I wasn't real happy with the last place that we were using as a car wash monthly subscription service. I called Scrubb's and spoke with Julie. She was so pleasant sounding and nice on the phone. I told her my situation and let her know I wasn't happy with my current car wash. Asked her if we could possibly do a trial to see how the car wash did on my vehicle prior to setting up a monthly subscription. After my car wash, I was so pleased I couldn't believe how much cleaner my car was from our previous experiences. I immediately went in in person and spoke to Julie and got subscriptions for both our cars. Additionally, it was very nice to know that they offer a veteran discount. Which was nice. To this day they continue to make improvements to their car wash. They have a wonderful detailing area with vacuums, rags cleaners, garbage cans, and let me tell you, the vacuum are very strong at sucking up all your dirty carpets. Stopped in here today for a car wash and they were doing a soft opening with free car washes! When I got up to the nice lady, Julie, she explained the pricing. When she tried to open the arm to let me through the touch screen froze! She felt so bad... she called someone over to help and open the arm. The wash was one of the best I have had! Having a car wash not attached to a gas station is a big plus in my book. Those drive through car washes aren't all that great. But right past S. Meadows Pkwy exit. Another stand alone car wash in S. Reno by the Damonte Ranch exit is Scrubbs car wash. You can sign up for any of their car wash plans for only $9.99 for the first month so you can see which package is for you. They even have a floor mat clip so you can vacuum the spots under the floor mats and clean the mats while it's clipped outside. They also hand you a microfiber towel, dash wipe and an air freshener as well. That was a perk that I enjoyed at my previous car wash by Winco but they stopped giving out air freshener vent clips for members since last year. Hence, why I cancelled my subscription w/ them. Overall, it's a nice new car wash, friendly staff that greets you as you drive up and it's closer to my . Had the pleasure of meeting "Scrubbs", the canine mascot as well. read more

This place is always amazing! The staff is so friendly chasing me around to make sure I have everything I need. I was even given an otter pop today in the heat to keep me cool while I vacuumed my car. The price is reasonable and I think for a machine wash it does the job just fine. If I could give one recommendation - I believe the spray bottles are a little cheap. I often have to go around to other stations to find a spray bottle that's working properly or not leaking everywhere. I think this problem can be fixed easily with a little more upfront cost for the spray bottle quality. I could see this being cost-effective for the car wash as they won't be replacing bottles as often and the customer will have a better experience! You guys are the best! read more

Best car wash tunnel in town and great customer service. My gas cover door cap came out because it has a broken clip from the past but they found it and kept it for me. I was worried it would've been thrown away but they found it and arranged for me to pick it up. They have the most state of the art hardware and cleans the best. I would give 5 stars but one quirk is they need to calibrate their tire Gloss application by dialing it down a bit. 3 of my cars I've taken there including my lifted truck within a few miles all get these black splatter from when the grease kicks off the tires making me want to get the cheaper option which doesnt do the tires. Their prices beat those self service machines that go back and forth and cost almost the same amount. Best value here. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here randomly for a wash and were so pleasantly surprised! The employees literally ran to greet us and explain wash options as it was our first time. We got the top of the line wash for $24 because it was touchless. They sprayed down the car before we went in and gave us an air freshener, dash wipe, and towel to dry the car. Needed to wash the plethora of bugs off of the front of my car from traveling to Reno, decided to come here and give Scrubbs a try. I asked the attendant if they could get them off, they "scrubbed" the front of my car before it went through the conveyor. No pun intended. Not only were they really nice, but my car was perfectly clean and I got to vacuum it and the supply of fresh towels and cleaners was appreciated. Scrubs doesn't like people who go to burning man, including thousands of people from Reno; don't go there. Someone who actually thinks about the consequences of their actions might have written "No dusty cars - sorry!" This sign means "people who enjoy burning man can go away". That includes me, looking to wash my very nice, never-been-to-playa car. Never spending at dime at Scrubb's again. I suggest they reexamine what they say and how they say it. -- after reading her answer, it's clear she can't tell the difference between "people who go to burning man" and "cars that have been to burning man" which is the point of my complaint as a former regular customer. The entire answer sort of Reads like "of all the things that never happened, this has never happened at all". People who have been out there know it isn't said at all - it's dust. Very fine dust. And I'm unconvinced this person has any interest whatsoever ever in being precise or understanding the language she is using. Which is fine. - I didn't use the wash today and I won't come back after washing here once a month since this spring. read more

Visited 12/6/2025 Truly a one-stop car wash. It's not for everyone just for people who actually want to enjoy the experience. Great customer service from start to finish. Jake greeted me and clearly explained the services; I honestly thought he was the owner or part of ownership. The company should be proud to have him representing them. The amenities are excellent and offer great value for everything you get: clean car mats for $5, microfiber cleaning rags, strong vacuum suction, window cleaning solution, air freshener, and compressed air to clean tight spots inside the car. Scrubbs is a newer car wash that is neither full-service nor bare bones but somewhere in between. When you roll up to the kiosk, you can select the level of wash and usually someone will come up to help you as well. The attendants will do a pre-wash as you enter the car wash and give you a microfiber cleaning cloth and dash wipe. The prices do seem higher than a bare bones, no attendant wash, but the vacuums are free of charge (and strong), and they provide more microfiber cloths and a general cleaning solution and window cleaner at each vacuum station. I appreciate being able to take my time with vacuuming versus rushing before the time runs out. The last time I think I got the top level wash and my car looked so shiny and new. It still looks great after a week! The manager is also super kind. She offered frozen otter pops to my two little ones, which was much appreciated on a hot summer day. I would consider getting a membership if I lived or worked in South Reno. read more

