    Raspberry lemonade
    Isabelle T.

This snack shack is right next to the Torture museum so it was perfect for a quick bite before doing the museum. We got a hotdog and a raspberry lemonade drink. The hotdog was alright but the raspberry lemonade was not good, I do not recommend getting it. But the location is convenient and there are other options to try.

If you don't like shrimp or seafood, or fried/Southern food, this place is not made for you. I always get the shrimp plate, squash casserole, and green beans, and sweet tea (with hush puppies). Yes, there's veggies on the plate, but they are swimming in butter and all the fiber is cooked out of them. The fried shrimp are very lightly battered--they are perfect. Service is fast and friendly. It's a family-run place and you can tell. The place is small, though it has grown, a bit, over the years. Regardless, there is very likely to be a line! You can always order to go, but it's not quite the same. There's a few picnic tables out back for to go orders as their food has to be eaten fresh for full effect! It's cash only, too. The decor leans heavily on coastal/Americana. They are very proud to be American, especially with the 250th birthday. I will say, though the American decorations are plenty, it does not feel political, simply celebratory. As for the kids, they have your expected fried kid items. There's not any coloring pages or anything. But the place is kid friendly in the fact that the food is served quickly and the servers are patient with kids. It's a tight space, so squirmy kids might have to get their energy out outside. Their newer bathrooms are more family (and wheelchair) friendly. As long as this place keeps up the consistency with their shrimp, I will keep coming back. My last visit, though, I did the unheard: I ordered chicken! (I still got some shrimp, too) The chicken was equally good and very hearty. The biscuits, though, were clearly canned. But if that's the only corner they cut, I don't really mind.

No reservations taken, check in and then wait outside on a long bench or stand in the shade by the next building. The wait can be long, but we lucked out with a table for two. It was a busy evening, and a few big big groups. Bring cash...no credit cards. They have a fried chicken special for $11.99, with 2 sides and 2 hush puppies. The fried shrimp is the most popular dish on the menu, with a choice of how many pieces. There is no booze, but the ice tea, sweet or unsweetened is tasty, and refilled often. I had the 9 piece shrimp dinner with macaroni and cheese and the cucumber salad with the delicious hush puppies. The red fish was delicious too. The Minorcan soup had the right amount of heat. No room for a piece of pie. The staff is so well trained. Restaurants have come and gone, but O'Steen's has the right formula. When we left, the lines were longer. Best to get they earlier than later. Don't forget they are closed on Sunday and Monday.

After you traverse the alleyways of historic St Augustine, you are transported to your yiayia's house and greeted warmly by the staff. The Feta Saganaki appetizer is one of the coolest dishes that I have ever had. The Polish kielbasa plate is out of this world- the sausage has that perfect crunch and char, the mountain of sauerkraut is delicious, and the platter comes with your choice of 4 pierogis- our server recommended that we try one of each flavor. Potato was the favorite. The gyro is epic & huge, so we ended up nibbling on one half and taking the other half to-go. The wine selection is eclectic and intriguing. The pastry case will tempt you with the Basque burnt cheesecake, and it will win. You should let it win. We are so glad that we found this hidden gem, and this will be a return spot for our future trips!

Tucked just off the main street, this small, locally owned restaurant offers incredible food and a charming atmosphere. I ordered the Kielbasa with Pierogies and the Bogus Stew, and everything was completely on point. The pierogies were served with traditional bacon, onions, and house-made sauerkraut that was braised with fantastic seasoning. The menu at this restaurant is a combination of Polish staples and your standard Greek foods. It's a very interesting menu. We didn't have room for dessert, but they are all homemade and looked delicious--we will definitely save room for them next tim

I looked at several places, this location caught my eye. Hubby drove me over to SR-207 and I-95. I didn't realize that we could call and order ahead. This location was just recently renovated. The inside has lots of seating and there's a tv to watch while you eat your meal. Young lady working the cashier/ order taker was so friendly and helpful. Let's talk prices...Sam's prices are pretty good. Very reasonably priced meals and they have a large selection. See the menu photos below. Hubby ordered the #1- Southern Single Burger $8.99. Beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and mayo. I ordered Sam Combo #11- $16.99. 4 fish (2 Swai/2Flounder), fried pickles and sweet tea. I had already made fresh Cole slaw at home. We also ordered Fried Pickles $4.99 & Banana Pudding $4.99. We did take out. When we got home the food was still piping hot ! Yesss . The fish was fried Well but not seasoned. A little salt took care of that. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS Well Done! We have a new place for seafood in St. Augustine.
