Easy order turns hard. I'm on my lunch break. I ordered a cheese pizza with a side Caesar salad. My mistake for not checking the bag before I left. I get back to work with 30 minutes left of my lunch..only to find out that I have no Caesar salad, but Caesar dressing. Who the hell eats cheese pizza with Caesar dressing?? I look at my receipt and see that they charged me for the Caesar dressing that I didn't even order. I tried to be understanding, but "Salad" and "dressing" don't sound anything alike..so it's obvious she was not listening well. And I was the only car in the drive thru, so it wasn't as if they were slammed and rushing. I drive back up there, annoyed. I speak to the same girl who took my order and explain the issue. She takes my receipt and says "$3.56". My response "I have to pay? I didn't receive what I ordered, which lead me to have to drive back up here"..she goes to her manager and I swear I heard her say "she did say Caesar salad"...FIVE MINUTES LATER I KID YOU NOT, she says "yea it's still going to be $3.56 since we didn't charge you for it". I drove off. Call me a Karen, whatever. But y'all made a mistake, causing an inconvenience in my day and still going to make me pay for what I had originally ordered. Customer service can kick rocks. I don't even know how you get a thin crust and pan pizza crust on the same pizza but some how they have figured it out. Pizza wasn't fully cooked and cheese wasn't fully melted probably due to the inconsistent crust. Also at 1045 in the morning and only one other customer inside I'm not sure why it took more then ten minutes for a pepperoni pizza when they have 7 workers working. read more

Unbelievably filthy! When we walked up the door was so smeared, splattered and dirty I was almost afraid to touch the handle. That should have been my clue to leave! We got there at 10:45 AM for lunch. Pretty much every table in the place had crumbs on it. Don't tell me we came in AFTER the lunch rush! When my kids to went to get drinks from the touch screen machine, the screen was so incredibly grimy and filthy I had to stop them from opening their straws until I could scrub their hands. (That touchscreen drink machine is a disgusting concept all on its own, but in a place that is not kept clean it is really bad) The way the sun shined on the floors, you could see that they had not been washed in the recent past and then when we threw away our trash, the trashcan was splattered and sticky. It's worth noting that the manager's pants were so wrinkled that it's possible he has worn them for or five days in a row. Leadership starts at the top, I suppose. The food was the normal good Schlotzsky's quality, but the thought of the cockroaches who probably had a feast in this nasty place last night kind of ruined the meal. read more

So...., always enjoy the food & the svc is meh, but today I'm writing this because after purchasing food at the drive through, nature hit and as a disabled veteran with an altered body, I went into the building. As I passed the threshold the manager yelled " NO BATHROOM!" I quickly explained and was denied. So after I ran to the car, my day turned worse because of horrible impromptu decision on their part. As a patron to this establishment, I'm insulted and outraged that common courtesies like restrooms are closed due to what.......... ? If it's a sanitation problem and the staff can't have it operate with at least common courtesy it should close. Like for good, and to the insensitive management, thank you for going out of your way to burden already stressed patrons. Hopefully they adjust the practice ASAP accordingly. read more

Went in for dinner tonight. I haven't been here since they remodeled and renamed it. Now it's an Austin eatery, not sure if they know "We not in Austin!" Seems like they were going for more of a laid back college vide. Well they got it! Laid back it is. No one was in a hurry to take my order at the counter, once he arrived, he was polite. I was one of only three people in the house. Once my sandwich was made it sat on the counter for what seemed like forever before one of the guys in the back nudge the front counter guy and told him to take it to me. This isn't the same old good sandwich I was expecting. The bread was hard as a rock, the meat was minimal at most. The sweet tea was the only thing that was the usual for me. I don't think I will be going back for a $10 sandwich anytime soon. Maybe after their next remodel! Enter at your own risk. read more

Came here sick to get some soup and wasn't given a single spoon or napkin. The drive thru woman had a bad attitude problem and had to drink my soup while scalding hot. Then when asked for bonbites they proceeded they don't carries those even though it's on the menu. Won't eat here again. read more

I don't know what has happened to this place lately, but the service is bad. I have been to this place many times over the years and have had a good experience, but that has changed. I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive through lane one night. I was the ONLY car in the drive though. I am not exaggerating. I verified it with the time on the receipt. Thinking this was anomaly I went back and are in the dining room. Same problem. Still giving it one more shot my wife went there the other day and had to wait 12 minutes at the window. 106 different Coke choices seems a bit out of hand, on trend with 7-11 stores. The last Schlotzsky's Deli I had been to has been closed for years and I remembered liking it, so when I noticed this place was close by (thanks to my Yelp app) I knew where I wanted to go for lunch. The sandwiches are served warm on a toasty ciabatta style roll with sesame seeds. They have several choices of baked chips - even jalapeño, my fave! My roast beef and cheese sandwich hit the spot. This location is also a Cinnabon, selling tasty cinnamon buns if you have room for dessert. The deli also offers cookies. read more

