Went here for a business lunch with out of state guests from Alaska. Recommended by a peer in Mount Lake Terrace since we neede something close, nice enough for clients and efficient as we were headed to Seatac next stop. This places we site bragged oneof the top ten lunches in Seattle. So far so good. I knew we had chosen tight when we pulled into a packed parking lot. I did have teservations for 8 and we were seated wiuckly right in front of the fireplace. Service was prompt and they closely monitored pur table for drink refills etc. Most of us got the souo salad combo or sanwich salad combo deal pick 2. I personally had the hald french dip with the infamous pea salad. Surprisingly pleasing combo. The french onion souo was popular at the table too. Can i also add i usually dont do bread but it came out hot slathered with garlic an butter. Needless to say it was going fast and yes i gave in and glad i did Yummo.i now know why this is one of the be sr t lunches in Sesttle. Great food great service. read more

Another visit with pretty much the same rating. The Chopped Salad was overdressed, the Crab open face sandwich was wonderful, the pasta was good, the Fish tacos were good and the Cowboy Steak was good. The steak at $30 should have been great. The potatoes that came with it were great. Not sure why they changed the cut of steak but again, it had too much fat. Probably 15-20%. If they are buying pre-cut meat they should trim the fat down. If they are hand cutting it, they should trim the fat down. Drinks were good and so was the service. Again, just not as good as it used to be. Sorry. read more

Scott's is great. They have prime rib nightly, their FO soup is amazing, and their seafood is always good. Many of the servers have been there for a long time, and the place focuses on service. The bar is big with full tables, and it has a nice patio for summer dining or HH. We also like their rewards program. read more

I was there on December 20th 20 21 for lunch. It is ridiculous how many people you cram into your restaurant and how long it takes to be served. I don't want to have bread for 2 hours. I'm hungry and I want to enjoy my family but 2 hours to be served is over the top crazy. You guys were able to limit your menu on the Christmas season and whatever other time you're that busy. Don't talk to people in like sardines and it's covid time. I was very disappointed and I left before I even received my m e a l. The only reason we go there on December 20th is because my mom who passed in 2006 enjoyed your restaurant. I hope to God my sister does not make a reservations there again. This place is nice enough and the food was good, but they need to sort out their front-of-house business. We came here on Saturday night, and they were quite busy - we arrived just a few minutes early for a 6pm reservation, to be told that one of our party had already checked in. Ummm, no, they haven't, it's a table for three and we are all right here. "Well, it will all get sorted out when we seat you," the hostess said. (?!) Finally, after waiting 15 minutes past our reservation time, watching several people who arrived AFTER us get seated for their 6pm reservations, and then finally lurking at the hostess desk only to be told, "We are just cleaning off a table for you and then we'll get you seated...", we were finally shown to a table. From there everything was peachy - drinks were delicious - Mr B had a Dark & Stormy and a Moscow Mule, and I had a Lemon Drop Martini that was one of the best I've ever had (so good I had another!), Little B had a raspberry lemonade she declared to be delicious. Dinner was all good - Mr B had the fried mozz, teriyaki steak bites and a half-Cobb, Little B had the Caesar with chicken, and I had Surf & Turf (though the steak was closer to medium than the medium-rare I ordered, it was still juicy and tender and the shrimp, mashed potatoes and asparagus were all perfect). We shared a Chocolate Decadence cake for dessert. Everything was tasty, well cooked, nice presentation. But I'll almost certainly never go back just because, for the price, I can get equally good food elsewhere without the up-front hassles and confusion. read more

