    1/2 lb smashburger

Went to the new Saugatuck Brewing Co. for a late lunch. Had one of their brewed beers, my husband had the root beer. Both were very good, and we enjoyed the smashburger too!

Last time I was home this was under a different name but when speaking with the beertender, they recently took over the location and actually still had some of the beers from the previous brewery. They have two locations (or they did when we were there), the Kalamazoo location and then of course, Saugatuck. The beertender was friendly and offered to let us try any beer we wanted but of course, Ben went with the flight. Rose Cider, Session Cider, Blueberry Lemonade Shandy, Porch Appeal, Academy Slim and Neapolitan Milk Stout. Now to get to the Saugatuck location!

We have been to the Saugatuck location a few years ago and we were excited to give this spot a try. We came specifically for their tag, as they are closing shop and moving to a different location. They were also in our hop passport so I decided to get a seltzer and he ordered a brown. They have a great food menu, too. One of my favorite beers from Saugatuck is the Blueberry Lemon Shandy. It's a great summer drink. We are excited to eventually try the new spot located in town.

Nice place, there's parking on the side and in front, they have very nice sandwiches and delicious appetizers, and unlike other breweries they have some selections of mixed drinks with their whiskey as well as sodas including root beers. Their French fries were freshly made and simply delicious, two of us ordered the chicken shawarma and it was really good, we will go back. We were surprised that it was so empty on a Friday night, I hope they don't go out of business. Our service was amazing . We will be back for more good food.

Garlic Dill Pickle Pizza. Not recommend if you are a true pickle lover

The hostess was very kind and accommodated my large group prickly. The outdoor seating looked fun and perfect for a nice cold beer. The establishment is clean. The waitstaff are nice and really help you find a beer that is delicious, and you can sample as much as possible. TC Cherry Goat Cheese Bread- a five star item! I almost ordered a second helping because it was mouth watering my food. The cherries are a good tart constant with the sweet of the maple bacon glaze. Bacon & Brussels- a simple yet delicious appetizer Chicken Boneless Wings- come with hearty chunks of carrots and seem to give bigger portions than expected! Sirloin Steak Bites- the gravy is not too salty and is an interesting way to enjoy steak, the table really liked them. The mushroom sauce is not overpowering. Smoked Chicken Stack- moist chicken, seasoned to perfection with the right amount of kick from the Beer-B-Que. Haystack Burger- NOT A JOKE IT IS SPICY! The person eating it was sweating bullets and we had to get him a glass of milk. Jk in all seriousness I tasted it and it is a full younger experience of spicy, I enjoyed it. It is rather greasy so get a lot of napkins! Steak & Artichoke Salad- hearty pieces of steak Margherita Pizza- a fan favorite among the regulars! Garlic Dill Pickle- a complete letdown. As a raving pickle lover I had high expectations, but the lack of flavor and texture had me only eat one slice before attempting to share it with the table. Great idea! It just needs some flavor. Lager Of Love Beer- was a great pairing with pizza Lucky Stone Mango Cider- was selected and admired by a lot of drinkers at the table. Delicious

    Clean and ample, nicely distanced.

Simply best fish & chips deal in town! Food features are great but have not find other F&C that beats theirs. Of course, their staple brews are on tap or to take out. Their location is ample, clean, great outdoor sitting and have never struggled to find parking. Extra perks - walking distance to the Art Museum, theater & city venues + Bronson Park.

Stopped here for brunch and we were really glad we did. The beers are all very good and the pizzas are excellent! We enjoyed the breakfast poutine and the breakfast pizza with the Maggie's Irish Ale. The service was friendly, informative and efficient.

Enjoyed a lovely relaxing early dinner tonight on the heated patio. Poutine called my name... hubby got a burger with mushrooms and haystack onions. The burger was cooked to order, mid-rare, and was served with seasoned potato chips. The poutine was a generous serving of crispy fries with white cheese curds, house smoked pulled pork, and pork dripping gravy. A bit salty for my personal taste (have been low-salt for a few years) but I ate the whole thing. Sampled three different beers and they all had great character. Will definitely go back.

Tried this brewery for the first time Friday night. It was all around a great place. Had the blood orange blonde and it was amazing, hog wings for an appetizer did not disappoint, and the cauliflower tacos for my main were beyond delicious Would definitely go back

It's our first time here since the new pub launched. The food was very good and the beer flight was nice too. Service was painfully slow, but it looks like only one server for the whole restaurant. Outdoor seating is available but has metal chairs and no shade (ouch) I think they need to rethink that before folks will sit outside. We will come back again and hope they have more staff next time.

    Delicrunchy boneless wings
    Steve A.

Crunchlilicious or decrunchy? A new word is needed for the boneless chicken wings. Outstanding works until the new word enters spell check. SB also makes its own BBQ sauce and they should sell it in steel barrels. The beer is great but then you knew that.

My husband had their Michigan Honey Amber. We had their signature appetizers, Bavarian pretzels and Beer cheese. The pretzels were bite-sized and paired with a significantly larger portion of beer cheese. The beer cheese is house-made dip and is creamy and infused with one of their craft brews. My husband had the blackened shrimp tacos. The tacos are packed with well-seasoned blackened shrimp and a refreshing slaw. The tacos were served on a blend of corn and flour tortillas, which were sturdy enough to hold up perfectly against the generous, packed fillings. Latitude 42 also operates its own micro-distillery, producing a signature Bourbon Whiskey, Gins and Rums, which are sold on site. The menu is extensive and offers a variety of handhelds, pizza and seafood options. There were many families while we were there. Overall, food and drinks were very good.

The…read morespace has a great vibe--they have an awesome outdoor beer garden, though we opted to grab a table inside this time. They also have a little shop on-site, which is a fun feature to check out! Their menu has items clearly marked "GF," and they offer both GF buns and pizza crusts, along with a huge selection of cocktails. When I asked about the seasonal sangria, our server was incredibly knowledgeable. She explained that they make their vodka in-house and while it's gluten-free, it's not certified gluten-free, but their gin is certified. I really appreciated that level of transparency! Our server even asked if I had celiac disease, which immediately put me at ease. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which they brought out with gluten-free chips, explicitly announcing it as "gluten-free" when they set it down. For my main, I ordered the garlic cheese pizza. The crust was really good--perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was attentive, safe, and welcoming from start to finish. If you are celiac or gluten-sensitive, this spot takes cross-contamination seriously. I will definitely be back!

Although it was busy, we were seated immediately. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, which helped the wait. The menu is fairly short, but that wasn't an issue since there were still plenty of appealing options. I started with the Dragon's Milk Toasted Marshmallow drink. Based on the name, I expected something sweet, but it was much more bitter than anticipated. We also ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pinwheels, and they were incredible. Crispy, flavorful, and easily one of the best appetizers I've had at a restaurant. I highly recommend giving them a try. For my meal, I got the Dixie Luau, their take on a Hawaiian pizza. It was excellent. The crust was the perfect thickness, and the toppings were generous. What really stood out was the pineapple, it tasted fresh and high quality compared to the canned pineapple that many places use. If the weather is nice, definitely ask to sit on the front patio. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the food, and do a little people-watching. The atmosphere was great, and I'd absolutely come back the next time I'm in the area.
