Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. I would've bought the suppressor too if his attitude wasn't absolute s***. They even charged me a restocking fee because I didn't want the suppressor anymore. I'm a Marine Veteran with two tours and never been disrespected like this so I won't be back. I'll happily take my money elsewhere and so should you. Go to Scheels where they actually communicate, actually want your business, actually give accurate back order dates and actually value Veteran customers. Need snowshoes. Easy peasy. Need chains for your sports car so you can hit the slopes on a perfect Blubird day? They got you!!! Heck, they'll even do a quick tune of your skis so you can fully enjoy your day. I have never been snowshoeing. When we showed up the guys engaged in a great conversation. They asked us where we were going. We let them know it was our first time and they gave us directions. They even gave us birdseed to feed the chickadees! The entire process took about 5 minutes. And you can't beat the price! We came in, I filled out a form, paid and we left. Super quick, super easy. I didn't have any questions as I had done my research on snowshoeing. They are patient and really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and that you understand safety and what you're doing and make everything really easy. When you get there you complete your registration and rent a lane. Then you can either use your own firearm, eye and ear protection, and ammunition or you can rent or purchase everything. You can rent handguns and various semi-auto rifles for a flat rate plus ammunition, or you can rent automatics or belt fed machine guns by buying magazines or belts, no flat rental rate required. It can all add up pretty quickly but overall the rates and prices are reasonable. I had a great time, my favorite was firing the Thompson submachine gun on full auto, and will definitely be back for the M1!
