Fire N' Ice exceeded our expectations. Jim from sales answered all of our questions and explained the whole process and financing options. Their financing options are superb. We also liked that their installers and Union and have at least 15 years of experience. We felt confident that this company was a solid choice. On installation day, the installers Chris and Jim showed up right on time. They worked efficiently and neatly. Once finished they explained everything to my husband and I. We were very impressed. We love that if we do at least a yearly maintenance check our units are under warranty for 10 years. He talked about the importance of having your AC and Furnace maintenance and checkup yearly. I was educated about my furnace and importance of changing the Air filter. I feel like I know my furnace like I know my car now. Every technician over the years that came out to maintenance my AC and Furnace were all well trained, trustworthy and professionals. Seems like every time I need a technician to come out, there is always a lack of communication. I…read morerequested a morning appointment and thankfully I called to confirm my appointment and sure enough they had me scheduled for an afternoon appointment. I made sure they changed it to morning. Also, I made sure to remind them that I do not have access to a hose or pressurized water source and they said that they had it in the notes. The tech showed up today and said no one told him there was no pressurized water source at my home and he would do his best to clean it by hand. It is unfair that I am asked to pay full price for service that won't be done the right way. I called and let them know the tech was unaware and the woman that answered the phone said it was in the notes and they were not sure why the tech was not informed. I asked for a discount and was just told a manager would get back to me. Very disappointed once again. Do better, guys.

We recently purchased a home with an ancient AC and Furnace - which wouldn't you know it - started…read moreleaking a couple weeks after we moved in. We called a few local contractors for help, and NONE were even close to the level of quality and communication of Vent. Other companies wanted to charge us to come out and tell us our AC was broken (obviously) one of which spent less than 5 minutes recommending just a new AC - and implemented some shady sale techniques around scarcity to make an all too quick decision. Emanuel (the son) came out and did a very thorough diagnostic with pressure readings - all free of charge. He explained in detail about what was wrong why just replacing the AC was ultimately not the best way to go - but up to us. Jim (the dad) took over in terms of scoping the project and scheduling the work. He and his crew were friendly and accomidating throughout the day and did a great job with the install and clean up. Overall, we ended up replacing the AC, coil, furnace, and making enhancements to our ducts. The price was reasonable (beating the others just for the AC portion), the workmanship excellent, and communication was great. Would absolutely recommend!

I agree with Karen, This guys a joke put freon in my unit 2 months later needs to be charged again…read moreand on top of it charged me another fee to come out. Probably didn't put enough freon in there. Told him give me a estimate on new unit, never even got back to me instead telling me i have to move door jams back. Windy city came out within a day and replaced unit and condensor on roof. This guy is lazy and only wants to put freon in units. And then people think he's a miracle worker causes he has cold air flowing again on a system thats only gonna need it again. 400 freon charge a year times 10 4000. Most hvac guys will recommend repairs not this guy. Only looking for good reviews.
