    Bacon sausage stromboli
    Kiana M.

We went to the mall of America location.. My daughter ordered the bacon, sausage stromboli. For the whopping price of $8, what she received was merely an over priced reheated hot pocket. I'm all set ever ordering from this franchise again.

i stopped by sbarro at the food court in the MOA for a quick lunch and got the breadstick combo and pepperoni stomboli. the total cost was $9. it was delicious, filling, and prepared very quickly! they have a variety of pizzas and bread you can choose from. customer service was excellent and the servers were nice. there's usually always people in line, but the line moves very quickly. there's tables in the food court where you can dine at. overall rating: 7/10

Definitely a go-to for fresh pizza and related items! Cheers!

From what I had heard, Pizza Novara in Bloomington (near Mall of America) was owned or established…read moreby the same person as Joey Nova's in Excelsior. I therefore wanted to give it a try, since I think that Joey Nova (and Elmar Pizza) are the best New York-style pizzas in the Twin Cities. However, there is no ownership or any other ties between Pizza Novara and Joey Nova. Although they both serve New York style pizza and you can get a whole pie or a slice, that's where the similarity ends. My wife and I tried two different kinds of slices. I opted for the plain cheese, while my wife got the pepperoni. As an ex-New Yorker, i would say the pizza here is OK, but doesn't hit as well as the other two restaurants that I mention above. The pizza is ordered at the counter and brought to your table when ready. Both my wife and I thought the counter person was a bit snippy when asked a few questions about the pizza. Nothing terrible, but not particularly welcoming. There are lots of hotels surrounding this restaurant and I'm sure they get a lot of business (take-out and delivery) from the hotels and it's certainly better than most of the chains. The restaurant is bright and cheerful and there are tables to sit at if you want to eat in the restaurant.

And, i wish i could have gotten the artichoke dip this time bc i got it last time and it was oh so good, but... I am on a budget so we just got a pizza and then ate it. thanks.

Too expensive for me. Sorry! :(…read more I've driven past this place countless times headed downtown and always wanted to give it a try because I love Italian food! Finally the perfect day to snag some arrived. Got our meals to-go, which in a way was like "thank goodness" because at least I didn't have to then also leave a tip for the wait staff... Doing so would've made this $50+ instead of $40+. Ouch! DX The bottled beverages are $4 a pop, canned for $3. Gosh dang, fam, you could've at least made those affordable to even things out instead of finding another way to gouge... Placed my order at the counter and sat in the lobby on the hard chairs to wait for it to be prepared. It took A WHILE. Which maybe makes sense for stuff like lasagna and pizza. Idk. I was there pretty late at night (nearly 8pm) on a Monday night, so maybe that was part of the problem too? It got later and later into the evening and I got hangier the longer I sat, I'll admit. Oops. At least when the order was ready, it was piping hot, so even on the 15-minute drive home it stayed plenty warm when we opened it up to consume. Sadly though, the garlic bread was halfway to soggy because it steamed inside the tin foil... Thankfully our air fryer was able to restore it to crunchy glory. The food was all pretty tasty at least, and in a reasonable quantity, so even though it was pricey, I did get three meals out of my $21 pasta dish (I'm on the small side though, so your "mileage" may vary). If I was made of money, I'd be happy to return to try the dine-in experience. It looked like the inside and outside had been painted with fun colors, which I always find to be a plus (I like knowing some artist out there got to contribute their craft to making a place unique). Or maybe some time I'll just drop in to try the gelato (or have the in-laws treat us when they visit, pfft). The parking situation is... well, a situation. It's not good. They have a small lot out back that isn't well delineated as to where you should or can park... and escaping from that lot is also a burden. I think most people just parallel park on the opposite side of the street? Or maybe walk from Lake Nokomis? Or maybe it's all local folk who walk from home. I get it, not every place can accommodate a lot of vehicles though.
