The restaurant wasn't crowded upon arrival. The restaurant was clean & the music was nice. We placed our orders( very friendly cashier)....turkey avocado sandwich and turkey club sandwich.. sandwich only, not combo. We sat for a few minutes. The cashier delivered our to go order in under 5 minutes. The sandwiches were flavorful and delicious. We also got the center of the roll cinnamon roll...it's basically a cinnamon roll in a cupcake. I hated to give this one star review but felt it was necessary to report about today's experience. I made an online purchase for a kid's pizza meal, 2 sandwiches and a Cinnabon for a pick up around 7:40 this evening. I drove up thinking I could make the pick up at drive thru but when I drove up, it looked empty and almost as if the store was closed. I decided to pull up and walk inside. I was met by someone manning the door who was handing a bag out to another customer, and it dawned on me that it looked like the store appeared to be close, but I later realized they were likely understaffed and unable to fully run the store appropriately even though the store was open for another hour. I was allowed in but the door was closed behind me and I later realized the door was locked as another customer behind me attempted to open the door. When I asked if my order was ready, the response I got was "oh we just got it". I arrived at 7:41 for a 7:39 pick up. I waited patiently and it appeared there was only one employee left working who was obviously making the food. I didn't want to complain or do anything to possibly sabotage the meal so I patiently waited and finally got my bag a little after 7:50pm. There was no cookie or milk with my kid's meal, no Cinnabon, and my oldest daughter's ham sandwich which was specifically ordered without condiments (she wanted it plain and dry) online but served fully dressed.. The poor employee was obviously overwhelmed making the meal late and I know it wasn't her fault the store was understaffed. But I paid for a meal and did not get all my items. Because the door was locked behind me I didn't feel I could bring up the missing items for fear that the employee would possibly retaliate as she just scrambled to make the main part of my order. It looks like the review from 4 days ago is correct. It's sad this location seems to be going downhill. Buyer beware, this store steals from its customers. I ordered a deluxe original and received a regular original. I called the site to discuss the issue and was met with hostility and defensiveness. The GM Brandi was not very receptive to my call, she tried to explain to me what went into the sandwich and I told her that what I received was not what I ordered. She vehemently denied any wrong doing and became unpleasant. I ask for her GM she told me she was the GM, I asked for her bosses name and number and she gave it to me. I wasn't asking for anything free, heck I never got that far to explain why I called, all I wanted is for her to know what happen so it would be addressed. This location has changed hands several times. They no longer do "kids eat free on Sundays". A/c is out as of June '24 and it is uncomfortable in the dining room. It took a long time for our order to come and then part of it was incorrect. They did bring a free Cinnabon for the mistake, which was kind. But with the sharp increase in the prices I doubt we will be back. read more

I'd like to inform the public that this location has new owners for about 4 months now, they are the most unprofessional people I've come across especially Julio. From not caring about the store the customers or employees, licenses are not up to date the store has failed inspection. There has been no pest control in the last 4 months. 2 ceiling leaks inside store, one above where customers order and the other in the back by where food is kept. Air conditioning in dining area has been out for a month. Since the new owners this place has gone downhill, what a shame so much potential let go. Be careful with purchasing food here. read more

It sucks to see just how much this place has gone downhill since it opened years ago. The drive thru is a joke. You have to scream your order to be heard, just for some guy who is barely speaking above a whisper to say "can you repeat that" MULTIPLE times. They are missing an obscene amount of ingredients, and instead of crossing out menu items that are no longer available due to the lack of ingredients, they just put a list at the front next to the menu and have YOU do the math on what you can and can't order. Once you actually get to the window where they hand you your food, multiple people will come and ask you what you ordered, as though everyone working inside the building is forbidden from communicating with one another. After all of this, they are incapable of getting orders correct, even when they are ordered EXACTLY how they are on the menu with no substitutions. I will say the quality of the food is not discernibly better or worse that it always has been, but this isn't the same restaurant that I used to have so many fond memories of! Ugh. read more

