They're open late, which is great if you're craving a cookie after the show. Appreciate they have 1 vegan option. The cookie was fine but nothing special. Small amount of searing.

I heard Schmackary's cookies were pretty good, but I am sad to say they did not live up to the hype. They had a cute space inside with some stools in front of the window. They had a nice display of cookies and even offer ice cream. The cookies were underwhelming. It didn't help that there was no other customer at the time of visit, so it looked like a ghost town. I wouldn't be surprised if there were flies in their bakery case. It is nice that they have deals when buying two, six, or twelve cookies though. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. No bathroom. No Wifi.

Cookies and snacks in Union Sq. area. It's about 3 mins walk from 14st station. I feel each day they offer different cookies. I would check the website or call if you are looking for the specific flavor. The classic chocolate chip cookies are always available. I had the classic, it was pretty good. I like the salt on top so it was not over sweet. Chill and neat vibe in the store. Take out only. Nice staff at the counter. Easy and quick snack/dessert place for the neighborhood.

I've been to the Schmackary's on Long Island & saw this was on my walk back to Penn Station so I had to stop in for a maple blondie! The man behind the counter was super friendly and when I mentioned how I had been to the other location he was asking how I like that location. The maple blondie was delicious as always, I would have gotten some cookies but I was full from a lunch I was coming back from.

Well, well, well isn't this one of the best additions to Union Square?? I have only been to one of these stores in Midtown and since being in Midtown is the worst place on earth I couldn't be happier that this location opened as of 2/1/25. The two gentlemen working this morning were absolutely delightful and happy to engage when I was hemming and hawing about what cookie to get. They convinced me to get a corn cookie? And they were right. It truly was spectacular. It's not too sweet and legit taste like corn and I never thought I would enjoy a cookie with corn. To balance it out I got a plain chocolate chip cookie, which is also delicious but if you're feeling on the fence... Take a risk and try one of their specialty cookies. I see why the corn one is a fan favorite! 5/5 for the customer service 5/5 for the cookies

was so excited to try this place but it didn't live up to its hype :( first heard about this chain on the show only murders in the building. got their snickerdoodle cookie and it was very yummy but not spectacular. sad that it wasn't warm or chewy :( will stop by to try another flavor and ask for it heated next time!

Got a few cookies and a rice crispy from here it's meh. Didn't like the green tea, nor confetti or their rice crispy. But their carrot cake seasonal cookie took the spotlight. They are all too sweet. But the carrot cake cookie was pretty good. The second star was just for the carrot cake cookie.

Friendly service. The scmackaroon was really big and good. The candy bar cookie was really sweet and chewy. Hardly any seating, just a bar seating at the window

I wish I weren't so impatient and snapped a few shots of the cookies before stuffing myself, like Cookie Monster, but the scent flowing from the shop was already tempting enough and I couldn't wait. Ever have one of those nights where you're channeling Vice President Kamala Harris and saying to yourself (or to a friend), "You don't want anything sweet? Get something sweet?" (Reference: https://youtu.be/rfSoN5pKo6U) That was me, strutting into Schmackary's Cookies off Union Square. And to make matters worse, or better, depending on who you ask, they were closing up soon, when we walked in, and there was a BOGO sale. The staff were friendly despite it almost being closing time and there was a chill vibe in then shop, complete with acoustic renditions of popular songs. Listening to a guy singing Dancing Queen was sending me. It was hard to just choose two cookies but eventually I settled on red velvet and macadamia nut. They both passed the vibe check. My friend went a for the more traditional route and had oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip. Disclaimer: I didn't taste them but he insisted I write that he enjoyed them, in my review . (Context: He doesn't have Yelp. 'Boooo! Tomato, Tomato.' lol.) To recap: * We craved something sweet. * The aroma welcomed us in. * The cookies looked mouth-watering on the counter. * The staff was super friendly for the end-of-day shift. * There was a sale at the store. * They warmed up the cookies (forgot to include that above). * We had two amazing cookies, each, that resulted in instant bliss. I'll be back soon.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

I probably never leave reviews in general, especially negative ones, but this experience was so…read moreegregious that I honestly felt like I had to say something. I've worked in restaurants and bars long enough to understand that staff drinking happens, but this was on another level entirely. I came in with a group of friends and one of the bartenders, Will, was so visibly drunk that it made the entire experience uncomfortable. Slurred speech, wobbling behind the bar, taking orders while chewing food with his mouth open -- it was honestly embarrassing to watch. He looked like he absolutely did not want to be there. At one point, my group had been trying to get his attention for another round for quite a while while he stood around talking with coworkers. We then watched staff take a shot together, and when he finally came over he burped mid-conversation and literally had whatever he had just been drinking dribbling down his neckbeard. That was the moment where the whole thing went from unprofessional to just gross. What made it worse was that it didn't seem isolated to one employee. Throughout the night we watched staff openly taking shots and drinking behind the bar like it was a house party instead of a business. There's a difference between bar culture and complete lack of professionalism, and this crossed that line hard. One of the friends I was with actually frequents the DUMBO location and said that the last time she was there, the same bartender also seemed intoxicated, which makes this feel less like a bad night and more like an ongoing issue. The DUMBO location itself is in an amazing spot, which makes it even more disappointing. But ownership seriously needs to get control of what's going on there before someone gets hurt or the place develops a reputation for having drunk staff on the clock. Unfortunately, the experience was uncomfortable enough that my girlfriends and I won't be coming back. I genuinely hope the employee mentioned gets help if this is a regular thing, because nobody should be working service in that condition.
