This was a super nice bakery, with their modern wooden style interior and huge beautiful display of all their pasties, bakeries and cookie products. They also had a large variety of hot and cold drinks. In the shelves they also had their coffee and merchandise products as well. There was some seating space by both the glass windows. Levain has been on my NYC bucket list for the longest time, and we finally made it there... but after all the hype, I can't say it lived up to our expectations. We had one at its peak outside of the store, but my husband I both looked at each other after we had a bite and wondered where the flavor was. It fell very flat for us unfortunately. It honestly was more like a scone than a cookie. We took the rest home and microwaved them to bring them back to life, but we're just shocked at the lack of flavor. Adding flaky salt on top helps.
