    Indoor play area

I've been coming to this location since my children were 2 & 3 (now 7 & 8). It's always fairly clean and well monitored in terms of oversight of the children. We haven't been as much due to the increase in price but we took advantage of their summer prices from 4-8pm on Thursdays & Fridays where the rate is $12/pk (normally $16/wk & $22/wknd) and adults are free (otherwise $3). Even with lower prices (not sure if they'll extend indefinitely) the location is across the bridge and I can't see myself taking the drive knowing the hell of traffic waiting for me after leaving. They offer lots of seating for adults (the lazy chairs are peeling unfortunately) and they offer a full menu that includes pizza and wine. Not pictured is well sized toddler area and a small book store. All in all I'll definitely be back just because it's a great space for my kids at this age and is an ideal space when not overly populated.

Fun- yes Safe- kinda Difficult to watch your child- yes Random letters that should be changed- yes Clean- kinda Overall this place is fun, but challenging to watch your children. Not very safe or clean, no one cleaning down the equipment or even around the large play area. The kids are having a blast, but saw three injuries in about 1 hour. The gym area is large enough for adults if you want to go in with them. One thing that is not fun is some of the parents, the smell of weed (which most likely is from the parents), and the fact it has 5 exits which makes it extremely difficult to watch your child. Recommend the staff to change the lettering on these foam poles though.

This was my first time taking my son (12 months) to Scramble and we will definitely be back! I love that there are so many play options for infants. My son was a little intimidated by the 100 or so kids and parents buzzing around him. For the first 30 minutes he just kind of sat in my lap and watched. Finally, he took off and started playing with the mirrors, climbing over blocks, and playing with the other babies. While it was definitely more crowded than I was expecting, I think that stimulation is good for his development (in healthy doses of course). Scramble has several age-appropriate play areas: the soft foam blocks and balls for babies, the neighborhood "pop-ups" for toddlers, the big activity "fun house" area for the older kids....and a big sitting area for the parents where they can eat food from the cafe or enjoy a nice 'adult beverage'. There is also a separate "quiet area" if parents need to take a phone call or a little break from all the noise.

It a nice place I enjoy coming here a lot because it brings family joy and everyone comes together

I've never seen a business charging 5-11 month olds. They can't even sit up they mostly sit in their car seat and can't even crawl. This is shameful and not a good business practice. Also they do not allow strollers inside which is ridiculous. Avoid this greedy business which is not baby friendly.

As a mother of two young boys with never-ending energy, I fell in love with Scramble quickly. It is one of the only places I can show up and not worry about where my kids are (in the play area that is), relax and just look at my phone, or whatever. They have Wi-Fi so I have seen parents bring laptops and try to get work done which is commendable. I frankly just like the opportunity to not have my kids hanging all over me and asking me 1 million questions. This place keeps them entertained for at least an hour and a half and they also get a ton of energy. It's not necessarily cheap, but in my view it is worth every penny. There's plenty of parking as long as you remember that there is a backside to the warehouse. Don't forget your socks.

Very busy but the kids love it!

It can get pretty crowded but children love it! There's lots to do and I love that they have a bookstore in front so the kids can have play + fun. They had a lot of food and drink options. I wasn't a fan of the pizza or salad. I suggest eating before or after you come. They do have a lot of snack options and I would probably stick to that over hot food. Parking gets super bad too. Be careful, I think they tow cars on the other side of the lot after 3. Check the signs.

We arrived and the party room smelled AWFUL- like the party before us was a full on weed party. I was stunned and freaking out. All of my closest friends with their sweet kiddos were about to arrive and we would all be stuffed in this tiny room of stench. the party host noticed right away and offered to try air freshener and I said yes and asked for the manager. The manager came over. I asked her....how can a birthday party at a venue for little children be filled with...this? I was appalled at her response. First she said, maam, weed is legal in Virginia. Ok in that case why don't we go ahead and also allow parties to serve alcohol and smoke cigarettes. THIS IS A CHILDRENS PLAY AREA! Who cares if it's legal! How is that relevant to my concern!? Then she quickly backtracked saying of course they weren't smoking in here, they must have just smoked outside and it was just on their persons when they entered. Ummmm no. The entire room REEKS. She refused to do anything for us other than offer to mop (but we're all in socks...no thanks). Later they took $6 off my balance and gave me three day pass vouchers (I've always gotten these in the past after large parties). Did nothing to offer any kind of discount. I told them that I would sadly have to give a one star review and the response was just...shrug. Awful. Not returning and don't recommend this for birthdays anymore.

The front desk staff who sold us our tickets were not very friendly, and although we saw a couple of staff members inside, they didn't engage with guests at all. When you asked questions they acted like we were bothering them. I had read online that this was a good place for toddlers, but we didn't even stay for an hour. The toddler Duplo area was small and many of the pieces were missing, which made it hard for kids to really play. The ride was also a bit scary for our 3-year-old. We didn't experience the movie or Bank game (both geared towards an older age). There was a small indoor play area, but it also seemed better suited for slightly older kids. My son stayed on that for 5 minutes since we couldn't guide him through (children only). Overall, I think this attraction would be much more enjoyable for kids around ages 5-7. Stars were knocked off due to the staff.

Kids were running wild, older children were swarming the toddler area, making it dangerous for smaller kids to enjoy anything. When we raised our concerns, a staff member named Sanai admitted that many parents just drop their children off and leave, which honestly blew my mind. That's not only unsafe but incredibly irresponsible, and the business does nothing to control the situation. To make things worse, the place wasn't clean. I saw spilled liquid in one area and spit in another, just sitting on the floor with no urgency to clean it up. It gave the entire facility an unsanitary feel, which is the last thing you want in a space full of children. There were way more kids than adults anywhere in sight, which backed up what the worker told us. It just didn't feel like a safe or managed environment. I wouldn't recommend this place unless something drastically changes with supervision, cleanliness, and safety policies. Until then, parents, visit at your own risk.
