Was in an emergency and needed my water heater replaced immediately after several failed attempts to get my water heater installed for 2 weeks. I contacted Ben on a Wednesday night fairly late around 8 or 9pm thinking he would respond the next morning. He immediately responded within 10 mins. Set up an appointment for Friday at 11 am. He was on time and jumped right in and got to work. He was friendly, knowledgeable and does very clean work for a very reasonable price. When i hear the front toilet gurgle when doing laundry, I know it's the kiss o'death, and of course, this happens always on a Sunday. I called 2Day Plumbing at 2 pm, and he promised to be out a little after 4, which I appreciated given that it would be past his Sunday hours. Ben showed up when promised, and got right to work on the sewer line. The price he quoted was actually average, even on a Sunday. Once he got the line clear, he then offered to 'scope it with the fiber optic camera to make sure he got as much as possible, which I knew would cost more, but let's git 'er done. He found the remains of the root ball where I expected it (because this is not my first root ball rodeo), and even though it was now small, Ben went after it at least four more times, each time feeding the camera to check even as we were losing daylight. I was thoroughly impressed by his diligence and thoroughness. And the cost for scoping was really reasonable, so definitely worth it. I had a water heater that needed to be replaced asap due to a leak. Another company quoted me a lot more than what I expected and had no availability for at least a week. I called Ben based on his great reviews and he was out of the area, but asked me to text him pictures since I couldn't tell the size of the tank or any of the details due to it having an insulation blanket around it that I would have had to cut to get to the model information beneath. Ben was able to tell that it was a 50 gallon tank just from my pictures. He then gave me a very reasonable quote and said he could probably get it done the next day or a couple days after. The repair was higher than my home warranty's limit and required for a plumber to call them for approval before doing the repair. Ben said he would call them before the end of the day, which he did. In fact, he ended up spending 45 minutes on the phone with a rude lady from my home warranty company, but ultimately they approved everything. He then showed up before he said he would the following day, quoted me 4-5 hrs and was done in less than 2 hrs. He was professional, quick, efficient and a pleasure to speak with. I also paid about $600 less than what the competitor quoted and I am very pleased with how everything came out. He explained to me that he doesn't look to overcharge people. He makes a small profit and hopes to get referrals, which he will definitely be getting from me. Ben not only came to the rescue, but he saved me a lot of money. I have a duplex rental that developed a block in the main sewer line. First, in desperation, I contacted a different company as it was evening and it was the only company I found that was available that day. I was told by the person they sent that he couldn't fix the problem right then and that I would need to make an appointment for someone from his company to come back and tear up the driveway (for several hundred dollars, of course, at least) to correct the problem.
