Theres nothing wrong with that, everyone needs a chill place. These workers were definitely friendly when you got to speak to them. The building itself seems tiny, as it's mainly a drive through opportunity. There is a walk up window where you can do order ahead or order immediately. With a couple of outside benches, if you want to sit, you can. I didn't say any other way to relax with a cup of coffee and watch traffic at this location since it's mainly an outdoors only facility (you can't go inside and order / hang). Again, the staff did seem friendly, but like some other Yelpers stated, there didn't seem like any sort of urgency to get the walk up coffees made. The priority was drive through first and window service second. It also felt like there was some sort of hybrid controlled and uncontrolled chaos going on inside - they were too busy jamming to some music and hustling to pay attention to their surroundings. It was as if they were drinking as much of the espresso as they were handing out. About 4 different groups of orders had been taken while I was there, and at one point a window worker stated he didn't know where the orders were and whose belonged to whom. There was no specific order to how things were received and given out. The two orders I had were the "Sugar Free Golden Eagle" and the "Sugar Free Cocomo". The Golden Eagle had the right mix of caramel and vanilla while the Cocomo needed to sit for a few minutes to make sure the coconut was mixed thoroughly. Cocomo was one of those drinks that needed to relax and let the ingredients combine longer, in order for all the flavors to be recognized. Would I go back and try this place again? I honestly don't know. It is a super packed (busy) location and the super sugary drinks aren't my thing (there are limited sugar fee items). With the price of each cup ranging in price to be comparable to other chains, I'd rather try a plain coffee if I'm going to get anything the next time. Thanks for the free stickers though; I got friends who will love them!

I paid nearly $11 for a mocha that I pay $5 at Dean's, within the Luminary downtown (which is organic coffee) and even Starbucks is $8 something. Since the ingredients are similar to Little Debbie's snack, they name this as "Little Debbie" and served with soft mini oatmeal cookie. This hot latte fixed my craving for afternoon coffee! They also have burritos, sliders and limited sandwiches available. So, you can have a quick breakfast or lunch. The staff here is warm and friendly. Service is fast! Be aware that there's actually a hair salon also called Bare Roots that is located diagonally & has almost the same logo so if you end up in a salon, you're close but wrong place. They have a large parking area, but it was a packed lot and I got the last spot despite only about 5 people inside so perhaps someone else is using their lot. Service was fantastic! (Think it was the owner who helped me.) The store is very clean and offers traditional coffee shop drink options as well as refrigerated juices, bakery items, salads, and some savory foods. I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk and was surprised to learn that they make their own almond milk and oat milk so there are no gums or preservatives! Love that!!!! The hot chocolate was tasty and pricing was typical. Their soup seems to change but when I was there it was a carrot ginger (anyone who's done The Plan will be keen on this one) or a chicken and veggie. They offer a mini quiche with gluten-free crust, which I'll have to try next time. It seems their breakfast breads (lemon blueberry loaf, banana loaf) are popular, but not gluten-free. They also make their own empanadas in house so that would be worth trying. When you infuse nitrogen into coffee, it creates a very creamy and foamy head without milk! Other experts even said, nitrogen slow down oxidation and kept the coffee fresh longer! Today, I ordered hot cinnamon latte. Shots of their Espresso with Moon Milk and oat milk with cinnamon is my second favorite. A chocolate croissant and sips of cinnamon latte made my afternoon break complete! Ambiance is very cozy and relaxed. Both inside and outside tables are available. Staff are always friendly and smiling! A wonderful place to stop by for coffee!
