It is a couple of minute walk to the concert spot - no big deal. Tonight's theme: Lights. Camera. Movie Music - Yana Reznik- Piano We planned to eat the the food trucks that are there. There was only one this night, India Jones Chow Truck. I happen to love Indian so that worked out great. We brought a bottle of wine and a couple of blankets with us. We found a great spot on the lawn. The stage was lit beautifully and the sound was wonderful (see my video). It is fantastic that you can bring your dogs and so many people did. Lots of children as well. Everyone had a great time! This is a free event because it is sponsored. I have been to the LA Philharmonic Walt Disney Concert Hall several times to see/hear different genres of music from ballet, to symphony, to jazz, and of course classical music, and during the holidays they give a great performance by their choir. Those of you who know me, know I love classical music and do have my favorite composers: Chopin, Vivaldi and Mozart. On Sunday, March 29th at 7:30pm my friend and I went to see Strauss, Bruch, & Moussa's elegant, classy performance that shook up the whole entire venue and the audience. It was just MAGNIFICENT! 10/10 The venue itself is STUNNING! Glamorous and easy to navigate all the aisles. Our seats were very comfortable and you can see the stage from any corner/angle since the theatre is not that big. Also has balcony seating. Tickets were $50 a piece not including tax. It has a beautiful gift shop, garden, different restaurants all around the building, and a small store where you can purchase some beverages and snacks. Overall, a GREAT performance and we both had a lovely time. Parking is $10 with few an entrances and few restrooms for both men & women. Thank you all for another AWESOME performance!! Will definitely return again next time I get a brochure or pamphlet in my mail.

The surrounding is mini park that have many different theme sections to be discover prior or after the show. Excellent and ordinary group of musicians and with great leader conductor...make a great musics in a great warm and cozy setting. Seat are okey, not comfort but good enough to endure the whole show. Love the layout that literally using all spaces for guests to enjoys the music in the given space.

I recently just watched a musical here at the Ahmanson Theatre here in Los Angeles…read more I've been here once before many years ago to watch Mary Poppins. I don't live too far away from here but it's always a trek coming down to downtown LA. And the tickets I received is said to park in the music center garage. Parking was $10 and really efficient. It took a while to get our bearings to find out where we could park and what was available. And at the very end, it was actually pretty efficient to get out of there as well. We're on level P6 and we were directed to go down towards the lower level and everything was very efficient to then come back up to the surface.. It's a beautiful venue. It's not huge, but they're able to make great use of the space. We sat in the balcony and got a great view and we were able to see everything fairly well. There are lots of concession stands throughout and you're even able to pre-order drinks and snacks and beverages for the intermission. Overall, it's a great venue, it's even closer to me than the Pantages, where they have a lot of other musicals as well. We caught a great show here too. This is definitely a hidden gem that I'll be excited to come back to again in the future when there are future events. Everything is so well organized and it was a great experience.

It's been a long time since I've been to this venue. A long time ago, I went to a show where Savion Glover was doing his tap dancing and I saw a show where Val Kilmer played Moses in a 10 Commandments type play. I didn't order any concessions during my trips and the people that I've dealt with were always professional and friendly. My recent visit was for a Wanda Sykes show during the Netflix comedy festival. It was a cool revisit, especially after being more into the movies and awards season than a long time ago. It definitely added a lot of context. Welcome to that building. The show was great. And it's a beautiful building but some for some reason it just felt like I shouldn't be there or something. This is not their fault. It may just give this feeling or big brand of exclusivity. I have to admit, though I don't usually look for a lot of shows at this venue so maybe it's just me. Either way, it was really cool being here again. Hopefully there's a concert or cool show coming up that I would love to come back for.

I was early and saw nobody entering so I stood around, asking other people who also had no idea what the heck was going on. In time I did approach the man as to how I got in and he says well, do you have a ticket and I showed him I did and he moved the barrier. They really could've done it better don't you think?

The staff was extremely helpful in guiding my son and I to the ADA seating from entering the venue, using the correct elevator, and to our actual seats. A+ for customer service. Very pleased with the acoustics here. Excellent sound tonight. The light show was splendid. The orchestra did a wonderful job supporting Yoshiki. I learned many things about his life as well. He has suffered more than his share of heartaches but he continues to get back up each time he gets knocked down. It was an enlightening and motivating evening. I wouldn't hesitate to return for a different musical artist.

Watched Anna Lapwood on my birthday & it was the most incredible show to witness at this venue…read more Especially since the Walt Disney Concert Hall houses the magnificent pipe organ! Fun fact there's 6,134 individual pipes, ranging from the size of a pencil to 32 feet tall. Incredible. To not only be at this incredible venue but listen to Anna Lapwood the famous organist play was an otherworldly experience. The venue's magnificence hits even before you step inside. The steel structure designed by Frank Gehry is known for the architectural beauty. Another fun fact is that it has over 11,000 individual structural steel pieces! Theres parking underground which makes it convenient post show. It's located right next to the Broad so I've personally enjoyed having an appreciate of arts day when I have a show. Starting off by perusing the art at the Broad then concluding with an inspiring and moving concert! The staff here are all lovely and quite friendly! The acoustics inside is unreal and there really is not a bad seat as it all offers a different sound experience. Beautiful & lovely venue can't wait to be back!

The service was amazing! I asked then for a lemonade and I thought I was getting something from a machine. Instead the bar tender muffled fresh berries and made his own lemonade concoction. Maybe it was the extreme heat, but I'm more inclined to believe that this was the best lemonade I've ever had in my life! I ordered their sliders and fries which were so delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by for a quick bite.

The taquitos and sliders seem to be popular options. My husband and I had the Bougainvillea cocktail, kind of a spicy strawberry margarita, and the NON, a sparkling, nonalcoholic, fruity wine. Both were fantastic honestly. Very refreshing. The cocktail was strong but not knock you on your butt strong. Great flavors all around. Prices are what you might expect for a museum bar. $18-20 for a cocktail, $14-15 for highballs, $15-18 for a glass of wine, and $13 for nonalcoholic drinks. Food ranges from $10-25 per plate. The bar is outdoors on the 2nd floor, to the right of that main staircase near the entrance to the Getty campus. It's basically on the way to the Research Institute galleries.
