Ryan says "Good to go" Oil stain still on mat

Beware. Bring money and low expectations that the interior of your vehicle will be respected. I gave these dudes another shot. Never ever again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The 'manager' Ryan has low integrity. Beware of this person.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I questioned his approach he reminded me that we were camera and listening devices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 'Used Car salesman' comes to mind. He says "Well, we can bring it back inside if you're not happy". I said "What are you talking about. You just had it inside, you're the manager. Did you look?" Bad face for your business Mr. Sal - loser.com The person's who worked on the unit did not have the decency to place a protective plastic or even paper as is typical. The carpet was and is oil stained on the carpet floorboard, from getting in and out during repair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chris said "Oh don't worry, We will detail it. No call back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I called. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This Ryan Dude was all confused and asked for an explanation - this guy has zero handle on the business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I showed up again this morning at 7:00 am. At 7:28 am I was told by Ryan good to go. If you have low expectations and a pocket full of money Your vehicle will get fixed. Don't expect much more than that. You would think the pictures here are the after pics. Nope. This what Mr. Ryan considered as completed.

He wanted to intimidate me because I caught them. Didn't work though. We all got one..

GOOOOO SOMEWHERE ELSE.. KEEP LOOKING they plY like the care. Then try to finesse you into giving them more money because they fail to give you the full truth. Let's start with. BRENTON HE HAD A GUN ON HIS HIP and kept putting his hand on it. Trying to intimidate me..Wost costume service EVER!!!. and got physical. I have a video OF HIM (BRENTON). I will up load to web if the owern doesn't get in contact with me soon..i just wanted to explain...my name is in the system (Andre harris)..If anyone wants to see this video i will send you a link of BRENTON getting physical..THIS COMPANY WILL PUT YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE . I delivered my vehicle, to another auto body shop, they declined service due to insufficient personnel and equipment, citing a failed block test. They could not perform the services. I call them and ask if they did engine work , they said yes. I dropped my vehicle off at Saul's auto tech. They gave me a call later that day. Asking, what was the matter with it? I told them that it had failed a block test at a previous auto shop. They called me back a day later, saying that they're going to run a block test with blue liquid, quote, "if they see a blue liquid anywhere it has a leak somewhere in the engine. If not, your engine is good," they then quoted me four thousand dollars for other work that needed to be done. After they ran the test, they told me they did not see any blue leaks, but for other works, it would be four thousand dollars. I gave them the okay to go ahead and fix the other things that need it to be fixed? They told me my Jeep will be running just fine. Under the assumptions of what they told me, I said, okay..After a week they called me, I went and picked up my vehicle a day later my vehicle loses power on the highway with my family in it.. I call them back and told them that my vehicle lost power. The engine light is back on as well as the oil light. And thermometer and traction light They told me to bring it back up there. The following day, so I did They call me back a day later, saying that I have engine failure. Meaning the test they ran was insufficient in that same day, they told me I needed a new engine and it was going to be twelve thousand dollars to fix it. They told me, what they did was just a band aid. Lol If they had told me that I needed a new engine and it was going to be $12000 to fix, I would have never agreed to paying that $4000 in the first place. A smart person would just go and trade it in and get a new vehicle, or put it towards the new engine. with a four thousand dollar down payment.. I believe they swindle me, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked to talk to the owner. They would not let me get in contact with the owner, every time I call, they say they can only take a message. It has been 3 weeks, snd still, no call from the owner. I have called multiple times to speak with the owner. And no call back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything they fix still doesn't work.I won't refund me my money. I recommend not going to these people at all. I will continue to call until the owner speaks with me. I've then called aging. And she told me to drop off my vehicle agin for the 3 time. And that's when things got physical with BRENTON and altercation had started and the manager started branching his fire arm to intimidate me. I have everything on video from when I went back up there. They told me they are denying me service. I then call the cops so i can file paperwork and I will pursue legal actions.

Communicate expectations clearly if you want customers to understand what's required of them.

They allowed us time to decide if it was worth fixing and were creative about getting the costs to something more affordable but ultimately I agreed to have all but one item fixed. Their willingness to work with me on it really sealed the deal. I never felt pressured one way or the other and researched the prices of each repair item and they were market value. I really appreciated that I wasn't given grief for wanting to fix this old beauty instead of calling it quits and also appreciated their confidence in doing this amount of work to make it like new. Most importantly, the repairs were done right without gimmick and they're under warranty! This Christian Brothers Automotive is thorough and the final cost was reasonable compared to the quote (slight increase from what looks like parts being a tad more than anticipated). The initial inspection was awesome too, they have pictures for everything and tell you what's good, not just bad. The whole process was really smooth and simple compared to how big of a decision the repairs really were. Very professional and quick. I'm very thankful and will come back/recommend to others.