My family and I come here every year for a special occasion - it's always fantastic service and good food. Not the BEST food I've ever had for the price point, but definitely a quality pick for a date night, family get together, etc. I would recommend coming during happy hour to get the most bang for your buck, and if it's sunny check out the patio! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Scott's Bar and Grill. Out of all the vendors I worked with for my wedding, Scott's (and especially Triston) were by far the easiest and best organized. The communication was prompt and thorough, with great follow-up. They put together a custom menu and printed it for the party. The Komen room was perfect and beautiful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The service was just outstanding- we had several wait staff and all were superb, not only to all the adults but also for a couple small kids in the crowd. I have been there a few times and enjoyed it. Unfortunately the last time I went there with my daughter and grandson, who came in from the East Coast for a visit, it was very unpleasant. When it came to pay the check, of course as the father and the host, I was going to pay and my daughter wanted to pay which I appreciated but as a rule I pick up the check. As this brief exchange ended, which by the way was settled on who was going to pay, our waiter, John W., was waiting and listening to this very brief exchange. This buffoon then told my daughter give him her card and he took it from her. We were all shocked. So I got up went to the register and told him to give me back my daughters card and take mine. He did that and continued in a sullen and hostile manner. I found the manager told him what happened and requested an apology for his rude and aggressive behavior. He went to the back then came out and said he was not going to apology. I don't know if anything ever happened, I doubt it. Employers may find wait staff hard to come by so they hire dregs like this character. We will never go back. read more

My wife and I went to Scott's on a Saturday evening and I would recommend a reservation. We arrived at 5:00 and were immediately shown to a table since we had a reservation but by the time we left the tables were all full. The service was great with multiple people circling the tables to make sure drinks were replenished and we had everything that we needed. I ordered the Chicken pasta with the pea salad starter and my wife had the prime rib. Both main dishes were excellent and the pea salad was good. I have never been to Scott's before and my wife had not been there in at least a decade. The decor is simple but the restaurant was very clean and with only 50% capacity very I intimate. I will be back to try the other items on the menu the next time I'm in Edmonds. read more

Love this restaurant. Last night was the first time I had come in specifically for happy hour and I was not disappointed. My friends and I get together once a month to see a movie at Cinebarre down the road. Since the food is not great there we decided to try meeting at Scotts first for drinks and appetizers prior to seeing the movie. Happy hour runs 3-6pm and 9-close. I got there around 5pm on Saturday and there was plenty of seating in the bar. Service was perfect. We ordered the gorgonzola fries, the teriyaki steak bites, the crab & artichoke dip and a few of us had the blue cheese salad. All delicious but the crab & artichoke dip is a must order...every time. We all enjoyed the basil gimlet so much, we actually came back after the movie for Happy Hour Round 2 at 9pm. Scotts really elevated our evening and we all agreed after last night, that Scotts will now be our gathering place to kick off our monthly movie nights. read more

I would like to rate Scott's for a four stars after my first dinning experience. The atmosphere is great and friendly and warm. The food tasted fresh and good. The 3 ladies ordered all wild salmon all around. It tasted so good but all were over cooked. Bummer! Service was great and fast but not rushy. I will come back again. Note: If you don't live in the area, it is so easy to miss this restaurant next a Chase and across from the Home Depot. Kinda disappointed with last nights meal. I don't know what the heck is going on with RUI restaurants. I know they've had some financial troubles but you would hope it wouldn't affect the quality of food. They've discontinued our favorite beer. Said they will no longer have hefe. The burger was dry and bland. It used to be the favorite thing on the menu. They also raised the price on it- and everything! 2 burgers 1/2 a salad and 3 drinks was over $85.00. And that's during Happy Hour. Service was still good though. They got that nailed. read more

Generally I have good experiences at Scott's. I have done Uber eats two times and both were awful. The first was a burger and it was not cooked through- I'd call it medium rare. The 2nd time the key lime pie was left off the order. I also ordered the teriyaki beef bites and they were blue rare. I bit into one and they were cold, cold. Idsay inedible. My wife and I went there Saturday night we got there at seven by 8:14 our food had not arrived.

