Man these guys were great! I tried the Lonestar quesadilla which had a bbq brisket in it with some red onion and cilantro. I asked for it extra crispy which they did for me. I was pleasantly surprised with the jalapeno ranch dipping sauce. That stuff is crack!!! I ordered the limeade and it's basically better than a lemonade! I like that they give seasoned fries as the default instead of chips, which I guess you can ask for, but I loved the frie I can't wait to go back. Cool vibe here. I mostly go through the drive through when I come here but this time I chose to suit down and eat. Fun and welcoming vibe . Jonathan made sure all of our beds were met and he provided exceptional customer service . So many options to choose from regarding quesadillas . I have mostly stayed within my comfort zone and my go to option is the plain-o steak quesadilla meal which includes seasoned fries and a drink. They have limeades here which is a plus but the authenticity of the limeade , I'm a little unsure . You get a nice sized meal and you walk out feeling satisfied , not heavy feeling at all. Nice spacious environment with good decor. Music is playing softly in the background and it is not a noisy ambiance whatsoever. I throughly enjoyed my meal and I got a chance to try the different sauces available . The jalapeño ranch and creamy churri were top favs. They also have vegetarian options and a southwest salad . I went in here for lunch. I stopped in and went to the restroom and washed my hands first on my way in one of the employees was coming out of the stall and did not wash her hands. when I mentioned this to the manager after I watched the employee packed five other people's orders and handle mine, she stated that they had hand sanitizer which goes against all health code for food service workers. this is disgusting and this could kill somebody that had in a weekend immune system. I'm now a fan of Dillas! I heard they are opening one closer to me awhile back, so I wanted to come try it while in the area. I did a build a dilla to split with my kiddo, which we made as close to a street taco in quesadilla form. It was really good!!! They have an larger option that looks huge, that we may get when we have more of our family members to eat with us. As a bonus surprise, the fries are pretty decent as well! Dillas is already expensive and I don't even mind because it's worth it. When you go through Uber they obviously charge extra and I usually don't go through Uber because they seem to leave a lot out on the food. My husband wasn't that hungry and this is half of his steak and cheese quesadilla with one bite! Barely any cheese or steak and it was like $10 for this! They also barely gave us any fries! For me, it's hard visiting DFW and not eating at Dillas at least once during my visit. This was my first visit to this Plano location. I was headed over to the Frisco location and found this location was much closer to my hotel. After walking in, I was unenthusiastically greeted. The person behind the counter wasn't very engaging, he just stood behind the counter like a deer in headlights staring at me. It was a little awkward, but I chalked it up to just being his personality. After placing my order, I found a table and sat down. A few minutes later, my name was called. Love the speedy service! I was pleasantly surprised by this fast food chain. The quesadillas were good size and had plenty of fixings inside. They did not skimp on the meat. My wife and I split both steak and the chicken and honestly we'd go back. I really wanted to try this place as it seems really popular around the Dallas area and of course I love Mexican food. I immediately checked online to see what was the favorite meals and decided to go with a quesadilla specifically I chose the Hot Hatch, no bacon. I personally didn't feel like it was necessary. I really enjoyed it. Simple and spicy but really good. The cheese hit right and I love that they use ground beef that doesn't seem like it's grade F lol I wish I took pictures. I'll come back and edit this review and add pictures. Next time I go and next time I plan to try the queso which looks really good. I also read the story of how the business came to be, which was really cool on the wall really impressed with the founder in the story. I super enjoyed this little fast food shop, and I was surprised to learn they only have a few locations in North Texas and Louisiana! I liked their southern/Texas themed foods. We got the Hot Hatch (hatch green chile peppers, bacon, cheese, jalepeno ranch) and the Founder (mushrooms, peppers, onions, cheese, creamy cherry sauce). A regular sized quesadilla (1 tortilla folded) is enough for 1 person, but I definitely would order the gorilla style if I am hungrier (x2). Every once in a while, a restaurant doesn't do a satisfactory job. Sometimes, you leave feedback for management and don't get any response. It happens. But, this time, it happened at one of my faves, where they always seemed to care about good service and quality products. At least, up to now. I decided to try the Dillas Frito Pie Quesadilla. I placed an order online and was given a target pickup time, with a text coming when it would be ready for pickup. Paying ahead by credit card makes things quicker at the counter and I left a tip on the tab, to help out the staff. I parked at the front and it was a minute after the target time. No text. Waited another 5 minutes. No text. So, I went inside. The guy at the counter told me that my quesadilla wasn't made because they were out of chili sauce. Then, he just looked at me. It was uncomfortable. We were both wearing masks, so it was hard to read anything from his blank stare. No apology and no offer of a substitution. No answer to my question of why I didn't get a text that there was a problem with my order (they weren't busy at the time). I finally drew out from him optional sauces (buffalo or barbecue), followed by more blank stare. Trust me, it was awkward. I asked for buffalo sauce and waited for them to make it. Still, no apology. When I got to the car, I got the text that informed me that my order was ready. Great. When I got home, I found that there was no receipt on my bag. Why did I leave a tip for good service before any service was rendered?? The quesadilla was moderately good. The chili cheese fritos added some crunch to the hamburger, but the ingredients were pretty skimpy. The buffalo sauce gave it a little kick, but it probably would have been better with chili sauce. It seems odd that a restaurant that makes nothing but quesadillas wouldn't have enough chili sauce. I left feedback on the Dillas website, but got nothing back. Five days later, I tried again through their email receipt. That was 5 days ago and still no response. Did Dillas change management? Has the company been sold? Beats me, but I bought my own chili cheese fritos and I've been making great frito pie quesadillas in my kitchen for the last couple of weeks. read more

Got delivery of Dillas via Door Dash and had a great meal! I tried the Black & Blue Primo Dilla and it was the perfect portion for one person. It wasn't overly blue-cheesy and I loved the creamy churri sauce for dipping. I would definitely order this again! We also had some gorilla fries on the side, which are basically french fries with cheese. The queso was good and fries were pretty basic. It will satisfy your cheese fry craving. The citrus corn salad was a letdown and even... well, not enjoyable. It sounded like a great, fresh, and refreshing side to an otherwise heavy meal. The salad was sitting in a watery pool, which I was hoping was lime juice but it was more like... just corn-flavored water. This side is a skip. I wanted to like it. I was starving after an appointment nearby, so I came in for a quick lunch on a Monday afternoon. Parking lot was empty. First time here, so I ordered the Bluebonnet (veggie) Quesadilla. Served very quickly with Creamy Churri dip. I also got some salsa. The quesadilla was cut into 4 triangles. Two of them only had filling in the top half, only melted cheese in the larger half (base) of the triangle. But the worst part was that it was impossible to pick a piece up without lots of oil and water from the veggies dripping constantly. My fingers were so gross I could not take a picture. When you drive by Dillas you can't miss the blue and neon colors of the shop. It gives you ultimate 90s vibes. Since we're all sheltered in place, I went through the drive through and asked what the best sellers were which were the Founder (chicken and portabello) and the Lonestar (brisket) with Gorilla chips (basically nachos). They have other quesadilla options that I'll definitely come back for on a cheat day like the Beast (French fries + brisket) The quesadillas were super good and simple. The founder was my favorite! The gorilla chips left a lot to be desired but I'm not sure if it's because I picked it up from the drive thru instead of eating in.
