You're better off with a day old sandwich from the Speedway. Today I ordered online. I tried to add a reward which was a bag a chips. However, there was an error and I couldn't add it. So I arrived at the location explained what the deal was and showed my app - in not so many words I was told I was SOL. As for the sandwich, it was "meh" and whoever made it had a rubber wrist - they barely managed to cut past the top slice of bread. I never review places on Yelp unless they are really good or really bad. I've been to this chain before around 10 years ago. I know that food prices and labor prices have gone up significantly. This location is abysmal and they clearly don't care. I ordered a giant pastrami on rye with a Cinnabon. I showed up at 10:50 when they open at 10:30 to pick up my online order. There was another couple trying to go through the drive through and we eventually met by the locked doors. The one guy working was outside smoking a joint and took around 5 minutes to let us in. My Reuben was on the wrong bread, and the Cinnabon was clearly hard enough to be from days ago. This place is a money grab on a name that used to mean quality. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Mcalisters deli. read more

Only rated this place 1 star because I'm not able to select 0 stars. Service was horrible! Waited more than 30 minutes for our food in the drive thru. Repeated my order 4 times at the drive thru and repeated my order again at the payment window - still go my order wrong. This will be my first and last time coming to this location. Also, please wear gloves when preparing my food. read more

I have a coupon for a free entree at Schlotzsky's. So I perused the nutrition information and it blew my mind. They have 2 large sandwiches that has sodium between 5000 and 6000mg!! Calorie counts were high, too if you order large sandwiches. If you're concerned about heart health and high blood pressure you want to stay clear of this place. Your sodium for the day should be no more than 2500mg/day. Salad options are available, however. Just one more fast food restaurant pushing unhealthy food. Needless to say, I won't be going there anytime soon. read more

Big, giant sandwiches, insanely good! I even had the "healthy" turkey sandwich and had to take a nap. I can't imagine eating one of the bigger ones. Way better than any of the other sandwich chains. read more

I have missed these guys since they left the Mid-West and headed back to the Southwest. So much so that I go out of my way to get me an Original sammie while on my many drives from IL to AZ! This new one in Naperville is, like I said, NEW so please cut them some slack and wait 'til they've been in business for a few months before going there if you're just going to whine about them being slow or getting orders wrong. Avoid at all costs!! I waited inside for 45 minutes only to find out they lost my order. If you were lucky enough to actually get something you still had to wait 30+ minutes. I'm from New Mexico and have been craving Schlotzsky's since 2000 when I moved to Illinois. For some reason I randomly searched Schlotzky's location near me and found one had opened in Naperville. I drove the 2 hours just to get my fix. I promise if you have never tried this sandwich you are missing out. I met the sweetest lady that took my order this morning and she said I can see the excitement in your face and smile. I'm sad I forgot her name. But I was so wrapped up in taking a bite of that sandwich I couldn't even remember my own name at that point lol. read more

So pumped that a Schlotzsky's opened so close to us! We love their sandwiches and pizzas, so yummy. The owner is very nice and gave warning that it might be a long wait because they are Brand New and training employees, understandable! We got all our food, it was correct and delicious. I hate giving 2 stars to my favorite place ((27 yrs ago))..I am writing this review after several visits for my team..aNd we are always missing an item or get the wrong sandwich. I know they are new & all are very nice, but today when our driver brought back the sandwiches, the replacement sandwich that was forgotten the day before is wrong again! I guess we will never get the French dip. We received a Original Turkey instead, for our French dip replacement after being in line & waiting over an hour. And multiple times when we order the Turkey club we get the Original((and olives are not favored around here)). It's too hard to fix the multiple wrongs when wait is so long & it's frustrating waiting to receive wrong/missing items! They all are very kind & I hope they can figure things out! We were all very excited to see they were coming here, but I think it's time to take a break.! read more

I was excited to see Schlotzsky's return to the area after so many years. Unfortunately, what I remember about the place is very different. The bread doesn't have the same beautiful texture and taste and the meat quality seems awfully degraded. We ordered the original pastrami sandwiches, which were so salty and oily we couldn't eat them. Very disappointed! When you wait 30 minutes to get them and get all the way home to find out your cravings just got body slammed makes you say words not repeatable on Yelp! Maybe I'll wait a few months to allow them to get their stuff together before I try them again. But then again, maybe not! read more

Schlotzsky's is back in IL. We stopped there during their soft opening and I have to say the owners (husband and wife) are the nicest people you will meet. They only had the drive tru open for soft opening and even though there was a wait, it was well worth it. If you like Schlotzsky's, then make sure you visit them. read more

I am a big schlotshys fan and was so excited to find one in Illinois again. I drove an hour to pick up some sandwiches I couldn't be more disappointed. the original sandwiches were at best OK. the half piece of cotto salami on one of the sandwitches just didn't cut it. And I'm wondering why was there olives on the turkey bacon club? The sandwiches were so pooorly put together and one had so much mustard on it that's all you could taste. last time I'll visit this store. read more

Followup to previous review--after my husband wrote an email to corporate about my experience as well as the fact that the online menu picture of the Turkey Cobb salad had carved Turkey on it instead of processed smoked Turkey which he doesn't eat (diabetic), we immediately got an email from the store owner with an apology and refund. So the good thing is that they did make things right. Anyway, I can say my son enjoyed his potato soup and sandwich, and I wish this establishment luck. read more
