I would give zero stars if I could! Please go somewhere else, don't use this guy. I simply asked for assistance in building a very small granite block for my daughter's project (she's nine), the size of a small kitchen cutting board. I even told him that if he wasn't interested to please just send me in the right direction. Instead of helping, he waste's my time by asking for photos and information on her project - then tells me $850 for the work. This is the second time we chose Sciarrino Marble, they were the only company we could trust to duplicate and fabricate a very unique island that they had in fact made for us 20 years ago. So, when we decided to remodel our kitchen island, I had to start from scratch in finding just the right company to help make it happen. Highly recommend Sciarrino for countertop fabrication and installation. The price was very reasonable, the fabrication was quick and they were very professional and accommodating. An unfortunate incident occurred at the tail end of the installation - the marble cracked while/after drilling the faucet hole. Since it cracked all the way through from sink to faucet hole to backslash, Pete did not hesitate to replace the entire piece. This entailed finding a similar marble slab, re-fabricating and installing. Very polite, accommodating and dedicated to customer satisfaction! Pete and the crew were easy to communicate with. The only reason I didn't give the 5-stars is because of the removal and re-installation, we now have to scrape, sand, prime and paint the panelling around the counter top. Not a big deal, but not perfect. I am extremely happy with the final result. I would use Sciarrino Marble for future projects and recommend to anyone. read more

Firstly, the job was done correctly. Now, the benefits of choosing Sciarrino Marble, Granite and Tile: 1) communication was always timely. 2) came when they said 3) went above and beyond to make sure my appliance fit, even though the granite modification I asked for was completed. Background, I purchased a new refrigerator and the original opening did not allow the right side door to open completely. It looked like if 1 inch of my granite slab could be cut away in an inconspicuous spot and then the refrigerator could move over and the door open freely. I called 6 businesses from granite repair to fabricators and only one called back to say they would not attempt the job. After reading reviews, it seemed that Sciarrino had done similar work for older homes or older installations that needed modifications. I called and was recommended to text. I texted my request. In under 30 minutes I received a reply. I sent a few photos and again in under 30 minutes received a reply that said yes, the work could be done. 10 minutes later I had an estimate and after my confirmation, I had a option of times to have the work done. Mike notified me 30 minutes prior to arriving and started prepping the area so he had good lighting and would leave my kitchen clean from granite dust. After the work was meticulously done and my refrigerator slid back in, it still did not open well. Mike then pulled it out again, modified the wood moulding and put it back and now I have a fully functioning refrigerator. So happy. Relieved. And thankful there are still tradesman that do skillful work. read more

Just had an excellent experience with Sciarrino Marble! I wanted a solid surface counter for my rental unit that wasn't too high priced but was still attractive. So I wanted to be able to perhaps choose end pieces or leftovers and not buy a huge slab at crazy prices. A couple of places I called only sold whole pieces at really high prices. That is where Sciarrino Marble stepped in! Pete the owner was incredibly nice and very accomodating. We walked through his "boneyard" of granite, marble, and stone to see if anything would work. I did have three large counters to keep in mind plus backsplash so I needed some big pieces at the right price. I found EXACTLY what I needed at a fraction of the price of buying from a granite slab yard. Pete had beautiful pieces that worked perfectly! I was a little afraid the seams would show but after fabrication and installation you can't even tell that we pieced it all together. The counter is beautiful and I am so satisfied. Pete and his team even went above and beyond and got the whole job done in under a week (even with Thanksgiving in there somewhere). And when a piece that I needed to put on later due to an electrical outlet changeout turned up broken (hmmm was it the dog or the tenant?) Sciarrino Marble immediately made a new piece and even delivered it with a little bit of epoxy!!!! How is that for service? I would highly recommend Pete and his team for any job you have. The team is friendly, accomodating and knows what they are doing. They can do the whole job for you from selection of the perfect piece of material to fabrication to installation.
