Sicilian supreme pizza- combo of veggie n meat lovers
    Rachel S.

Ordered a large/12 slice Sicilian pizza of their Supreme Pizza, which is a combo of their meat lover's pizza and veggie. Ordered by phone and picked it up. Was told pick up would be ready around 30mins and total was $23. What's hot - Quality. Yummers! Freshly baked and definitely a good amount of toppings. There doesn't seem to be any skimping on the toppings. There was plenty of variety of meats and veggies. Given that this is a combo topping pizza, I'm happy that there was a good amount of the toppings. - Portions. Each slice of the Sicilian pizza was a good square size. The crust is very thick, as well. Soft and chewy and definitely freshly baked. 3 slices filled me up, which is less than a regular pizza. - Location. It's in a small plaza, with a few other shops. It's pretty easy to find and right next to a busy traffic light area, so at least it's easy to find. - Service. Nice staff and the time estimate they gave me over the phone was accurate. Definitely appreciate it, cuz that meant I didn't arrive with a response of, "Sorry, it's not ready yet." What's not - Price. It's pretty pricey for a pizza, especially when you compare it to other pizza chain restaurants. At the end of the day, it probably boils down to your personal preference and taste of pizza. The price was another reason we picked up our pizza, rather than order delivery. I didn't ask what the delivery cost is. Plus the delivery guy probably expects a tip and I'm not a great tipper for delivery. - Salty. Hubby and I woke up in the morning super dehydrated. Our mouths were very dry. - Layout. There are a few tables inside if you plan on eating there. This place can't hold a lot of people, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But be aware of their limitations. Additionally, the parking lot can be a tight squeeze, cuz there's only a few spots in front of the store. Final Answer Would definitely come back again.

This is by far my best pizza place in Pittsburgh area, the pizza crust is awesome with very very rich ingredients and flavors. The big sizes pizza are a perfect fit for family gathering or game nights.

thought we'd try a new pizza place. Ordered 2 pizzas, one regular pizza was ok, the $27 12 cut "Sicilian"?....not so much. Crust not proofed, flat, like chewing leather. Inedible. Pitched the entire box. They don't respond to their website chats or social media messages. Disappointing and incredibly expensive.

Got a couple Italian hoagies and loved them. Staff was pleasant and hoagies were ready when promised. Support local, they're great.

It may surprise some to know how many times I've hung out in Pittsburgh in the last 16 years or so,…read morebecause I've never been to a Primanti Bros. before. But then again, I am vegetarian, so I didn't think they offered anything for me. I've looked at the menu online more than once, and didn't see any sandwiches designated vegetarian each time. But I was meeting a friend before a concert on the RMU campus, and this was conveniently located 1 mile away, and it had food and beer. I kept an open mind and figured, I'll just modify one of their sandwiches. When I arrived, I learned they also have a pizza option. But I still thought... when in Rome... There was a black bean option listed on their wall menu, but the waitress double-checked for me and we learned together that they use to offer that option, but no longer do. Damn. There was however a cheese (no meat) option on the menu, which I was surprised wasn't on the online menu. But I'll take it! Their sandwiches are interesting in that instead of sides of french fries and cole slaw, the sides are just stacked into the sandwich to make it a quick easy convenient meal! The draft beer selection was good, the sandwich was decent enough, and the service was great (weekday evening). In the end, I am not sure I'd run back for my one sandwich menu option, maybe I'd try their pizza, or go for some sides, or just stop in for a beer on my way to my next show. I enjoyed the vibe and most everthing about the place, but the sandwich was just okay.
