Forever on the hunt for a NYC style slice here in DFW. The reviews were pretty good, AND they have pretty inexpensive lunch specials. I got 2 slices (pepperoni & mushroom) and a drink for like $8, Hubbs had the pasta trio lunch special for like $12, lasagna, manicotti and ravioli with a roll and a drink. He also added a small side salad for $3 I think. I asked when the pasta arrived if it was a garlic roll and she said it wasn't. THEN she brought us over a piping hot garlic roll (super garlicky!) The slices were alright, but nothing super special. of the three pastas, I liked the lasagna the best. It is a good place to fill up on the cheap. GREAT service. read more

HORRIBLE!!! If you're looking to get a cold pizza delivered to you with a side of absolutely terrible and unprofessional customer service, this is the place. I recently ordered a pizza from here through DoorDash for the law firm I am employed in -- and mind you, I had mildly high expectations about this pizzeria as a first time customer, so of course I had the impression that the attorneys would enjoy it. There had been a large event taking place in the office, many important figures are showing up, but when it came to receiving and indulging in the pizza, turns out the pizza was ice cold. The attorneys were incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied let alone disgusted by the cold pizza. Not only does that look bad on me, but it makes this pizzeria look worse. What takes the cake is the complete lack of professionalism from the manager. I had called to make a complaint to which I was met with the manager telling me "I only make the pizza. if you have a problem with the pizza, call DoorDash", then hung up on me. So, I will say it again. If you're looking to get cold pizza, ruined expectations and equally horrible customer service. This is the right place. read more

The pizza here is phenomenal!! The crust is crispy, sauce is authentic and it does remind me of new York style pizza. I love that the owner is always there and service has always been great! When you walk in, its like youre taken back to a 90s style pizzeria, which I love. You can dine in or take out as usual. I had got good pizza here years ago but last time is probally the last. The first thing I noticed was a backed up sewer drain smell that was enough to ruin any dining experience. The second problem was the loud spanish being shouted in the kitchen. The man had no idea how unpleasant it is to be forced to listen to. The large dead cock roach under the booth was the least problem compared with the smell and sounds. Any restaurant should smell appetizing, not like a sewer. I made the mistake of constantly checking all the latest the magazine articles on people claiming to have found true New York style pizza. What a sham! Every five star review that I read claiming the pizza was authentic New York style was a complete farce. We ended up walking out on every place and getting a hamburger after because the pizza was so disgusting. This place is absolutely 100% New York style pizza! The slices are perfect, not too thin or thick, the right amount of cheese and grease, and perfect sauce. The garlic knots are incredible, too. I'm thoroughly disgusted that this place has not made it on any of the best pizza lists in Dallas because it is hands down the best we've had. I am surprised I am shocked that this restaurant where I usually come eat out with my parents. Their customer service is always 100% satisfaction, but not today the service at this restaurant was horrible. My parents had ordered a slice of pizza for themselves and and a salad and something to drink they got the salad and they got the drink, but they never got their pizza. They said that they waited over an hour to get any kind of attention or help and they noticed that they were serving everybody else that was in that restaurant besides them I think the owner had family members visiting his restaurant and having a good time, laughing and what not that they totally forgot about my parents and all my mom had to do was just them to refund her money back and for that I'm rating them one star! read more

Visited today, Sunday lunchtime, while in town and had a great experience. Got a warm welcome and very friendly service. We had Greek salad, and a selection of pizza slices, all of which were delicious. The pizza crust let us fold (New York style) without dropping any toppings. The fresh feta and homemade dressing on the salad were so tasty too, way above the normal sorry salads you get at most pizza places. Had some European soccer on the big screen, plus the decor and murals on the walls made it feel welcoming. Will be going back to try some of their pastas next time. Decent NY style thin crust pizza. Undercarriage was nicely toasted and give a satisfying crunch when biting into it. Maybe a little too crisp as my cheese slice broke in half. Good CCS ratio (crust, cheese and sauce) but the pepperoni had a couple soupy spots that made the crust soft on the bottom. The outside crust has a nice crunch to pillowy inside contrast, reminded me of home made bread. Three stars due to the cheese slice breaking apart and causing an ingredient slide. read more

I wanted a slice of NY style pizza so bad. I ended up using Reddit (it's that serious) for an authentic NY STYLE PIZZA place in DFW. I came across Brother's Pizza by 75 and Spring Meadow. However, it's closed on Sunday. So I like a dummy assumed they had affiliate locations in Carrollton, etc. Yeah, no. Walked in and knew it was gonna be awful when they had one pan of pizza out with 3 slices and a calzone. No illustrious display of pies like most authentic NY PIZZA PLACES. So the guy grabs me a slice and puts it in the oven to heat. And the slicked back hair gentleman, mentioned in other reviews, rings me up. Pizza ready in 3 minutes. I got in the car and this is what I saw. Guys, he sprinkled more cheese on before putting it in the oven and didn't even let it melt. This is NOT NY STYLE PIZZA mozzarella cheese! And the sauce is disgusting. The crust is so awful. Like this is worse than Dominoes or Little Cesar. And honestly I wouldn't feed this to a dog. And I'll tell you why, it was made with kindness. Anyone who knows me, for my release from the week's stress I let someone else make dinner and clean up for me on Fridays. It's my pizza Friday, very important part to the well-being of my week and my life. I was making my normal call-in order to Brother's Pizza at the last call for take out. I got a message when I called that said "this number is unreachable"!! I panicked and drove to their location to find they had been without power excepting 1 generator-powered outle, internet and phone service for most of the week following natural-disaster level storms in Dallas. Turns out the owner had been making the dough by hand all week and servicing as many people as he could without the benefit of his machine. The owner, knowing how important my Friday pizza is to me made a pizza for me after last call for takeout. Amazing, what kindness! So if you get a chance, go get a pizza from Brother's. The level of delusion it takes to rate this place a 4.6 is next level. I am throughly convinced that it only has a high rating due to the great service provided. With the very nice people that helped me it hurts me to give this place such a crappy review. I ordered a very basic cheese pizza which I picked up. Once I arrived it was hot and ready to go. The Italian looking dude in the back with slicked back hair just fit the part which ensured me this was gonna be great. To my disappointment this pizza couldn't have won a skating rink pizza cook off although it was very reminiscent of skating rink, arcade or bowling ally pizza. The sauce couldn't beat chef boy ardee, the cheese is lower quality than a lunch-able and the crust wasn't even as good as a Totinos frozen pizza. It bothered me to leave a poor review when more often than not the pizza and my experience is good. This time our pizza was underwhelming. I prefer a little more sauce and flavor.
