Food came out pretty quickly. Lemonade was very good/tenders hot and tender and love the dipping sauce. Again disappointed with the fries-not much/not crispy and alot were tiny 1/2" to 1" -bottom of the bag??? Why lost 1 star. This is one of the older locations for Cane's and it's still excellent even after all these years. It's pretty straight forward. You order some chicken, wait an incredibly short amount of time (mine was 2 minutes) and then enjoy your delightfully tender Tenders! I am extremely disappointed with the service at this location. My beautiful girlfriend was treated with zero respect by an employee (described as a white female, approximately 5'5", with black hair). Not only was this staff member incredibly rude when taking the order, but she actually yelled at my girlfriend, claiming she was "too busy" to be professional. To make matters worse, she rudely tossed hot sauce packets at her Being busy is never an excuse for bullying customers or aggressive behavior. We usually enjoy Cane's, but this experience was toxic. In my opinion, it does vary because the canes by my office in North Dallas is always on point. This is my second review they went from 3 stars to 1 star they are gradually getting worse in quality. Funny that this is the only entre they sell, but it's very good and very popular. The chicken is lightly battered and cooked hot and tender. The dipping sauce is delicious. The fries are crispy on the outside and tender inside. The bread is soft and buttery. The slaw is creamy and crisp. Try the lemonade. It's a good alternative to the standard carbonated beverages. Each piece of chicken used to be the size of the toast, now they're maybe only half that. The flavor is gone as well. The chicken is blander and the fries were stale and hard. I have nothing but good things to say about this Cane's! During quarantine this has rapidly become one of our go-to fast food places. We visit multiple times a month. They are open late and always have hot, fresh food and quick service. When I say quick, I mean QUICK! Seriously! It is easy to make substitutions and I have only ever received perfect orders. The chicken here is always crispy and juicy. Sometimes the fries are hit or miss-- could be crispy on the outside or soggy, but either way, they're great dipped in Cane's sauce! Toast is always spot on. We don't get the coleslaw, so I can't comment on that. It's super easy to swap the coleslaw for an extra sauce ("no slaw extra sauce," hehe) or whatever you may want. We did our first pick up order the other day through the app, which was a little slower than the drive thru, so if the drive thru isn't crowded, I would say just stick with that. If you're going at a crowded time, be sure to enter from Park instead of Midway, because the Midway entrance tends to wrap around and get confusing. I refused to drive to this location after getting confused a few times, but I've gotten the hang of it now. Definitely a great choice if you're in the mood for fast food! read more

6-2022 - recently returned to Canes because we learned of the "naked" option. Ordered it twice now and both times were a hit. The naked strips are not breaded, they are still fried in the same oil as the breaded strips. The naked strips are small, less greasy and have less carbs. They taste just as great dipped into the canes sauce and go perfect along side the fries, toast and coleslaw. This is definitely a reason we will go back. I like how you can mix up the sides. Be sure to tell them you want the chicken naked when you order. When in the drive thru, you do have to pull over and wait, they will bring your order out to you. The naked strips are so tiny without all the breading and just as expensive, you've been warned. Give them a try and enjoy. read more

There's a lot of young people that are in there and not all but the one tonight rude and patient slightly disrespectful makes you feel unwelcome young lady dark hair. She had like a crystal necklace on don't know her name but it's not the first time it's not the second time while I'm out I go in there at night and, then I know she knows how to be polite because when she's talking with her coworkers, she has a different disposition. Tried out a different location for a quick lunch. It was almost 2pm during the week and the drive thru was about 15 cars long. They managed to serve the line quickly and I had hot and fresh 3 piece chicken box ready in no-time. My bigget pro: the coldest, best tasting, unsweet tea I've ever had. The chicken strips are large, (3 is more than enough) of all-white meat juicy chicken that is lightly breaded. The breading is not that crisp, and barely seasoned. This isn't the salty, blood pressure raising chicken strips I'm used to but a much better choice. They offer their cane sauce but to me the sauce tastes like a mayo/ketchup mix heavy on the pickle flavor so I passed on that and ate them plain. Crinkle fries are meh, but the Texas toast was very good. Overall, I was happy to try RC's again and will be back. read more

Once upon a time, the drive thru was fast, but over the months, it has really come to suck. In fact, the last time i went, the drive they was so long, I went in. I eat here pretty often for lunch because the location is so close by. Dining in is a much better experience with the customer service rather they drive-thru. There's been numerous times where I've gone to the drive thru but after I order, the employee will go silent and you'll sit there for a minute thinking they didn't hear you. After repeating my order, they'll say something snarky and make you feel kind of dumb. I'm not sure if it's the same guy that does this to me but I come here pretty much the same time every time. There's also times where they will ask me if I need ketchup, extra plastic ware and etc and I'll answer yes and get nothing.