Their diagnosis was that the front differential needed to be replaced at a cost of $3300.00. I wanted to get a second opinion so I contacted Greg's Auto in Parker, transmission work is one of the few items they do not work on but they referred me to Kimmer Transmission. I took my truck in to Kimmer for a diagnosis. I was informed when I scheduled the appointment that I would need to leave my vehicle for a couple of days due to their volume of work already scheduled. When I arrived and walked through the shop to the office I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the shop, the organization of the mechanics work areas and the amount of vehicles they had in line. This immediately showed me the attention to detail the owner requires, which typically translates to the work ethic of the mechanics as well. I was informed that the issue with my truck was not the differential but the transfer case, and that the front differential was in good working order. I authorized the work for my vehicle with Kimmer. It did take a few days to complete but that was due to a delay in the parts needed for my repair work. If not for that delay I would have gotten my vehicle back in a couple of days. The final cost for the parts and labor was $2300.00. I am guessing if I would have gone with the original shop they would have charged me for the differential and the transfer case. I HIGHLY recommend Kimmer Transmission and Gear for al of your transmission work. They are professional, honest, and fair with their pricing. All very important items for vehicle maintenance work.

After the work done, the car felt pretty much same or sometimes even worse, for example the handle gets really stiff to turn. He says that it's very normal process because the air has to be bleed out. Weeks have passed with same issue so he came to check the car again and said there's power steering pump rack problem. The rack is usually $1000-2000. Personally didn't really think it would be the rack problem with several reasons and decided to take the car to bigger auto shop. After diagnosis, I was told that the power steering pump is failed because when it was replaced, the flush should've be done but since he skipped it, now debris in fluid damaged not only the whole new pump but also hose and reservoir. Of course as car owner, I was definitely frustrated with the fact that now I have to pay extra more money than before when I thought I could save money because of how mechanic guy has done. I personally had to pay new power steering pump+labor fee but now I have to pay another new power steering pump+hose+reservoir+another labor fee. I will accept the fact that I was asking money back at first because.... who wouldn't? It might not be making sense to ask money back for damaging the new power steering pump by how poorly worked done but I thought the labor fee at least would've been made sense. Instead of taking accountability, he would be defend and saying the book he learned from says that power steering pump replacement is totally okay without the flush and had no problem with all other cars or sending me the google search screenshots. Of course the warranty wouldn't cover anything of things even if he damaged the new part and extra parts of car. Currently I wanted to see more opinions than one or two so took the car to another new auto shop, they also agreed that power steering pump is failed and with high possibility from how it was worked done. Surprisingly the rack itself doesn't look like having a problem, different than what this guy said. People at auto shop also say that flush is very necessary for the pump replacement, especially when the car is old. As I personally said to him, people can always make mistakes but important thing is how to handle. I got an apology eventually. But I wasted money. The other thing, he advised me to replace rear break pads soon. I went to check the break pad recently, all my break pads are not needed to replace due to adequate thickness. I would say he is a capable man to do some works on cars but I can't say he would be with more complicated jobs.

When the error code got thrown again I called kimmer transmission to schedule an appointment to have them check it out since I was driving down from boulder 50 miles away. I arrived 15 minutes early and was the first customer in the door that day. Kimmer asked for my keys then asked if I had a ride since they may not even get to it that day. This was a surprise, since when I scheduled the appointment, I specifically stated that I was supposed to be leaving for Wisconsin that day and wanted to try and take care of this issue before doing so. I said I did not have a ride but had no problem waiting. Kimmer tried suggesting a nearby restaurant but I told them I already had breakfast. They tried to get me to go the shop next door because "it was more comfortable" but I said I was fine working on my phone in their waiting area. After seeing they weren't going to get rid of me they reluctantly ran a scan tool on the truck, which takes about 2 minutes, also which I had already had done in boulder to try to save myself the trip. Kimmer came back and told me that the car cannot communicate with the part THAT THEY INSTALLED!!! WHICH IS EXACTLY THE REASON I DROVE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO HAVE THEM FIGURE OUT WHY! It was clear that kimmer was not going to make any effort whatsoever to resolve the issue. Never even put it on a lift to look. It is apparent that they have little to no follow up service on jobs that they clearly did not do correctly in the first place.
