We had just gotten into town and did a yelp to see what was good in the area and we came upon this place. We were a little reluctant to wait 45 minutes, but thought we'd stop at the bar for a mimosa! So glad that we stayed. The drinks were awesome the atmosphere bustling and it was so nice to intermingle with the locals. The biggest deal I suppose was the huge cinnamon bun! It was warm, with a delicious topping saturating the whole delicious thing. There was a yogurt dish actually served out of a hollowed out pineapple. My husband also loved his dish as well. I do have to say that the cinnamon bun was the best I'd ever had. The place also had a bloody Mary bar, where you could fix your own drink, the fixins not the alcohol. I didn't have one but it sure looked good. The OJ was fresh squeezed. I can't say enough good about the place, we were able to meet several different people during our wait and couldn't have been more pleased. It is definitely worth the wait. read more

This place was amazing. The waiter was friendly and honest about his opinions of different foods. I got the two eggs with grits, bacon, potatoes and biscuit. Everything was cooked perfectly. The grits had a great chicken flavor and were creamy without being runny, the potatoes were my favorite part of the plate with a creamy sauce. The biscuit was homemade. The bacon had a nice smokey flavor. My husband got Jake's Favorite Bake. He loved it. The potatoes on bottom with eggs and filling on top, covered in cheese. 25 minute wait, but actually more like... Well we left cause it got fucking ridiculous. Did this place live up to their hype? Let's start... and end with just placing your name for getting seated. They estimated 25 minutes when we got there, and to my surprise there was only another party of 4 ahead of us...yet there were 15 parties ahead of us. Is their estimation that off that it's an hour off? Or maybe, we were pushed back, I figured they're supposed to put people on the list when they get here, but nope. This is how it works: There's an app, where you can "skip the line." So people who are already there and check in and wait are pushed to the back of the "line". Now if you come and check in, you're fucked. You're going to be the very last to get seated so don't even fucking try. Now on the app line, those who check in the latest, or last, are seated first. What kind of fucking system is that? There's a person that came in towards the end before we left and they said they checked in 2 hours before and they saw people skip them when they got here. So whatever table opens first, the person who checked in last on the app were seated first. What sense does that even fucking make? If your restaurant is good, people will wait. Do a normal first come first serve system! What the fuck is up with the skip the line, because technically you're not and you're just making a new line. But if you first come first serve at least it's fair and makes fucking logical sense. You're basically saying "fuck you" to customers who don't have a smart phone or like the old way of coming in and waiting for a seat. It's a brunch spot. Why even have reservations? Why even skip lines? This place isn't a high class place, it's a place for FUCKING BRUNCH. Sorry for the language of my review, but the people who read this have to know how idiotic and illogical this shit is. And it makes my blood boil for those who sit there and not have any idea why people are skipping them. It's unacceptable and maybe if they decide to change their reservation system to a first come first serve I might come and actually try out their food. But until then, fuck that. read more

First impression- wow this place is packed and so pretty. Loved the blood Mary bar! Started with the eye-openers: deep fried devil eggs (2/5), Cinnabon (2/5). The cinnabon was kind of dry, definitely needed more glaze. It was not as wet/soft as I anticipated. The bagel Benny was good but not complete. It was a spread of guac on a bagel topped with sun dried tomatoes, egg, and spinach. Needed Extra sun dried tomatoes and spinach. The Benedict needed more to it then what was included. The egg on the Benedict was a little too flat (like the imitation eggs you get in a pre-made frozen breakfast sandwiches). The side of seasoned potatoes were good. The service 5/5. read more

1 star for the customer service. Arrived just before 9. Added to a waitlist with 10-20 minute wait time frame. Stepped in to check at about 30 mins of waiting and were told they waited ten mins for us, but no text message was ever received. Fried deviled eggs was the highlight, a good mix of creamy and spice. You HAD to dip it in the mustard smear that was on the plate. Waffle was ok, but nothing special. A tad spongy. My friend ordered the egg with mushrooms which was under seasoned. It was actually bland. The fruit salsa that was on the side was great, but there wasn't enough of it. It was maybe a tablespoon. When I asked if they ever have breakfast burritos on their special's menu they said "no we have crepes." Lol two totally different things. Drinks were ok, they weren't strong for the price. Wow! This place was delicious. I'm not sure what I expected, but they exceeded it. When I walked in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere that mixed country chic with industrial décor. It totally works for them. Also, I have to mention that the customer service was fantastic. We got seated right away and our server was attentive and super sweet. The manager stopped by to see how things were going and make sure we were taken care of. For starters, we got the Biscuits Butter and Jam. It was three big biscuits served with butter and a variety of jams. You could cut those suckers with a spoon...they were fluffy, buttery, huge and melt in your mouth. For my entrée I ordered the Savory Crepes which are filled with scrambled eggs, gouda sausage, sautéed peppers, shallots with béchamel and manchego cheese. It was served in a dish and I only wish the dish was larger. I wanted to lick the dish to get all of the cheese out it tasted so good. I also had the potato casserole which was ok and I ordered a side of bacon which was really good. It came with a side of their fruit salsa which was good, but I preferred to top my crepes with the tomato confit that my friend received with her meal, (and she gladly gave to me). I highly recommend ordering a side of it! I didn't partake, but they also have a bar with a variety of juices and drinks and they also have a Bloody Mary bar where you can customize your drink. Baked here toast was good and their soft, salted butter a great quality spread. Biscuits and gravy were average. Biscuit was pasty and bland, gravy was the better part. Service was good however the manager on duty was a little unfriendly. We asked the server if the fireplace could be turned on to which the server asked the manger and we heard him abruptly say "NO". No more words or even a smile just an unwelcoming NO. The best part of this eatery is the atmosphere/decor. Food is average and slightly higher priced. Oh and the house coffee was very good.
