    A portion of the bar.

If you have ever or never been to the Austin International airport, this is the spot to grabbed yourself some drinks before your way out of Austin. I have come here a many of times I have flown out of Austin. The service can be a hit or miss. I haven't had any issues with my credit card being scanned and hack like others have said. Needless to say be watchful of your card and I would recommend always use Apple or Google pay. There is plenty of seating and there is a taco truck right across from this spot to grab yourself a bite while you're grabbing some drinks here.

It is a big space in our "keeping it weird" airport. A big bar... a big stage... a big seating area, and a big plus of a place. Come on in... belly up to the bar and order a beer from the 10 or more on tap,or get a custom made sangria, or try some of the food from their simple menu... no matter what just come in smiling! If your not happy I am sure this location will help change that. The live music.. even though this particular group was not my kind of normal crank it up tunes.. it was nice! A group of guys came in played, had fun, and made everyone's days a little better. What really helped me was the 512 pecan porter... awwwwwwweeeeesome Beer!!! That and a plate of their loaded curly fries and I'm good to go. Toss in great service, a fantastic location and other food options, man I could've stayed right there for a while. There is lots of available space... tables bar area and even bleachers to cop your squat at. The music is not so loud that you can't talk and the beer is cold. They also feature Tito's here. It is a relaxed, fun location in an airport that is teaching other airports about comfort, fun, and how to enhance the travel experience.

Ended up with an unexpected, elongated layover. Spent it at Saxon Pub, and we couldn't have been happier. Josh, the bartender, was absolutely amazing. Even when he was swamped, he took great care of us. The drinks were phenomenal. He really personalized even a Virgin Bloody Mary. Mimosas were also delicious. Prices were a bit high, but it was no higher than any other airport bar. So we expected it. Food menu was a little limited, but #covid. TV had great sports. All-in-all, great experience and I would definitely recommend.

Chicken wings - 90% fat, barely any edible chicken

Just skip this place. A friend and I stopped in only because this place was right next to our gate and we really did not want to eat anymore of the heavy Austin fare. We figured we could get a salad or a wrap from here, so we ordered before our flight. We got the Turkey Bacon wrap which comes with a spicy ranch sauce. We ordered the wrap without the ranch but ir came with it anyway. Oh well... We also decided to try an order of the wings and my, oh my. These were 90% fat and 10% ficken (fake chicken). We had to rip into every single wing to dig for the chicken. I'm not sure where this place orders their frozen chicken wings from, but they need to stop. These are clearly injected with fat that makes them inedible. In regards to the service, our waitress was nice but this place is understaffed. It's a busy terminal and a lot of people are stopping in for a quick bite. They definitely need more than 2 waitresses working here. My advice is to buy food before heading to the airport. If you are here on a layover, skip this place altogether and check the reviews for the other restaurants.

    Turkey pesto chicken sandwich

I went to Saxton Pub a while back when I was in between flights at ABIA. I ordered the turkey pesto sandwich on sour dough bread. The turkey for the sandwich was not fresh sliced turkey but was reminiscent of packaged lunch meat. The sandwich was okay. The employees at the establishment were hospitable and attentive. In general, this food was typical of airport eats.

Dirty, no body bothers to clean the wet counter, I decided to do it myself, nobody even bothered to pickup the napkin I used to clean it with. Now, wait for it... $11.64 for a pint of beer! Service is ok but less than average. I will not be back.

Typical airport food. My grilled turkey and pesto sandwich sounds much better than it is; picture $1.99, wet grocery story turkey on ok sourdough that needs help. The restaurant only has Tabasco so whatever you attempt to spice up will be very vinegary. Three stars for airport food. The food elsewhere, however, would be 1.5 stars. Service is good at the bar.

Service was extremely slow and there was no line. Mercedes was our waitress and had an attitude as soon as she got to our table. It seemed like we were troubling her to take our order. Also do not ask to pay whole price for sweet potato fries and half it with the lower cost fries......she will not do it. The grilled chicken sandwich tasted as though they used a bird that had just finished a round trip flight around the world without drinking. Very dry. I think they are using hummingbirds for their meat.....as it was so tiny (see photo). I've gotten better fries at a high school football game. I would recommend that you use ketchup but my bottle on the table was empty.

I'll start by complimenting the staff! Everyone we encountered - bar tender, server both - had a great sense of humor and were a pleasure to engage with. I went a few weeks ago for my friend's birthday on their back patio, and it was the perfect spot for a chill celebration. The Guinness was fresh (no sad, flat pours here), the fish and chips were thick, crispy, and super satisfying, and the service was more than a-plenty the whole night. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax, hang out, and hear your friends without sacrificing fun vibes. On a nice day, there's honestly nowhere I'd rather be posted up with a pint than Kelly's patio.

Ticked away in a little complex without 79 visibility along with a couple of other places that don't seem to get much traffic either. Finally made our first visit so we could try "the best fish & chips" in the Austin area. I was surprised how big it was, they have a patio, a bar area and lots of tables I was shocked as from the outside it looks tiny. Service was fantastic which was shocking with them closing soon. The service was enough to want me to go back hopefully for us in this area they end up somewhere close by as I know how hard it is to find good workers. Pretzels were good! Onion rings were our favorite! Their version of the Philly was just okay, was very plain with not much flavor hubby didn't even finish half. But the star of the show was the fish and chips. My son was over the moon! Couldn't even finish half of it and he wanted to haha. Sad to see they will be closing their doors but hopefully the owner has something else up his sleeve as they were onto something with this place.

It was cooked well, if a little too much breading for my taste. The chips were really good. The tartar sauce was different than I am used to, a little runny and pink tinged, but it was good. The mushy peas were yummy and added an authenticity to the dish. I didn't really use the curry sauce that also came with the dish. To me it doesn't go with fish or chips. I did taste it, and the flavor was great.
