I'm going back. I'll be ordering the black and blue burger again. One of Fort Collins little known treasures, historical artifacts and Sunday evening live music.

Pretty certain most downtown city stores are going to ha e this rough of a time hiring anyone who remotely cares about actually working. Upon entry, there is no sign or any notification to seat ourselves. The bartender had about 4 people to attend to, and there was no attempt to say, "please sit anywhere," it literally took a regular to tell us that. So once seated, we weren't greeted with any menus or water or any direction how this place operates. The only worker we see is the bartender and she busied herself more with conversation and assisting the bar, than to at least give us a starting point. Turns out, you walk up to order your meal, or your water, or even place an inquiry about menus. Which each time, the said bartender was quite dissatisfied with our assurance. Once all of that interaction was done. We finally got our meals. Now, I can see why people come here, it's genuinely good food. Not to mention their ciders are pretty on point. It just sucks that the service was just so aweful.

I absolutely love this place! We come every other year from Denver and it gets better each time. The hard ciders are really good. I recommend the flight because you get to choose from eight different flavors. I really enjoyed pumpkin, peach, and Lemon water. The food was also very good. We had the chicken nachos. We met the owner and she was very nice. I'd highly recommend this place for any type of get together! It's a great low key vibe.

The food and drinks are always perfection and incredible. The employees there feel like family and they always go out of their way to give you great service. This is my 3rd time there and it never disappoints. Best espresso martinis in town!! The ciders are super fresh and I love that they always have games or a different event almost every time I'm there. I LOVE Scrumpy's!!!

I have been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. The food and ciders are delicious, and the service is good. Awesome spot to hang out in Fort Collins.

If you like ciders this is the place for you in FoCo! We stopped into Scrumpy's for a quick beverages and a small bite. There are plenty of cider La to select from and the bartender gave us some great recommendations (I.e. ordering two and combing them because the flavors meld well together). The second bartender has us with a full on sampling of beverages we were debating on since I prefer more drier ciders. We orders two appetizers - buffalo tots and spinach and artichoke dip, both were good. The tots were a nice vegetarian alternative to buffalo wings and there was just the right amount t of buffalo flavor/sauce that they weren't overwhelming. The bread that came with the spinach and attics dip was on point! Crispy but a little soft in the middle! If your in the area, spot in grab a pint and an app!

While doing what people do in Fort Collins (drinking all the beer + beverages you can get your hands on), my husband and I stopped in at Scrumpy's. Scrumpy's has a huge menu of ciders + beer - amazing how many cider flavors they have! It took me a few minutes to scan the menu & decide what to get, and the lady behind the counter was kind enough to let me sample whatever I wanted. I only sampled one and it's the one I got - the campfire! I liked it because it wasn't too sweet but it had a really good flavor. My husband opted for a beer - the Sad Panda Coffee Stout (always a good choice). We only sat in for one drink, but the atmosphere was really great with a fireplace in the back and booths throughout. I'd come back here to check out their food + more drinks!

Pleasantly surprised with the ambiance at Scrumpys. Think a mix of a donut/coffee shop and a brewery with some sweet eclectic furniture and decor! I appreciated the variety of ciders on tap and tried the bartenders suggestion. I'm not much of a cider person but they have some that aren't as sweet. They've also got some beers on tap top(my brother in law ordered one and not sure if the tap line wasnt clean or the beer was skunked but it tasted off) I didn't realize they have donuts at certain times as well! I will be back to try them the next time I'm in fort Collins

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

We started with a beer for my husband and a mocktail for me. The mocktail (blueberry lemonade) was simply not worth the $7 price tag. Mostly ice - filled to the literal rim of the glass. So full when I took one of my first sips, ice fell to the floor. There was just a splash of ginger beer; it could've used more but, alas, no room with all that ice! When I mentioned it to the server, she explained that's how they make them. She offered to bring me another, but it seemed clear she meant I'd be paying for it. No thank you. Next, my food. I tried the salmon burger (new to the menu, I'm told) which is actually a salmon croquette on a bun with some lettuce and vinaigrette. It's HUGE and not in a good way. The first few bites were okay, and I thought the heavily breaded effect was due to biting into the edge. As I continued eating, though, most bites felt like a mouthful of bread. I can only hope there was minced salmon in it, but the ratio was so heavy on breadcrumbs that I couldn't detect it. Not the slightest hint of pink on the inside either. I ate about 1/2, my hungry hub finished it. The flaws of the salmon burger didn't seem worth pointing out to the server after the response I got with the drink. Later, as we walked around downtown, I felt like I had a lead sandwich in my stomach. My husband had a better experience than I. His bison burger came out great. No complaints. Unfortunately for me, I think I'll just have to order very specific things when coming here now. Austin's has sentimental value for me - it's the first place we dined after moving here 27 years ago. Because of that, I keep giving them second chances after they fall short. I just wish they'd return to the days of "you can't go wrong", everything is awesome.

The Regional Salad held its own as a side. Beer, wine, and full bar are all well stocked, and the bar itself was packed with what looked like regulars catching up. Service was friendly from the door to the table. No complaints there. Heads up on the noise. For the first 15 minutes we couldn't hear the couple sitting across from us.