You can drive right past this location if you aren't looking out for it. It's in a very small corner in a shopping center. At least they have a drive thru right? Well that used to be my thought. I went in this weekend. First there was no one at the counter. When this guy finally arrived he looked life less. Like he didn't care. Eyes were red for what ever reason. I placed my order and waited normally. Half of my order is given to me. The other half is completely forgotten about. I have to wait around to get someone's attention. It was the same guy. I then asked him if he is getting the other half of my order ready. In a very odd tone he asks if I paid for it. Wait what?! He took my whole order and charged me. I don't understand what is going on. Others are asking this guy for things and he is just blitzed out of his mind it seems. He walked around like a zombie ignoring questions he was being asked. I finally get my full order and leave. I picked up some Cinnabons while I was there. Big mistake. They were so undercooked and gooey. If I didn't live so far away I would have gone back but for now I'll warn people to avoid this location for a while. You may not have the same luck I did but I don't plan on going back. Today I canceled my account with Grubhub After a delivery from this location. Too often, as was the case today, food was delivered cold and soggy as the driver made a stop (or two) before delivery to my door. I am approximately 1.5 miles from the selected restaurant but the driver decided to deliver to an address over 10 minutes southwest of the eatery. After delivery and a 15 minute drive back north the food was no longer appetizing. The delivery competition has never done this to me before and I will utilize their services in the future rather than endure this issue again and again. read more

We called Easter Sun morning for a catering order and Rolando "Nano" graciously took the order. The food was ready when we arrived for pickup. The family loved the 2 trays of Turkey original! It was pouring rain yesterday and I was in need of a quick bite to eat and soup. Fortunately I was driving by and noticed that Schlotzsky's had a drive thru. I hadn't been to one in a long time and decided to go with the grilled cheese on pretzel bread and tomato soup. I got the 1/2 & 1/2 special. They warned me the sandwich was half and boy were they not playing. The sandwich came with bacon, avocado and cheese so more like an "adult grilled cheese" but it was a really small half. It was delicious and so was the soup just think next time I'll get the full sandwich. I also cheated and got a mini cinnamon roll since they have Cinnnabon products offered there as well. It was sooooo good, worth every calorie. I had a good experience, I just always have a problem with how much Schlotzky costs verse what you get. We went here last night for a pastrami and swiss. Didn't look at the sandwich till later. It wasn't what we ordered. It was mostly roast beef. Big difference. My boyfriend took it back today and expected an apology and a free sandwich as that is what we were given before when our order was wrong. However the manager was unapologetic and said he would only give a cinnabon. He was rude and we will not go back to this location. I strongly suggest if you want your order correct and want to be treated fairly as a customer to go somewhere else. It was wrong in the first place to make the sandwich incorrectly but then to not care is horrible customer service. I called there to find out the manager's name. He told me his name is Nelson Guido. I have always been a fan of this restaurant chain. To die for! However, while on a small business trip I decided to stop at this location. The inside is gorgeous and I love the ritzy look. The girl at the counter, however, did not really peak my interest. She told me to hang on while she stood there and finally rolled her eyes and asked what I wanted. I asked a couple of questions since they have redone their menu since I last ate there, and she huffed and told me it was all explained on the small board in front of me on the counter. So I ordered, and customized what I wanted and she just seemed very frustrated like she just did not have time for me. My first time at this location. The guy behind the counter was not a people person. He could barely make eye contact and was so soft spoken I could barely understand him. I ordered a medium deluxe original on pumpernickel with no onions. He rang me up without asking about chips or a drink. I had to tell him what else I wanted. Then I looked at my receipt and it said sourdough. I asked about it and then he told me they "don't have pumpernickel ". I asked if they were out, then he said yes. When I got my sandwich, nice they bring it to your table, it had onions on it. I watched three other orders go back because they were messed up. They same guy was good at cleaning the dining area. He either needs people skill training or to be kept away from customers. The sandwich was ok. Weird since I had never had one on sourdough before. I had to rebuild it because everything was in a lump in the center of the bread. All in all, a sub par Shlotsky's experience. read more

This is my fave location. I get great customer service most of the time. The food is always cooked to my preference and done correctly on the first time and it's hot and fresh. I love that they put a pickle spear on the side. I just love pickles and it really goes well with whatever food item I get. The dining room is large and is clean and they have plenty of trash cans available. I also love the patio outside so I can enjoy my meal outdoors on nice days. read more

Finally made it to Schlotzsky's after people repeatedly telling me they were soooo good. I got a French dip sandwich on a pretzel bun and of course a Cinnabon. I know because it's been that long since my last visit and it's the same sign on the door. This is the best Schlotzsky's in DFW!! The sandwiches are always cooked exactly right with slightly toasted edges. There is free wi-fi with 2 free usage computers. There is live music on Wednesdays. There are 2 large LCD screens with sports and news. They also serve Cinnabon rolls. Always extremely clean. read more
