Usually my husband washes it, but we've both been busy, and with gardening season I had spilled mulch, leaking soil bags, mud, etc. in the trunk and it has gotten pretty bad. There was also dog hair that was clinging onto the felt parts of my Tesla. I wish I had some "before" pictures to show the difference. This was actually the first time I've ever had my car detailed in the 5 years I've owned it, so I didn't totally know what to expect, but I was really impressed. Dennislee spent around 4 hours on it, working hard to get out grime from places I didn't even realize were dirty. He got rid of all the caked-on dirt and stains in the trunk, and cleaned all of the door/trunk jambs which, if you own a Tesla you know, get super dirty and required targeted cleaning. He cleaned my windshield so well it was like I was seeing out of a sparkling view I hadn't seen since the day I got the car. I was also pleasantly surprised by the steering wheel cover and paper foot mats he left at the end to preserve the pristine-ness. Overall it looks almost brand new now and the difference is kind of crazy. It was so convenient for me--he came to me, brought all the supplies and water. His pricing felt very fair, and you can tell he actually cares about doing a thorough job. I really admire people who take pride in their work and I felt that with Splash & Shine. I was referred to IMD from a friend and these guys are easy going guys that do a great job. I know that other car washes near me charge about $50-60 to wash the outside only. Some of them don't even use microfiber cloths and scratch your car. Interstate Mobile Detailing always uses soft microfiber cloths and they wash your car with DI water (DEIONIZED WATER is water that has been stripped of minerals, which lead to little/no water spots). Most places will wash your car with regular water and finish with "spot free rinse" (DI water).. Interstate does the ENTIRE WASH with DI water. The results speak for themselves. I had them come to my office to wash my car, which was most efficient for me. Once he arrived, I unlocked the car and came back about an hour later to inspect it and give the OK. Very easy to work with. Eventually I had them come out to the house and wash all of my cars. They are great guys and I highly recommend you giving them a call.
