He mentioned it is the second oldest pizzeria in America, so I had to check it out. I'm so glad I did. This is a really cute, community-oriented spot with a warm and welcoming feel. I ordered a small pizza, but "small" definitely does not feel small here. It was actually a great size. More importantly, the pizza was super fresh and extremely delicious. What stood out just as much as the food was how kind everyone was. As someone visiting from out of town, I really appreciated how warm and friendly the people were. It also felt like the kind of place that would be great for hosting a casual party or gathering. Highly recommend. If you're in Utica, this is definitely a place you need to try.

I'd had O'Scugnizzo pizza before but never dined in, so when I was craving some upside down pizza,…read morewe headed over. It's a super casual joint, with a large dining space with booths and tables. It reminded me of being a kid and going out to lunch at the local pizzeria. The staff was friendly and I could tell they enjoyed working together; the front area was full of laughing and lively conversation. We got some cheesy garlic bread, a small pepperoni pizza, and some wings. I was happy with everything, especially the pizza. It's a place I'd like to keep in my rotation for pizza night!

Went in for a slice on a recommendation. They had about 6 different pizza choices ready to go for…read moreslices. They have a thicker slice than I prefer but I got the mushroom and sausage which was LOADED with toppings. The crust was golden brown looking great but a slightly doughy but hard bottom which made cutting it difficult with plastic silverware as to not dirty my dress clothes. They used a mild spicy sausage which I liked as it gave a bit more flavor compared to the canned mushrooms. Slice was ok and good for a quick easy meal. The cheesecake slice was large and VERY dense with a side of strawberry topping for me to use or not use. It was very thick with large chunks of strawberries. A slice and a cheesecake cost $9. Service was quick and straight to the point. Overall ok quality It won't become a regular place for me but it's good for a quick meal when you have limited time.

I ordered 2 plain slices and 1/2 sausage roll. The girl range it up at $25.xx! I looked at her like I wasn't going to pay that....she recalculated and the price was now $16.xx. Also the pizza was gooie. Should have been baked longer. May have to start looking for another pizza joint To provide consistent good pizza and I think I found it.
