We really like this spot. We were in last weekend and this weekend. My kids love the Cherry chocolate chip (I think that's what it's called), I had the pumpkin last week,which I liked,had good spice to it,not sickly sweet. This has been on my list for a while so I was excited to check it out. The interior has a cute cozy vibe and plenty of seating. They have a variety of flavors and I tried the double chocolate one and raspberry sorbet. Didn't take a pic, too busy eating. Well I wasn't impressed with the size of my banana split. I thought for the price, I was going to get a bigger ice cream scoop or even whip cream but you have to pay for every topping you put on that boat. I do want to point out how they separate their lattes and that was very nice of them since our house is 15 minutes away and I didn't want the ice to melt before getting home. This place is super cute! The way they have it decorated inside is so fun, and they do have seating inside and a tv you can watch. The flavors of ice cream they have are so good...plus seasonal choices as well. They have your normal flavors but also offer a variety of unique flavors too. The quality and creaminess is amazing! I have to have my ice cream in a waffle so I always get the waffle cones or cups. I do wish they made them a bit thicker because it breaks pretty easy. Flavors are probably around 2 dozen or so which is great because plenty of variety for everyone but you don't get lost in the menu. Did I just drive 25 min from Round Rock for this? That was my thought process as I was leaving the house. My wife wanted to try this place and I looked at the flavors and nothing stood out, it was just pretty ordinary. But then you taste the ice cream and you're mind is blown. I would suggest getting one scoop of their fresh fruit ice creams like strawberry or peach. My wife and I got one scoop of each and we really liked it. The Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip was also a big hit with us. The raspberry and chocolate work so well together. We ended up liking it so much that we purchased a quart to-go. The Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip is to die for!! I love that the chocolate pieces are high quality chocolate and very creamy. They melt in your mouth. Not like other ice creams that have the chocolate chips that are waxy and chewy. We also got the Raspberry sorbet as i'm typically more a sorbet than ice cream gal, but OMG, after trying both, I ate almost half the pint of the Black Rasp Choc Chip! My girlfriend was having ice cream withdrawals at 7 pm on a Sunday evening. We consulted Yelp to find something that was different than Baskin Robin's. I found this place which is about 15 minutes from my home in Round Rock. As soon as I told my girlfriend she looked it up on Yelp and I thought she was going to have a heart attack. They sell a brand of ice cream made in Ohio which is apparently worshiped by all mid-westerners. My GF was not disappointed and fund the ice cream as good as she remembered. I had the Cookie Dough - Chocolate Chip and my GF had Mint Chocolate Chip. The ice cream was very good but the big draw to the cold stuff is the chocolate they put in everything that has chocolate. It is truly outstanding chocolate. My scoops had dark chocolate swirled into the ice cream. It was soft and melt in your mouth good. The ratio of cookie dough to chocolate was very good too. Not too much cookie dough, rather just the right amount. My GF has decided we will grab a scoop here at least once a month. I agree it was really good.
