Instead, he sent me to speak with his staff, who was unprofessional by discussing their private life and medical issues with me. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the amount of money I paid for low quality work, they reminded me that my insurance was already great savings. Come on. I can only recommend to stay away and find another natural dentist. The Stafalone is reason enough for that. Not to mention the dentist's sloppy (and painful) work.

During the first appointment, I am listening to him and his assistant search everywhere for the correct size tools/supplies needed and they were completely out. "Have they been ordered?" is what was said aloud. They were completely unprepared. So they made whatever they had work that day. Or I should say, it did not work. I went home and suffered the most horrific tooth/nerve pain I have ever experienced. Only to be mislead by their "after hours and weekend" message on their website. Which they said they would have removed from their site because there was NO after hours, weekend, emergency help or advice. After days of pain, I went back in for him to do it again, and another appointment after that to do it AGAIN, to make sure it was done efficiently. And I asure you, it was not. Months later, I am still experiencing discomfort, the crown is super uncomfortable and I am left with nerve damage. The partial refund I had to fight for doesn't even make up for the pain, suffering and horrible dental work that was done. Now I must seek a professional specialist and hope this can be fixed or relieved.

They always go up and beyond their jobs, for example, my husband had the temp crowns put in, but we were in LA on and off for 6 months, they worked with another dentist to put them on shipping them and all X-rays etc. We ended up unexpectedly back in Fresno and brought crowns, again, they jumped into action helping us get that done. Called around but OnCall Dental kept up with the return calls on helping me book my appt & offering diff payment options due to not having dental insurance. The next morning Jen got me in in 1.5hrs! The office is very clean, had good energy & aura about it. Genevieve is an absolute doll! Very informative, caring, attentive. Dr Gates is a magician! Great bedside manner & very thorough. Talked me thru every step. Tho I needed numbing 3x he & his team calmed me down from my fear of dentists... It's a big fear .. I frequent town often & will now only use this office. I needed other work done, I've already known this.. but due to financial & time constraints, I could only pay for one tooth extraction today. They were not at all pushy & never once did I feel like they were bullying me into buying services. They gave me options which I am looking into & will be working towards! I understand the reason behind canceling but his office could have had the decency to notify all of his patients who were waiting for dental procedures that his office no longer took medical insurance for those services. I've seen Dr. Mirelez on so many commercials or infomercial and the way he talks speaks about being compassion and you would think he would have a little more empathy for patients who can't afford to pay for dental care and need that medical insurance to help pay for their treatment. Sometimes his office staff just needs to work a little bit harder to recover funds from the insurance companies! I cared for my chronically ill wife for 30 years took medical leave from my job for 12 years. That's what true patient care is!!! Now I needed dental care and was waiting for my medical and dental insurance to activate but to be let down by Dr. Mirelez and his office staff!

The office is nice, clean and the staff is very professional and friendly. When I met Dr. Ehsan, he is very pleasant and reassured that he will take care of the tooth. He did his magic and the pain was gone it seemed that nothing happened. On my next appointment, I was a little nervous because I haven't experienced a root canal before and I've heard that it could be painful during or after the procedure. Doctor Ehsan made sure that I am comfortable and relaxed. He explained the process of it and reassured that pain is just minimal and he kept on checking if I still feel comfortable during the procedure. The procedure was quickly done and pain-free even after. Doctor Ehsan is really thorough, gentle, knowledgable and a great dentist. I would recommend.
