A few weeks later we gave them another shot- subs and breadsticks. They gave us a half order of sticks instead of the full order we had paid for- and forgot the cheese sauce again. They had us wait for a fresh 5 breadsticks to be made. Thankfully the second batch was soft because the first batch, which my husband specifically asked to not be overdone... were in fact, overdone. My sub had hardly any toppings on it at all. I kid you not, it seemed like I was literally just eating bread. My husband thought his sub was pretty good, a cubano, although the bread was overdone. After the girl who answered hung up on him, he called back to speak to the manager. At this point, he told the manager that she had hung up on him, and the manager said, "well you called her a b----h." He did not, in fact, call her any names. He told the manager that this was a lie. He was told he could come and get it or get a refund. In this area, it is not unusual to have to drive 5-10 miles just to go to one of very few restaurants.
