Warm lentil salad
Jan C.

We went here for lunch although the Art Deco interior makes for a nice atmosphere for dinner. Our server, Jenna, was very pleasant and attentive. We had the warm lentil salad and the burger. Both had good flavors although the fries were a tad on the soggy side. The salad had a nice combination of flavors. We would go back

Ciappino

I had the ciappino, pretty good, not the best I've had. It's probably better than I would expose seafood in Montana. The place is nice, very comfortable. Nice location along the river park. The service was great, engaging, and personal attention without interrupting or being annoying.

The Benedict*

Our bottomline sentiment for brunch: they seem to be trying too hard. My husband's chicken and waffle sandwich missed the mark on soulfulness needed in chicken and waffles. It was loaded with so much 'stuff' that it lost itself. My eggs Benedict special was also loaded with too many ingredients and yet didnt taste like anything. Our service was good and my daughter enjoyed her meal. We left satisfied but not wowed. We enjoyed but wouldn't order again.

The food was off the charts at breakfast! We could not believe how great everything was! I'll post pictures of our Benedict special, white chocolate & bacon pancake special and The 131 plate. Our server was so nice and attentive. I ordered hot tea that is made with tea leaves and a strainer that I easily got two cups out of it. We'll definitely be back someday!

Cool, romantic space

Good food, and drinks. The interior atmosphere is pleasant. Another place I would go back to, and one of the top 4 in Missoula.

How do women with long careers in tech get together to talk about tech ... and other topics? We go…read moreto dinner! Recently, one of my tech friends suggested Pangea, mentioning that they have a new chef. It was such a great meal, I took my husband there yesterday evening. We didn't talk tech, instead we discussed an art talk we had just left. And, between the art discussion, we talked about the food. The Crab Ragoon Cakes were an excellent starter. Ragoon refers to a style of wonton, which explains the addition of cream cheese to crab cakes. We had to taste the sauce on its own several times. Did I taste Five-Spice? Besides the attention to detail in the food, the training of the servers showed up when I asked about the Five-spice. Our server had a "cheat sheet" and unabashedly pulled it out to check. I love eating at a restaurant where the servers have access to information about the food. The cheat sheet said that the sauce is a jam. So, the server said that she would check. And, she actually did. Yep! There was Five-spice in that jam sauce. I do have one suggestion: train your servers as well in the fine art of go containers as you do about ingredients. Any time there is a dish with liquid or something that could run, don't use the containers with one little tab on the front. The sesame-ginger vinaigrette from my lovely Asian Pear Salad ended up at the bottom of the cooler. A bit of a sad ending to a wonderful dinner.

We dined here twice during our stay in Missoula, and truly enjoyed each dining experience…read more My husband's secretary gave us a gift card, and it took one lunch and one dinner to use up all the funds (it was very generous of her!). While there weren't a lot of vegan options, the ones that were available were delicious! We veganized a salad, a Brussels app, and the curry (as- is) is vegan. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were just right. I love the classy yet warm decor and colors, it was very inviting. Would definitely eat here again when in Missoula. Also, would love to see more vegan options!
