Went due to a Tmobile promotion where we got a free small sandwich with a Medium drink purchase. The size of the medium drink was very large. The original price for the small sandwich is usually 7.99. I personally got the turkey avocado sandwich; for the price, it was very small. The sandwich bread was sourdough, but it was soft. There wasn't much avocado in the sandwich and around 3-4 pieces of turkey. It left me wanting more, so I caved and I got a Cinnabon (center of the roll). The Cinnabon was very good and they gave us frosting on the side as well. If I had to pay for the sandwich, I probably would not get it again. Would come again for the dessert, though! read more

The lady at the counter was very rude and curt. She acted like everything was a problem. I ordered a salad and flatbread. She tossed it into a sack and tossed in on the counter to me. No forks no nothing- when I Asked for them ( it was to go) she seemed very put out. I feel they are on the high side for price for lunch, but they definitely need better attitudes. read more

This is quite possibly the worst food we've had since moving to Texas. We ordered 4 sandwiches for take out and none of the 4 were good. The temperatures were off- the sandwiches weren't heated evenly. One tasted burnt but was cold to the touch. Unfortunately, the bread overpowered anything on the sandwich and didn't taste good, either. Another wasn't the correct toppings. It was bad enough that it's become a family joke. On the hunt for Cinnabon on a Sunday morning. The first problem is they don't open until 10am... so we wait. Pull into the drive through at 10:02am and they're still not open. Drive around front and thankfully the front door is unlocked... but all the lights are off. Staff is scurrying about working but completely oblivious to customers starting to file in. First in line to order and there's only one box of day-old Cinnabons ready on the shelf. A few trays of assorted sized Cinnabons are on the counter, but all unfrosted and unboxed. I place my order but have to wait 15 minutes for them to finish frosting and packaging what they had available. So much for a quick run for breakfast treats. read more

Schlotzky's is my favorite restaurant. I always get a turkey and cheese nothing else on it and it is absolutely delicious. I hate lettuce but this time around, I'm very picky and there were bits of lettuce all around, like they got stuck on the gloves or something. I picked them off but it still taste lettuce-like from the juices. I cannot eat it so it was a complete waste of money. I am very disappointed that they wasted my money. The service was fine. Why can't I give minus stars? I pick up an online order after they open, and I overhear the staff obviously making fun of my appearance. It's pride month, so I went with purple hair. I see folks on the assembly line looking back up at me, laughing. Then someone starts singing the Barney song. I guess I went with Barney purple? Not really anyone's place to make fun of. I was the only customer in the restaurant, and the only woman, from what I observed. When I get rung out, the person decides he wants to crumple up my receipt and throw it out. This location is such a pain in the butt to get to, but once you get here, it's such a nice restaurant. The layout is very open with a lot of natural lighting. From pizzas to burgers, I've never had a bad item here. And they also have a mini Cinnabon section, very conveniently placed right next to where you order and pay for your food (nicely played Schlotzsky's...nicely played). The staff at this location are awesome. They're all very personable and friendly and that I can recall, I've never had a wrong order here. They also now offer mobile (or web) ordering so you can place your order online and it can be ready to go inside or via the drive thru whenever you're ready for it. I've now used this a couple of times with no issues. And they read the comments you leave on things too!!! I know that seems small, but you'd be shocked by how many restaurants just skim thru your order and they miss comments about how you want things made or extra condiments, etc. Not these guys. In addition to being easier and more accurate, you also get rewards towards free food and other discounts. I also love all the snarky Schlotzsky's one-liners around the store like the drink section says Lotz of drink on the rocks and there's one localized on that says that they love being in Leon Springs lotz or something to that affect. It's a personable and localized touch to a very national chain that lets them know they appreciate being a part of your community. If you're looking for a great burger, the Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich is a winner with a pretzel bun and marina (more like tomato basil soup imo) dipping sauce. The pizzas are also fairly good. And if you want to treat yourself without feeling guilty, a mini bon is a great compliment (yes they got me). BTW LOVE your guys' ice and drinks lotz! read more

So I had a really bad day and I was looking forward to having my fav sandwich - Schlotzsky's. I ordered and drove away. At other drive through I check my order but didn't because this Schlotzsky's never messes up. When I got home, my order was wrong. Soup instead of a sandwich. I called the restaurant. Paul, the manager, answered and asked how he could make my day "lotz" better. I was a little short with him (Sorry Paul!) and told told him what happened. He looked up my order and asked how he could make it right. I said he could deliver my sandwich, thinking that would never happen. He said "give me 30 minutes". 25 minutes later, Paul himself showed up at my door with a freshly made sandwich and a few extras. Thank you Paul! I'm a fan! read more

Stopped inside for the first time and was pretty surprised by how clean the interior was. Not that I've been to a messy location but still, appreciated the overall cleanliness. Manager was at the cashier. Friendly and solid service. Best sourdough I'd had from a schlotzkis before which led to this review. Didn't even snap a photo cause I ate the sandwich too fast! Schlotskys makes the best sandwiches, I've been eating them since I was a kid. My son loves the cheese pizza and they also make a mean salad and raspberry tea I crave!! I particularly loved this location because I would grab dinner after my nail appointment from their neighboring nail salon "Venetian" SAD DAY! I've noticed they have been closed the past few months and this afternoon when I went to check again a "for lease" sign was in the window :(.... Order a new calzone French dip and was very clear I wanted no mushroom or onions. Repeated myself and verified it was only meat and cheese and I got confirmation of that. I get home and realize they packed no aus juice for the French dip. Pretty vital part for me. I go back and get the juice, but with my drive back and forth sandwich was not as fresh and I asked them to remake. A little kickback, but they ended up making it. I confirmed when they brought it out that it was made like previous one with just meat and cheese and they said no I didn't mention that. I figured they would've communicated how my previous one was, but my fault for assuming. At this point I'm tired of waiting and just agree to eat the original one even though it had cooled down. I get home take a few bites to realize there was onion in my sandwich. When I confirmed the original order twice. Just incredibly disappointed. Wish I didn't waste driving there twice. Lady who remade order was very nice and offered to make it again when I mentioned the onions and mushrooms, but I let it go assuming first sandwich was made how it was supposed to. Even fast food restaurants need to pay attention to cleanliness! Wiping the table does not cut it. When you wipe the table the crud goes on the seats and in the space between the bottom and seat back. Not appetizing- and neither is seeing food crumbs and dead flies on the window sills. I went through the drive-thru to get dinner. Unfortunately I completely forgot to transfer money into my card's account beforehand, so it was declined. The girl at the window who told me that, was very sweet about it. I said I was going to quickly transfer the money in to pay for it through my banks's app. But after only about 30 seconds, she let me know that her manager went ahead and comped the meal for me. I told her that was very nice, but she could go ahead and re-swipe my card, since it would now work. She said it was already taken care of and was no problem. I just wanted to share this, since it was such a nice, unexpected thing for them to do. :-) They didn't have to do this, but it totally made my day. After myself working several years in restaurants and retail management, I especially appreciate customer service that goes way beyond the norm. Oh...and the food was great too! :- D read more