I came here with my mother-in-law and husband to celebrate her birthday. We sat in the bar which was fine, though the seats were very uncomfortable. Also, it was at least 85 degrees that day and they definitely did not have the air conditioning on. The service was fine, though it took a really long time for our food to arrive and my husband's iced tea was sweetened, which was not specified on the menu or by the server. I ordered the oven roasted turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich. The bread was very nice, as was the turkey and bacon. However, there was maybe 2-3 slices of avocado, and for a sandwich with avocado in the name, it wasn't nearly enough. The fries were meh. My husband had the grilled sirloin with scalloped potatoes and veggies. The steak was overcooked and the vegetables were cold. My mother-in-law had the Dijon chicken which she really enjoyed, though her vegetables were also cold. All in all, I was not impressed with this restaurant and will not be going back. It was very overpriced for what the food was and the quality was not good. read more

Scotts, what happened? I've been here before and had good experiences. Not yesterday. Yesterday's review: Service here is relaxed. So relaxed, in fact, that it took quite a while to get water once we were seated. I didn't have a watch on, but after a few minutes I started counting the number of songs played to get an approximate wait time. There were three full songs and part of another after I started counting. I thought it was at least 15 minutes, my husband said 20. In any event, it was waaaaay too long to wait. I counted six servers working, but none of them seemed to notice we were there. This was around 2 in the afternoon, and plenty of tables were open. So it wasn't a rush period. We were starving and had no idea how long the main course would take so we ordered a soup starter. The soup was not hot enough. On the bright side, they were accommodating about substituting a green veg for potatoes. A big plus for low carb eaters. I think they realized the service had been slow, because our entree arrived about 1/3 of the way into the soup. This gave us the option of letting soup get colder OR letting entree get cold. It would not have hurt those scallops at all to stay on the grill a couple more minutes. They were a bit rare in the middle. The waitress refilled my empty water once during the meal. My husband's glass was half full, he scooted it over toward her for a refill, and she walked away. To top it off, we both were sick after lunch. It was the only thing we'd eaten yesterday, and we hadn't been sick before lunch. I'm just saying . . . This makes me sad. Scott's salads are great and now I'll have to beg my husband to go if I ever want another one. read more

We had a very disappointing diner at Scott's on Saturday. We arrived to be seated directly by their "party room" This lead to a gust of cold air blowing on us every minute throughout our meal. The restaurant was far from busy, and they could have gave us a better table, or redesigned access to their party room so waiters and guest are not constantly disturbing guests in the dining room. The wait service was slow, our waiter made excuses for the kitchen staff to explain the why it was taking so long for us to get our prime rib. Once the food was served the disappointment continued. The salads were generic, tasteless without any quality to them. The prime rib was not cooked to order, and was flavorless. Mine was nearly rare, with no taste at all! The brussel spots were decent, but the mashed potatoes had a funky taste to them. Not what I was expecting from an establishment claiming to be a "steakhouse with fine dining". The raspberry cheesecake was good, but not enough so to redeem the terrible experience we sat through for the 90+ minutes! We asked for dessert to go, of course it was brought to the table on plates, not in a box! It is just that kind of place. read more

Last week I called to make a reservation for happy hour at Scott's Bar & Grill. We wanted to sit on the patio for a safer visit, but they don't allow ordering from the happy hour menu on the patio. So I asked if they have indoor spacing for social distancing and was told they do not. Scott's bar is cramped and would be risky in light of the number of people who are still not vaccinated and in light of the Delta variant. On top of this, I've always found Scott's food to be very mediocre and go there only because it's a convenient meeting point for my girlfriends and I. Visited Scott's on a Tuesday evening to enjoy happy hr with some girlfriends The happy hr menu has wine, beer, and a few cocktails for $4.00 and the food was also priced for happy hr. The margarita was ok. My friend ordered a glass of red but didn't like it and it was returned to bar with no problem. One other person in our party had a hard time ordering a beer. She had to go down the list at least four selections before finding a beer they had in stock. I ordered the lavender cosmo and it's my new favorite drink!!! All of the small appetizer plates were good and a good value off the happy hr bar menu. The atmosphere was upscale and slightly romantic. Our server seemed rushed and had too many tables to serve in my opinion. Hence I'm reserving a 5th star. All in all it was a nice venue for a girls night out. read more

