Literally the worst breakfast I've ever had. Ever. The bacon was a joke, so thin you could basically see through it. Biscuit that came with the "house made" gravy was so dry and hard that the gravy couldn't even soak into it to soften it. Speaking of gravy, very lacking in flavor, consistency was good at least. Over easy eggs would have been ok if they were remotely warm, but they were not. The cold toast was the highlight of my meal. My daughter had pancakes and a sausage patty, I took one bite of her pancakes and had they been warm they would have been the best thing at our table. Actually, even cold they were the best thing at our table. One person got a breakfast burrito, it had so many peppers and onions you couldn't ever taste the meat. I was looking for quick breakfast and this place popped up in the search. At first I thought it was a donut shop, but there is a menu written in chalk on the ceiling/wall. They also had regular menus on the counter top (much easier to read). The food was great I bought two omelets, potatoes, and coffee and it only cost me $12. The portions were huge. The staff was very friendly and there seemed to be several regular customers dining in. Definitely worth a try! read more

This was a pretty solid decision. The people were really nice, and it was clean, for the most part. My boyfriend got the spicy blt and onion rings. The Texas toast for the sandwich was delightful. He loves spicy food, so this was perfect. I got the side salad and a cup of chili. It was just what I wanted, the chili warmed my spirits, and the salad was crisp and fresh. We go to this place a lot. The food is pretty good and service is ok. The prices are very reasonable!!! The only thing I have noticed with this place that bothers me is when you order cooked food and a donut on the side, every single time they forget the donut and of course I just remind them, but it has happened multiple times. Great local place....newly expanded to increase their dine-in availability. I'm sure this is really helpful on those busy Sunday mornings. I actually made two trips to Scrambled Eggs today! One in the morning to pick up freshly-made donuts ! The cake donuts are my fave! The second time was for lunch. The BLT was made with fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and extra crispy bacon . The toasted bread had a little too much butter on it... next time I will request it dry. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating! My wife and I were excited to try a new place for breakfast. It's a cute little store tucked into a small plaza and a cool little chalk menu, one each for breakfast and lunch. I ordered the steak and eggs, it comes with two eggs and I ordered and paid for a third. I also ordered onions and peppers in my hash browns. My wife ordered the slinger scrambled. My wife got her order as she ordered. I however was missing an egg, no big deal right?! Well here's where it went wrong for me. I told the women who checked on us I was missing the extra egg I ordered she said she'd take care of it, well she came back out to me with the kitchen ticket that showed my order including an egg and told me I didn't order an extra egg and said this wasn't her fault. I was flabbergasted, first that she wanted to start by placing blame on me and second that she tried to do so even tho it clearly showed an egg on the ticket. I just shook my head in disbelief. My wife had to speak up and tell her that we ordered it. She did bring me an egg and I did finish my breakfast but I'll tell you that the poor customer experience that was provided is enough to keep me from coming back and recommending this restaurant. read more

They easily accommodate custom orders, a rare approach in today's era. For example, I prefer my cheesy scrambled eggs to be "dry" and the cheese to be "cream cheese." Placed an order for tamales on Thursday and when I went to pick them up on Friday I couldn't pass up the donuts. The 6 pork and 6 chicken tamales were reheated with steam to share with guests and everyone agreed they were delicious. All will be ordering again! After the tamales we busted out the dozen donuts for our guests and kids and they are almost all gone. Scrambled Eggs is now my go-to donut store. Really was hoping this place would shine, due to it being a small business close to home. Sadly it didn't. The ventilation is not good. Expect to have to change clothes after dining here as there is a greasy odor due to poor ventilation. The place is not very clean, as you look around you can see a lot of things that are regularly overlooked. The duct going out from the kitchen area has yellowed grease accumulation that can be seen from the dining room. The food itself is not very good either. I ordered the gyro omelet which comes with hash browns. The plate had grease puddling on it. Not very appetizing. I really like to support small businesses in the area, however this one really needs to step up their game if they are going to survive. read more

This place is marginal food at decent prices- the other reviews are very misleading! We visited a week ago and had two full breakfast meals and two of the doughnuts- couldn't have possibly been more disappointed. The scrambled eggs were somehow both over cooked and runny in the same batch on my plate, the sausage dry, and the pancakes tasted of nothing but griddle grease. Doughnuts aren't worth mentioning. Not a bad experience at all, the employees were very kind and helpful. I was most disappointed by the food in general. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the majority of the burrito was green peppers and sausage (which I love however I was looking for a breakfast burrito, not a snack wrap) there were barely any eggs inside the burrito and it's also a fried egg inside the burrito instead of scrambled eggs, the literal name of the restaurant. I don't know if I'm weird but I've never seen someone use fried eggs inside of a burrito.
