This is by far the best thrift store in the South Bay. They have a very organized variety of clothes, books, shoes and even jewelry. The furniture is always priced fairly they have good tables and beautiful frames. Have gotten lucky a few time and found name brand Levi's, Hollister, New Balance even seen a pair of Jordan's shoes in good condition. Used to love savers and have been coming since they opened in 2013 but lately they've been charging some outrageous prices on stuff that's clearly broken or in poor condition. I went in today and saw an old projector that was in serious need of attention. The bulb was burned out and the reels dont spin. The thing is also filthy on top of being broken. Definitely not worth the $50 they're asking not even on eBay. I asked about it but they said the best they could do was $39.99. Still wayyyy too high. If they're going to ask outrageous prices for stuff they should atleast make sure it works. Fortunately there's still plenty of goodwills in the South Bay. Savers is a great, large, clean thrift store. Prices are great for all clothes and home goods. Purse section was lacking, needs a bit more variety. All clothes are by size and type such as long sleeve, short sleeve, etc. which helps a lot if you when you want to run in for a quick browse. The star is super nice and helpful. By far my favorite thrift store. I absolutely love thrifting and Savers is always my number 1 choice. Everything is pretty organized. There is a a lot of stuff and they're constantly bringing out new racks throughout the day. It's fairly clean. Staff friendliness is a hit or miss. The people working the donation center are actually really nice. They always help me get the donations out of my car. Items are decently priced. Savers has changed for the worse!! The PRICES are too hight for a thrift store!!! All the REGULAR EMPLOYEES are gone. People sit on the furniture to read,sleep or look over their merchandise?? No one says aword and NO SIGNS?? They now have a Security guard, BUT! there are 2 open doors?? Today there wasn't a security guard at all?? Oh well, I guess today you could just walk out with whatever? I told an employee of a young women who kept taking clothes into the bathroom and coming out with them on??? But no one aproached her? The check out registrars, No one seems to keep track of who is really scanning all their merchandise or even paying!!! They made a mistake taking away the registers where an employee rang you up!!! Today it was a mess everywhere! The jewelry area is alway busy and you get LOOKY LOOS and so you can't even get thru them because the counter it too small!! I really like that this thrift store is so organized, not just by MEN, WOMEN, CHILDREN, but sizes too! That makes looking for clothing much, much easier than hunting for hours through every single rack. Also - their children's selection is really large and they have separate racks for INFANTS (0-12 months) and TODDLER/KIDS CLOTHING, which is awesome. I've been places were you have 5T pants next to onesies making it hard to see what's available on a rack. The only negative is the pricing, which is why I took away a star. I get that certain brands are higher end and cost more, but it's still USED clothing. I saw a Michael Kors top that was $29.99 at this Savers. That kind of pricing is more like Marshalls or TJMaxx... You know, last-season but brand new clothing. This store needs to understand this is used AND last-season clothing. I couldn't imagine spending $30 on a top at a thrift store. On the other hand, some less common, high-quality brands can be found at a reasonable price (but I do think it's an oversight on their end, not intentional). read more

Just beware of this if you are a donator: I was there yesterday when an employee was throwing - literally - glassware into a garbage can. Yeah. Things were breaking as he was going shelf by shelf and checking tags and then pitching them into the can. When I asked what that was all about, an employee told me that as things age-out on the shelf, they are "recycled". So, folks, your things get tossed into some dumpster somewhere if they do not sell within a certain period of time. Do other charities do the same? I don't know but I witnessed this at Savers with my own eyes. I will donate elsewhere because I now understand that this business model is about MONEY, not reusing goods. Just know your unwanted things may or may not end up in a good home. They may go to a landfill somewhere. read more

Why buy used when you can get a lot of these things new for the same price at places like Ross and Burlington? I feel like this store is my secret little gem. Since I have discovered it, I haven't been to any other thrift stores. They are so organized! I hate how goodwill is just throw together by color. Savers has it broken down to what type of clothing and size. Much easier to look through. The prices are fantastic, some might think a little bit high but the quality of items is very good. Went on Labor Day so it was honestly really busy. They did have a 50% off sale going on so that made up for it. I think the store itself is really neat compared to others. I'm in love with all the home decor they have. They even have a couple of dressing rooms which was cool since I've only been to thrift stores with 1 or 2 dressing rooms (a lil annoying but wtvr). I stumbled upon this gem last week, and ever since I did, let's just say that I'm going for my third visit today. I have the worst luck when it comes to thrift stores. I never find my size, and if I did, there was something wrong with it like a missing button or a stain. Well, the layout of Savers has made my thrifting lack of luck a thing of the past. It's super organized and I could easily find what I'm looking for. It doesn't reek of that awful wet attic smell that most thrift stores have. I found a few name brand items like J. Crew, GAP, Guess, Arianna Papell and more. They only downfall is that branded pieces are equivalent to the prices of Ross or Marshalls. Wasn't this a thrift store? Most of the items are used; however, you will find a few pieces here that still have tags on. There are new items added everyday. Come on Wednesdays; they also have special tag sales of up to 50% off. People ages 55 and older get 30% off on their orders every Tuesday. The frequent sales help offset the fact that they jack up the prices compared to other thrift stores, but the fact that Savers has what I'm looking for; hires the best staff with amazing customer service; does its best to keep the store organized and involved in many charity organizations, then hey, we're really not at a loss when shopping at Savers. read more

