The people working at the cart were really nice and accommodating, and were happy to modify any dish they could for ingredients that you can't or don't eat. The first thing I tried was the squash curry, which was a really generous portion size for $7, consisting of rice topped with a rich coconut milk-based curry filled with chicken, kabocha, and zucchini. It was really filling and tasty. But the real winner from the cart after a few visits was the avocado spring roll, which was $3.50 and the size of a burrito. It was basically a giant fresh roll filled with avocado, lettuce, cabbage, mint, rice noodles, cucumber, carrot, and peanut sauce. We got the medium spicy sauce, and it had a fantastic kick to it. Still can't believe something so large was only a few dollars, as it was such a great deal. Definitely worth trying this cart if you're looking for something to eat on campus.

This last market had a karaoke stand, various shops selling Milwaukee art, soap, and other handmade goods. Tons of food truck to chose from, we tried the tots (one of our favorites) and the brisket mac and cheese. Yum! Whenever I am able to, I make sure to stop by for a bit. It's an easy stop after work! I was looking for a place to work and saw the building from the high bank. I then had to search out the road that would take me down to this hidden Mecca. My wife informed me not to write a review because once this became public knowledge it would never be the same again. But I have to share this hidden place with my fellow Yelpers. It's just too good to be true. There is a stage but no one was performing when I was here. I asked the girls that work behind the counter and they informed me that there is live music on Wed-Sun possibly starting at 3pm or 6pm. I really can't get mad at them for not knowing the starting time because I am on island time right now. This place reminds me of a Caribbean Island where time and schedules just do not matter. The live music will eventually play. They did have some recorded music playing softly in the background which only added to the charm of the location. I allegedly ordered myself a pitcher of beer, grabbed a beach chair in the sand and started working. I can totally confirm the working and chair part but I'm pleading the 5th on the beer part. I ended up working for 3 hours on the beach. The funny part is that I was heading to the library in town when I was sidetracked like a dog seeing a squirrel. I really wish this place wasn't so far from Chicago because I would totally work here every day. I don't need some stuffy boring coffee shop. The beach is also incredibly clean. It is designated a blue flag beach which means it is being well taken care of. In fact, I witnessed a group of young kids actually cleaning up junk. I just found this amazing. I wish I saw more young people putting down their electronics and picking up a piece of garbage. I applaud you for saving your future World. You give me hope for tomorrow. The man who runs this, Martin, really cares about having higher ingredient items on hand. There are hot dogs, brats, kielbasa, a turkey sausage and more. Prices are very fair. There are a couple nearby benches to sit on. I like it that the items are grilled and not steamed. There is also a tribute on his sign for his Dad who was a vet. Everything about this is the best. Glad the other kitchens were closed. 1st time had the brat. Tonight had the kielbasa. Not sure about the hours or if it's open every day yet I'll probably be back when in Milwaukee again. Look forward to his continued and growing success.
