Decided to get the Chicken Greek salad to go and a small regular Schlotzsky's sandwich. There were 4 orders before me but I didn't have to wait too long. During my waiting time, several of the employees in the kitchen area sounded like they were arguing; they were talking very loudly! It didn't last long but seemed unprofessional to me. Friendly Service and Tasty Meal It was a dreary, super stormy day, but we wanted to pop out for a quick bite. The person who took our order was quite cheerful. And she was helpful in guiding our selections. We both chose the Pick 2 for our dinner. Here's what we got: - Strawberry Chicken Salad and Broccoli Cheese Soup - Original Sandwich and Tomato Basil Soup - Pecan Bon (takeaway for dessert at home) Our soups were served very hot - which was nice. My wife enjoyed both her sandwich and her soup. Likewise, I enjoyed my salad and my soup. The Pick 2 was the perfect amount of calories for us for dinner and I'm sure we'll enjoy that Pecan Bon tonight. Also of note, the restaurant and restroom (mens) were very clean. It was an awful bad service today. I thought would change sandwiches and just get something different. I told the girl they I absolutely love shes so nice that I wanted the same as yesterday chicken bacon and just add avocado. Well got it and wasnt any bacon on it. I asked her to put bacon she said would be couple more bucks so was getting the change to give her for it and got up my sandwich that was already here fell in floor on accident and I let them know then they manager said I got something diff than that and I am like not it had bacon and avocado. He yelled and said I always cause problems when I come there and that is so much a lie. I am always polite when I come there. He made my sandwich again and basically so fast like a mad person and just chunked it at me and told me never to come back because I asked for my sandwich like I wanted it. I just wanted to try something different and get it I go ther everyday I am a regular customer. He said I could call corporate he did not care. We continually return to Schlotzky's for the Original. It's consistently a great sandwich with delicious sourdough bread. The medium size is plenty while the larger size will give you something to look forward to for your midnight snack. They have good kid options, grilled cheese or pizzas or small turkey or ham sandwiches. The kids combo comes with a cookie and a drink. On our last visit I decided to stray from the norm and try the Green Goddess sandwich -- normally it's made with turkey but I had them substitute chicken. It's served with bacon and avocado on the sandwich and is a good, lighter option in the summer and the green goddess dressing is great. It's not as flavorful as the original -- but it's very good. From one to 10 the service was a 1 terrible from start to finish I go near the kitchen to ask one of the to the workers. Is anybody at the counter? A Skinny white Make about 6 foot said does it look like I can see from over there before going further in the kitchen and started barking like a dog so eventually, someone is able to take my order and while i was watching my order, I saw the same white Male drop my kids, cheese pizza. Terrible place very unprofessional Employee. I went in Saturday night to get some Cinnamon rolls for my children . I ask what I believe to be the manager it was a woman with blue hair I asked if they had a 6pack of cinnamon rolls . She said no and came around to the front of the counter looking at the display case and found a dry pack of cinnamon rolls at the bottom of the case near the floor. I asked could I see them and she replied they are fresh I believed her and paid for them with my hard earned money and took them out to the car to my children my daughter took one out and told me that it felt like a brick . I was upset because I was trying to make them happy . I took them back in for a refund and the guy out front asked me did I get them for that store I couldn't believe what he just asked me I told him I just bought them 3 minutes ago. He then apologized and offered to make me some more the woman with the blue hair looked upset that he was making me some fresh ones and yelled out that she had already did the refund. I told her that's fine I will pay again I charged my card again and waited 25mins .The lady with the blue hair never apologize just gave me dirty looks . One of the other employees kept apologizing I told her thank you she was very professional I didn' get her name but she took care of my order and I was very pleased how she handled it. Made an order online to pick up curbside. Showed up on time, pulled up to the designated area for pick up and called per the sign. Called three times and no pick up. I didn't bring a mask with me as this was going to be curbside pick up. They failed. I had to go in and get the order. Putting people in danger that don't want to go in to places is a horrible liability. read more