I went in with the idea that I would tomato basil soup and a grilled cheese to dip it in. When I had ordered the cashier didn't tell me the grilled cheese already came with a soup and I ended up paying $5 for an extra soup. However, when I asked another employee about it, they were super friendly and helpful. They didn't give a second thought and immediately refunded me. Short review- Good Food. Poor customer service. Long Review- I like Schlotzsky's and have frequented their drive thru many times at various locations. I wasn't a fan of the customer service at this location. Much like other reviews, we stood at counter without being acknowledged for too long. We were the only customers in the restaurant and when our order was ready they just placed it on counter without calling our number or letting us know it was ready. We asked them if that was our food and they just looked at us and nodded yes. We grabbed our food but multiples items were wrong. I'll still go to Schlotzsky's but, may skip this location. read more

I ordered a couple of sandwiches and salads through their website thinking that they deliver. They actually sub out the deliveries to door dash. Delivery was a little slow and he wasn't wearing mask, but the food was good. Sandwiches didn't seem like the ones I remember from Schlotzsky but they were ok. I would order again. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love Schlotsky's normally. I ate at the original one in Austin in 1972, and I have been enjoying that original sandwich ever since - until today. Avoid this Schlotzsky's like the plague! My wife and I drove through and ordered a medium original and a small turkey avocado sandwich. The original was not edible. The bread seemed as if it had been soaked in water. It was mushy, very moist, and falling apart. The sandwich had meat on it, but not the other ingredients was supposed to have. The turkey avocado was not mushy, but hard and stale. It was not a turkey avocado at all. There was no avocado at all on it. It seemed as if these sandwiches had been made up a long time in advance. One had become wet and mushy, the other hard and dry. The dining room was closed for Covid! I think the dining room was closed so no one could see how they handled the food. In general I love Schlotzsky's, but this place is crap. read more

Customer service at this location IS HORRIBLE!!! Beware the cashier her name is Lauron is extremely rude and will roll her eyes at you!! She was very rude and ugly from the get go you can tell she does not like her job. It took her 20 minutes to get our Cinnabons ready, her excuse was they were out of icing!!! Went thru the drive thru at 7:30pm...after having what can only be described as a less than ideal experience, I left in absolute astonishment. The employee working the window was very unaware of his entire surroundings for lack of a better statement. Simple questions such as "what comes on the kids turkey sandwich?" and "which drinks come with a kids meal?" were followed up with blank stares of befuddlement and mumbled whispers. It's as if the words that danced off my tongue on this fateful night were "Briefly explain thermodynamics to me?" I would rather shower at Penn State than go through this process again. I would rather let Casey Anthony babysit my child than try to order from this establishment again. So in short... nah. Don't eat here. Not sure if this indicative of all Schlotzsky's or just this one. Came here to try their new Sliders. You cannot determine from the menu board what is included in each of the three types, nor is there any visible literature by the counter that describes the sliders. So I ordered my regular sandwich; small roast beef and cheese without tomatoes and pickles on dark rye. The cashier stated that they don't have roast beef and cheese. Sure they do, but it's called Angus beef and cheese. My wife presented a coupon for a Slider Meal. The cashier rang up my total and did not include the coupon, so that had to be corrected. The order came and she enjoyed her Aloha brisket sliders. My beef and cheese came on sourdough. I reviewed my receipt, and that is what was ordered. Not on dark rye which is what I stated. I've been here several times and the food is generally good but the manager 'D' or Dedrick needs to be fired. I was in the drive thru and their computer crashed. After waiting several minutes the guy told me to come inside and they would give me a discount. I went in and ordered and mentioned the discount. He said he would have to ask 'D' about it. 'D'is currently making the sandwiches. When the kid asks about the discount 'D'starts YELLING 'She's lying she's lying! No one told her that'. First of all who needs to lie to save $2? Second of all, the appropriate response would be for 'D' as the mgr to come and tell me in a calm and professional manner that they were unable to provide the discount. I ordered a lrg. original sandwich and lrg. drink the cashier rang up my order and charged my CC five times because he couldn't change the paper correctly. The manager (Richard) helped him finally. When I checked my card online it showed the 5 charges. I called and they refused to refund my money. They accused us of actually buying 5 lrg sandwiches and 5 lrg drinks since all five charges were identical (14.05). We actually bought 4 separate orders which included 2 lrg sandwiches, one regular sandwich and a salad with 2 lrg drinks. The other 3 CC were charged correctly. read more
