone steadily down. I waited about a year since my last order from here and thought maybe I was remembering it wrong, and it was actually good. Thicker, chewy crust with no crispness at all....we actually debated if it was even cooked. The toppings were fine, seemed fresh although the peppers were not quite done.