Super disappointed. I have been a regular customer at Scott's for years. During the tightest COVID restrictions I ordered food to be delivered and ordered their specialty meals for pick up on a regular basis (to help a local restaurant). I was headed home from the airport on a Sunday night at 7pm and decided to swing by for a glass of wine and a salad to go. I was told I couldn't order food to go. All new staff and really disappointing customer service. They should be careful how they treat loyal customers. If we go back to being locked down and you continue to treat your loyal customers this way, they won't be there for you. read more

On business on a rainy night looking for a good ribeye on a Sunday. Found this little gem! Loved the surf & turf 10 oz rib eye with mash, asparagus and garlic jumbo prawns. This has been a favorite place for my friends to meet up for dinner to celebrate birthdays and Christmas. However it was a disappointment last nigh. Although they had calamari on the menu when we tried ordering it they were out. And were there to have dinner at 5pm so how they be out already! Don't include it your menu if you're of an item. While it wasn't busy when we first came there, that soon changed and it became apparent they were understaffed. Hopefully things will improve so they are back as a great place to dine read more

Don't ever order a hamburger here. First I ordered it will come with no pink, the burger was so pink it made me want to throw up. Not to mention you could not even tell that there was a bottom patty, it was so soaked in grease! It took over three napkins to remove it all. I have eaten at Scott's for years, especially after our trips to Costco. It is one of my family's favorite places to eat because it is usually a well oiled machine. The employees work really hard to make you happy and the food is outstanding. Over the years they have made us feel like this is our neighborhood hang out. Unfortunately, something has changed recently and and things seem rather chaotic and unorganized. We came in on Saturday night and waited 45 minutes for dinner which was ok but one of our items was cold. Our server seemed overwhelmed and things feel very disjointed in the restaurant. When we asked what was going on, she let us know "there was new management and everyone is quitting because of the chaos and the way they are now treated." More information than we needed but explains the feeling in the restaurant now. I loved Scott's but I probably won't be back anytime soon if this is how things are now being run and the employees we love are being treated. read more

This is a old school kind of place. Steaks, salmon and caloried laded fare. One needs this kind of food on occasion. When selecting an appetizer, the calamari is really good, second to the seared teriyaki beef. Love the hot focaccia bread. They had a wonderful early bird special I loved, but have discontinued it due to Covid. My favorite dishes after the early bird special, is the Broadway pea salad. I usually order a side of grilled salmon, which they do very well. Delicious tomato soup and one of then best hamburgers I have ever had. Good french onion soup. Great grilled salmon and seared scallop dinner. I usually do not get dessert, but they have a delicious chocolate cake I tried with ice cream. Good key lime pie. One star off for the management decision to limit servers. I have experienced a prolonged waiting time, as one server is responsible for many tables. I think the backbone of Scotts is the hard working cooks. They make every attempt to send out the best food possible. Saw my food sitting on the counter for 15 minutes cooling time, due to limited server service. Happy hour has some tasty choices of food, not a real discount on drinks. Took clients there for dinner. There were 5 of us. First, it took at least 15 minutes to get our beverages. The server told us she was waiting for the bar to get our drinks. One of my guests suggested that he would get our drinks and they finally arrived. Three of the 5 dinners were good, Two of us ordered the prime rib and both meals came and the meat was cold, the mashed potatoes were cold and hard as was the asparagus. I told the server and she took them away. When she returned, with the manager, the food was barely warm, but we ate it because we were running out of time. When the bill came there was no adjustments. A lot to pay for cold Prime Rib. Not what I was used to form Scotts. Never going back. read more

Excellent fried chicken. Super moist and delicious. Mashed potatoes seemed a little dry, the flavor was good. Had I eaten them right away I bet they would have tasted better. I took them to go and heated them up. The gravy was great. Service was friendly and pretty quickly. read more
