We went a little before closing, and I was lowkey expecting slower service, but they were so quick and efficient. So whoever owns the strip mall is a horrible owner and Landlord. As soon as you walk in, there are two computer screens where you put in your order. What is quite tricky about it is that it automatically default to the large size drink which automatically adds a dollar to the overall price. Why doesn't it default to the standard 16 ounces which is really the true base price. Another interesting default of the system is that it automatically says 50% sugar rather than starting at 100% sugar and then allowing you to change it. Of course you can change it out of the 50%. The place does have a lot of seating which was great. It's very bright and clean on the inside and there were two ladies. They're working today and they were quite busy. It did not take long for the drinks to be ready and they were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back again and try more items. They even serve food like soups.

It's not bad, but I think it's just not exactly to my liking. What I didn't realize was that a lot of the spices sunk to the bottom so when I remixed the thic layer of spices with oatmilk at home, it tasted pretty good with the right consistency. All of the drinks were pretty diluted in our opinion, and I think it's too much spice for my husband although I liked it. I also ordered some pastries, but the server packed the wrong one. If I didn't look closely enough I might've missed that. There was one last Dubai pistachio cookie which I asked for, but they gave me the Biscoff cookie instead which was a less expensive one. Anyway, they were fine switching it out after I pointed out, but no apologies or anything. While we weren't impressed with the drinks at first, the medovik mouse/honey layered cake was really good-- it was pretty dense where the buttery parts were, and it was pretty sweet so it balanced well with the acidic coffee. We didn't know the cookie had more fillings on the inside until we got home. The fillings had crunchy flakes which adds a really nice texture, and the filling is not too sweet. Really good. We liked the pastries a lot more than the coffee. Perhaps we just aren't used to the flavor and taste profile of the coffee. I'd be willing to try more here.

I'm not entirely sure what aesthetic Kung Fu Tea is going for, but dim the lights and add a smoke machine, and you've practically got yourself a downtown nightclub. Sound-Bar closed down? Drinks are just as good as ever. May or may not have been here twice in the past week, could probably go again as it's quite literally the best boba place in the area hands down. I think my fave is the halo halo blended ice, a drinkable version of halo halo with boba and different jellies. Jeremy C nearly always gets the Peach Oolong tea (he prefers without the honey jelly). We've tried many different drinks and honestly never have had any complaints, you really can't go wrong with any of the drinks. I love that most of the drinks are customizable in terms of amount of ice and sweetness, but this varies between drinks as some you can only get at full sweetness, some go as low as 0%. The staff are super helpful and you can just ask. They also frequently have seasonal drinks so it's fun to see what's new. They have a bright white and clean interior with some tables and seating areas, super open and a decent place to kick back. Parking is typically pretty easy as they have a lot for the plaza. Depending on the direction you're going though getting in and out can get a little tough. But it's definitely worth it.
