Thai boat noodle - tasty broth but wasn't sure why it came out dark until I later asked and they said it's blended pigs blood. Had I known I probably would have gotten a different broth as I was looking for something clear and soothing like a chicken soup. Still, the noodles and meat were delicious. I dialed the spicyness at "medium". It was *perfect*! My wife had Pad Thai with chicken, and she left it at the default spicyness (medium), which ended up being too hot for her, but she soldiered on nevertheless enjoying the wonderful flavor. Perhaps because of the noodles and curry, the spiciness of the Pad Thai seemed much stronger than the Thai-Railway fried rice dish. Of course, we had leftovers and I'll probably end up eating hers, and she'll eat mine. The service was prompt, and the girl waiting on the tables was courteous, with a beautiful smile. The restaurant is deceptively roomy, seeming to be smaller from the outside, but once inside, it was quiet, clean, with comfortable chairs, clean tables, and large windows to enjoy some of Kihei's views (like today's gentle rain). As with most things these day on Maui, where everything comes in a shipping container, food costs are very noticable. Our meal, including thai ice tea and a soda, with a coconut ice-cream to finish it was about $44/person. Not cheap, but also not as bad as, say, Tommy Bahamas.

And don't skip the mango sticky rice! The sticky rice was warm, soft, and pillowy, and the mango was perfectly ripe. Everyone here is super friendly too. The interior is cute, creative, and full of little details that show how much thought went into the place. They even play Thai country music in the background. One tip for first-timers: when you arrive, grab a menu from the check-in spot outside the restaurant, to the left of the dining area. Then head into the dining area and they'll seat you.
