And once we ordered it was maybe around 15 minutes that we got our food order, it came all at once piping hot. The food here gave me a slice of Italy nostalgia that was enough to bring me back to the good times there. I recommend: - queen margherita - great for 2 person! I love how fluffy the edges and taste the cheese and tomato! the cheese didn't trigger my lactose. 100% fulfilled my pizza cravings. - carpaccio per due - very thinly sliced beef with argula, pine nut, tomato and salsa di latte. the meat here was more thinnly sliced than i expected so it was a bit of a challenge to grab all the ingredients - Ragu della mamma - slow cooked beef ragu, a family recipe with red wine and plenty of parmesan. this is probably our absolute favorite dish of the night! it came in a heart-shape pot and they let you decide how much parmesan to add on top. It came together so perfectly, I swear I almost got lost in the taste. Never went for pasta refills so fast. - drinks - limoncello - perfect after all the food we ate! Such a beautiful restaurant, yet the food was such a let down. Calamari portion is ridiculously small & was crumbling falling apart. Lost in Italy drink was missing something... maybe its just not for me although the description sounded really good. Meatballs were super tightly rolled they were tough to eat. Focaccia is very different from traditional, more like pizza bread , tasted really good. BROCCOLICIOUS was far from delicious, tasted like steamed broccoli tossed in pasta. I asked for salt and lemon because we were trying to fix the flavor but it really didn't help. no pesto or gremolate notes RAGÙ DELLA MAMMA was good, my husband ordered it and he enjoyed it. Service was ok, if the waiter didn't take so long to check in I would have ordered something else but she didn't check in until the end just to drop off the dessert menu, so i didn't get the chance to order something different. Viva La Mamma came up for me on Instagram recently and I knew immediately that I had to go. I booked a dinner reservation for last week and enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in months! I came in with my mom and one of our good friends and we were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in the door. We shared multiple items on the menu, including the Summer Romance Salad, Queen Margherita pizza, Ragu Della Mamma, and the Foccacia Della Mamma. Everything was absolutely delicious! The focaccia was so good that we devoured it in seconds, got a second order, and promptly devoured that too. The pasta was presented in a Dutch oven and was steaming hot and perfectly al dente. We were also celebrating my mom's birthday, and they surprised her with tiramisu -- and it was, quite frankly, the best tiramisu I've EVER had. So flavorful, sweet, and delicious! I also love the menus, which are designed to look like record covers. Such a fun and unique touch! This is such a new gem on West 3rd. I know the space has been home to other Italian restaurants in the past that haven't lasted, but I truly hope this one does because it's absolutely worth every penny. We found this place online. This is our first time here but not our last after tonight. I'm glad we found this gem. Traveling all the way from the valley to come here was worth it. Staff was top tier. Jon who was the hostess was kind on the phone when we called to asked questions. Same service when we showed for our resi. Kind and attentive even when I wanted to change tables. Scarlette our server was very attentive, kind, and good at her job. No job is too little for anyone the GM Sonny kept checking on us. Bus staff all professional attentive and caring! Again no job is too little for anyone here. The quality of the service and the quality of the food 10000/10. I rarely eat out of my traditional places and this experience transported me somewhere else. The ambiance is a delight and chic. It gives aesthetics without the influencers. A hidden gem! We had salad, pasta, and pizza! None of it disappointed! They have only been open since March! This is a hidden gem that is bound to blow up. I'm glad that I was able to try it. Pasta is homemade pick is brick oven. I mean I can go on and on. Seats aesthetic everything here. We came at 720 and didn't leave until 10pm! Which is usually a sign we like it! We celebrated our mom's 65th birthday here on a Tuesday night and we had such a blast. Since it wasn't anywhere near the weekend, it wasn't very busy when we came. 5 stars without a doubt. This spot just opened a few days ago and it's already making serious noise. You can feel the hype the moment you walk in. Came in randomly for a late dinner at almost 10pm. Ambience and vibes were immaculate - tons of cute detail. Hostess was super friendly and welcoming. Everything we had was great (ragu pasta, some like it hot pizza, and ricotta tarte). The pizza is not well-done/crispy, it's a great tasting dough/crust and more flop - but I'm sure they would cook it longer if that's your thing. My husband said he would probably ask next time for it to be a bit more well-done. My tequila gimlet martini was one of the best I've had. Considering this place opened less than a month ago, I was impressed. Typically in the first few months, you see a restaurant work out the kinks but they were few and far between. My feedback notes: the food was super quick but the drinks took a while - we had both dishes before we had the drinks. When I looked over I saw the bartenders were kind of chilling and laughing with one another, so that could be improved. I think we also came in late and they had cut the other servers because our waitress looked like she had all the tables and thus, there were some service delays but nothing I would consider "bad service". The Some Like It Hot pizza was another highlight some of the best Neapolitan I've had in outside of Italy. The ambiance is classy and the bar is beautiful with extensive drink menu. The staff was a little unorganized, which is understandable for a new restaurant, but everyone was very friendly. We got the margarita pizza and pesto pizza, it came out undercooked at first so they took it back and brought another that was cooked more. Not much flavor and just eh. I walked by the restaurant several times before it opened and loved watching its mural come together, made a note to myself to get out there and try it at some point soon, and finally got some friends together and went last night! The thing that impressed our group the most was the attention to detail that was put into curating the atmosphere -- a menu designed like the liner notes of a record with a "vinyl" inside, a drink menu designed to look like a fashion magazine, plush seating, romantic lighting throughout, etc. We tried a lot of the food! Highlights were: the focaccia (with garlic), stracciella (I hope I spelled that right lol), the "some like it hot" pizza (my favorite from the night), the ragu, and the squid ink pasta! One of my partner's favorite meals of his entire life was a squid ink pasta he had in Venice on a family vacation over a decade ago, and he said that this one was the closest he's had to it. Other reviews mention service being slow, but that didn't feel like the case at all for our group. The restaurant being fairly new we were one of three tables seated in the whole place. I was underwhelmed by the food. We ordered a salad and there was barely any salad in the bowl, and a few of the ingredients were missing. All the drinks and food was just average to mediocre.