Before going here I went to a really gross thrift shop- like I'm pretty sure there was matter on the clothes that shouldn't have been. But...this place looked pretty organized, there was a great amount of clothes, and I tried on a lot of cute items. I guess my only complaint is that I was really confused about their try-on system because it was a small section in the corner of the store and no one was there to monitor it. Giving five stars, wishing I could give six. I had only been to this store one other time and I was initially very impressed with how organized everything was. The housewares section was very neat and all the electronics were in baggies for convenience. I was really delighted to see that they also have a very nice fabric section. It wasn't too big but they had a lot of things I had never seen at a thrift store before. They had ribbons and buttons and yarn all individually wrapped. AND THEY HAD SEWING PATTERNS! So awesome! I'm often very turned-off by the high prices of furniture at the Salvation Army but the furniture here is actually well-priced! I saw a nice BIG table here for $26.99. If I needed a table I would have loved it! Finally, I want to talk about my donation experience today. Just WOW. They have a nice coned-off drive thru for people making donations. Another car had just pulled up in front of me and the guy working rolled a cart over to her and then rolled a cart over to me. She had questions for him so he was helping her. So I just started loading up the cart ( I had a ton of stuff.) By the time he had finished with the other lady, I had loaded 7 bags of stuff into the cart. When he came over to me he said "I'm so sorry I couldn't help you load everything up!" I told him there was still some more stuff so he started helping me with that. He was so kind! Just a genuinely nice guy. After we loaded up everything he gave me a little packet that included information about the tax write-offs and also coupons to the store! Before I left he apologized AGAIN for not being able to help loading up the first half of stuff. I didn't catch his name but he was a younger guy with dark hair. Thanks guy! The price tag adhesive at this location is so strong it damages the items. I am only rating this location low for that reason, because I hope management will see this and note the issue. It seems to be a different price tag than I've seen at some other locations. I give the employees 5 stars overall. Always helpful when I ask one of the guys for assistance in the back of the store where the electronics and furniture are, or when I donate stuff. Good people. And yes, Willy is a character and I love that guy. Easy to donate here also and a good cause. My problem is that the price tag adhesive at this particular location is one of the worst of any store I've been to anywhere. It's so sticky and hard to get off that it peels off the finish of books, records, old furniture (sometimes) and especially anything that is vintage and has an older painted finish. I've tried everything to remove these price tags when I get home, also, as I like buying stuff here, otherwise. Dampening the tag with warm water does nothing as the glue is not water soluble. And water can damage some things like books or records, so it's not a good solution. Rubbing alcohol doesn't work on this type of adhesive either. "Goo Gone" glue and gunk remover works but it also stains the item if the surface is at all porous, so you can end up with more damage than you started with. The amount of goo gone you need to remove this price tag is also kind of ridiculous and that's part of the problem too. Most tags you just need a little bit if they're tough to get off and it doesn't soak into the book because you don't have to use much. This price tag is larger than most tags and the adhesive is impossible. The price tags are fine for glass and metal and unfinished wood, although still a pain to remove sometimes, but anything older that is painted or anything paper or fragile, factor in that some of the finish may come off with the price tag. I think it's really over priced for used items, your better off going to Ross or something like it. It smells old in there but all thrift shops smell this way. I went to look for a costume I could put together or buy and they were like $19.99. Then I browsed around and things that are $0.99 were more then $2. I wouldn't recommend coming here go to Ross Marshall's the 99 cent store better and avoid the smell plus new items. read more

Went on monday and since it was Memorial Day they offered 50% off. Found some pretty good deals but must agree the prices are a little high i would not have gotten all my items if they were not 50% off. Like any bargain shopper I always look for a good buy and sometimes I can go to a department store clearance rack and find better deals then a thrift store so I can buy it new. The pricing department needs to get a grip. I come to savers to SAVE. Not pay almost what I would pay at Ross or Marshalls. Over the past 4 years I've seen the prices at all savers go up and up. The quality and selection of clothing have stayed consistent but the prices have gone through the roof. These are donations that the get FOR FREE and up charge them way to high. They stopped giving you a 20% off coupon everytime you donate and replaced it with a sticker card. Cool, but even if you donate a huge garbage bag of goods, you only get ONE sticker (5% off) how dumb. read more

And if you have donations, please take them to someone else, like the salvation army or the house of yaweh. This is our to go store. We love going thrifty shopping, and finding goodies. You will be amazed at how many things you will find, the only problem is finding something that will fit you (lol) You will find new items, clothes with tags on them and with a great selling price. The trick is for you to wait on sales, so your out of pocket could be low. I think the most we have to spend for a load of clothes was $50. read more