State of the art car wash. Awesome friendly service. They provide microfiber towels, an air freshener and a dash wipe. I personally use the touch-less option for wash which is great. Today before I headed in they swept out the bed of my truck from some light sand I had from Tahoe. After you pull through you have the " self detail" area which has high powered air to blow off and out anything you need. The best drive-thru car wash in a decade. The water pressure, the abundance of soap, wax and brush pressure leaves you spotless. You get a micro-cloth, air freshner and inside wipe. A random decision to get my truck washed at Scrubbs resulted in probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Not only was the attendee super polite and helpful, but the truck came out completely clean (never happens at other car washes). I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they offer microfiber towels and various spray bottles of cleaners in the vacuum area. As I was using the vacuums, the customer experience manager came over and introduced himself, asking if there was anything else I could do for him. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to Scrubbs today to wash my truck because I had a couple hours to burn before I went to work. I ended up locking my key in my truck WITH MY PHONE, so there was no way to unlock my truck or call for assistance. There was this amazing girl (Jen? Jill?) who greeted me before I locked myself out, she let me use the office phone to call my roadside assistance AND brought me water, some candy and offered me food while I waited. I sat there for 3 hours waiting for multiple locksmiths to come pop my door open, which never showed up (Thanks State Farm). The manager Miguel offered to give me a ride all the way to my house in Caughlin Ranch, but I declined because I thought the locksmith would be there soon. While I sat at Scrubbs, Miguel detailed my truck for me for free, told me if there was anything I needed just let him know, he even offered to call his own AAA to have them help me. I'm not kidding when I say these were the nicest people I have ever met. After about 2 hours another beautiful, awesome lady that worked there asked me if I needed to make another call, which I did because I had to call both my boys' schools to tell them I was going to be late picking them up. This situation was beyond frustrating to the point of rage, and this group of people actually made it somewhat manageable for me. I seriously cannot thank them enough, and I will be back in the next couple weeks with some well deserved gifts in hand. Never seen a business conduct themselves with such understanding and compassion in my life. read more

BEWARE!! A few weeks ago my car got stuck in this car wash. I honked and honked but no one came. I figured it would stop the whole car wash since my car was stopped. Nope. I was rear ended by the car behind me (TWICE)! I finally was able to put it in drive and race out of there. Turns out I received a two dents from being rear ended. After telling Julie, the manager, about it, she said she'd have to contact her insurance agent. Since then I have not been able to get a call back (after a few more attempts). I had to pay for the dent repair myself. I would think twice about using this car wash. I was really hoping they would do the right thing and take care of me (especially since it was a malfunction on the car wash itself), but that did not happen. Very unfortunate that a new business wouldn't take care of their customers. read more

Absolutely "thee best" car wash in America, they use "foam based wash spin cleaners", not traditional plastic resulting in no more "paint swirl damage" additionally the wash cleaning product dissolves dirt quickly and safely throughout the wash cycle. The drying blowers practically dry the car upon exiting. Upon exiting you are welcomed into the interior vac and clean area, vacuum your car at your leisure these vacs are super strong, with long nozzles designed to get into crevices between the seats. Microclwth towels are everywhere, along with windshield cleaner and all purpose cleaning product totally free as part of the wash. This business is a no brainer, the management staff is amazing, God bless all of them, they are there to assist you with anything you need. Like most people I don't have all the time in the world to go and sit somewhere for an hour or more if it's busy to get a car wash, but when I saw this one popped up down the street from me I was super excited, I will say, the customer service is great,they're nice, they help you with the option screen to pick your car wash, offer a towel to you before you head through the wash, and it's got great vacuum stations as well as glass cleaner and multi surface cleaner so you can give your inside of the car a good wipe too! That's awesome. My issue is going to be with the quality of the wash itself, I paid 2 times 25 dollars which to some might not sound like much but 25 dollars is 25 dollars that's half a tank of gas, some groceries, but I paid 25 twice for their "Top car wash" and not only was it nothing special but it didn't even get dust off my back windshield which came off with a wipe of the towel so either there's a malfunction with their equipment where it's not washing the back or it just doesn't hit that area, and I had some simple mud splatter on the side of my car, again didn't even get hit and was still there, I understand this is a to an extent serve yourself car wash but the one part I'm paying for doesn't even do the job that it's supposed to do which is WASH the car, I hope this was a one off but I can't really see myself wanting to go back unless I just need a basic wash. Convenient for the area it's in for me but I spent more time cleaning off areas it missed than I'd want to read more

I 'm not the best at taking my car for a wash but that's changed since today. A really nice woman greeted me and explained the different services and prices. The guys that wave you in were spot on and my car is as clean as ever. Now.....get this, they have amenities! Over by the vacuums they have clean towels and window cleaner for your free use. I have never seen this before. Everyone is so friendly, it's clean and great service. I will be taking my car for a wash more often now. read more
