I went to talk to the front-end person about some of the pricing and was offered a free car wash. I took them up on the offer and was pretty pleased. I am a member of Sierra Car Wash's monthly program, although their machines are starting to age, some of their employees seem like they don't want to work or be there and do a terrible job. So I was happy to see this place at about the same cost, with a much better and longer tunnel, longer wash time, all indoors, and also an area where someone could help you drive the car if needed. Everyone sees this place from the highway, and I was curious to try it out. I've been growing tired of Sierra Car Wash and the long lines to get dried off. Usually. I just give up and leave. Starlite is physically located very close to a different car wash place, so make sure that you're on Stardust St. (by the highway) as you enter. I chose the monthly membership on my return visit and have been completely satisfied. My SUV's front is power washed and the long washing runway does a great job. At the end, someone is always there to dry off your vehicle, including the oft neglected running boards. Military and vets get a substantial discount. Just mention/prove that upon entering the tunnel and you'll see the discount the following month. That's fair enough. read more

I have been a member of many car washes over the years but none have ever done as good of a job as Starlight Express. Their prices are great for everything that is included in your wash. The people at the front who do the prewash and scrub really get in there and do a great job. Then you just sit back, relax and enjoy the show as you are escorted down the long car wash tunnel. The rollers are very effective at scrubbing off our Nevada dirt and winter road salt and the dryers are next level. We decided on a whim to vacuum while we were there and the suction was incredible, not your typical go over the carpet 30 times before you get it clean. First-time visit; I have an older Prius, your prep crew were the first ones that cleaned the smoked glass under the little spoiler on the rear hatch, which always gets pretty dirty especially after driving in the rain. The folks who do the initial scrub and rinse are fantastic! They really take their time and give you a good wash. They also have a super long tunnel that gets all the nooks and crannies. I had decided to try this car wash after the overwhelmingly positive reviews I've seen, and was disappointed with the results. The staff seemed friendly and my wheels came out looking great. The vacuums are indoors and had good suction. As for the rest of the experience, it was rather underwhelming. The brushes sounded like nails on a chalkboard against the paint, and was not able to pull out the deeper bug spots. There were more spots left untouched compared to other washes I've been through as well. I had paid for the platinum wash and was offered an up-charge for tire shine. read more

We have been watching as the old bowling alley has been transformed slowly into this car wash, and noticed it was open today, so decided to give it a shot with our dirty car. We chose the 10 dollar wash, which I think is of great value, as it includes pre wash and towel dry with what looks like microfiber cloths. Car looks great, will definitely be using it more in the winter months as we get dirtier. The staff was super friendly. I never had to put my Tesla in neutral before, and had issues with that, but we figured it out. We didn't know going in that we were going to have a person dry our car at the end. I had no cash on me, and wanted to hand the guy a few bucks, and felt bad. I'll get you next time! Price : perfect, keep the value pricing, and you will do well. Quality : great wash My constructive criticism : Your car belt system is very narrow, and I have somewhat low profile tires, so if it hits the side, the wheel rubs, and I think it did some today. We stopped at Starlite Express on our way through Reno. It is very convenient, right off the freeway. The staff was so friendly and eager to help us out. From greeting us with friendly smiles to offering us help with our wipe down. The car wash itself is pretty impressive. Probably one of the longest tunnels I have ever been thru with plenty of brushes (with cool fun lights). Our car came out so clean, it was actually shiny!! Couldn't have been happier. There are car washes all over, but Starlite's product and service definitely sets them apart from the rest. Highly recommend. Keep it up! read more

Locally owned and operated family business. Great staff. Great car wash. They use ph balanced detergent which is easy on ceramic coating finishes and closed cel brushes that don't trap dirt. I left Sierra after 3 years because their detergents and brushes were damaging the finish on my black F150. Something to think about if you value your vehicles finish. They towel off after the wash, something that Sierra only did if they had staff, which they only did about 50% of the time. Oh, less expensive than others for multi vehicle monthly costs. read more

This car wash is beautiful. Crazy to say about a car wash but it's true. You first start with the employees rinsing your car off, even getting in the nooks most places miss. After the wash there are TWO air dryers with a third on the way. Fabulous! Once the wash is complete you exit into an inside very large and clean area to wipe and vacuum your car. The nozzle on the vacuum is shaped differently than other car wash places and actually gets in between the seat and console with amazing suction. There are mat holders you clip your floor mats onto to really get them clean. If you need to clean your car in any weather this is the place. It's all indoors so rain, snow, or shine you can keep your car looking fabulous in one stop. read more

I had a pleasant experience at this car wash. I came here solely for the ratings and they do not disappoint. Whoever is working washes your car by hand at first then afterwards they even dry your car for you. Im not a fan of drying the car afterwards so it was really nice that they do that for you. I was welcomed to this new car wash by the owner woh was very helpful and friendly. She said pull forward my daughter will start you, obviously a family business. Attendants (daughter and helper) hand washed some parts of my SUV then directed me into the machines, all brand new. The machines are quite impressive with what looks like special fabric/rubber material that cleaned every part of my car. Ten I drove to a large enclosed vacuums area, very nice. This is a new and beautiful addition to this area. The building is very cool once you get through the wash and into the huge Indoor vacuum space. Room for a bunch of cars the vacuums are super powerful. The car wash is lit up with purple lights its quiet and actually does a great job. The manager and his team are friendly and helpful.
