We recently moved to the area and I came in on Monday because I saw this was one of the few salons…read moreoffering Gel-X services nearby. I was excited to find a salon that advertised Gel-X, and my pedicure was great. Unfortunately, my Gel-X experience was disappointing. During the service, the technician cut several of my cuticles while working around the nail bed. I left with cuts and bleeding on multiple fingers, and two days later my cuticles are still burning and sore. I've attached photos showing the injuries. The Gel-X application was also not applied flush to the cuticle line, leaving noticeable gaps that make the set look grown out immediately. When I asked about it, the technician told me they don't do Gel-X very often. I think it's important for anyone specifically seeking Gel-X services to be aware of my experience. While my pedicure was good, I would not return for Gel-X nails.

I've had my makeup done by several artists and I've never had such a poorly done look. I am by no means a makeup artist but for many years have loved makeup and doing makeup. I've spent time to research what the best products are, best brushes are and what the best application is for the products. Because of my love for makeup, the bride wanted me to pick the looks and talk to the artists about what we wanted. The bride paid for the whole bridal party to get their hair and makeup done. I was one of the first of five bridesmaids to get their glam done. I felt like the entire process was rushed, I noticed that the tools that were being used were not good and would have poorly blended the products (which was evident from the pictures attached). The tools were also rough and so was the artist. I noticed that the artist was using a wedge to put on my foundation, so I just offered my beauty blender, she looked at me a bit surprised that I mentioned it. Once she started using it she just rubbed the product on, when you use a beauty blender to blot on the foundation which gives it that airbrush, blended look. I will attach a few pictures to this review. The face comparison: Left: Make up after the artist from Bella Beauty was done. My cheek looks black, and dirty, my face is a different color from my neck, you can see all my pores. Per the request of the bride, I took the makeup artist directly in front of a window, so she could see how bad the final look was. She didn't offer to help me fix it, she didn't offer to refund the bride, she didn't apologize, she just simply said "oh yeah, I see it". Right: My makeup after *I* completely redid the whole look. The only thing I didn't wipe off and start over with was my shadow, instead I used fluffy blending brush and some burgundy shades to blend out better, added a shimmer in the inner former, highlighted my brow bone, and then I fixed the winged liner. Next picture: The eyeshadow we picked vs. what we got from the artist Another bridesmaids winged liner was curving down, she ended up redoing her whole look too. There was one more bridesmaid that didn't redo her whole face but had to go back and fix a lot of areas, her face was dark around the eyes and cheeks were like mine were. Thankfully my group was the first to go because I think it helped with the other girls. The last few girls that went ended up looking fine!! I will say that everyone's hair looked amazing and stayed put all night, would recommend for hair but not makeup. Once again, it is just disappointing that the artist had nothing to say once she saw how bad it looked. Weddings are so expensive, especially makeup, I'm not sure how much the bride paid but I definitely think she needs something back for this.

Getting JUST a pedicure is a small luxury I like to treat ourselves once in a blue moon. For 2 pedicures it cost $74 - one pedicure had NO POLISH. I asked for a receipt for a breakdown and they just gave me a list with options and the final price. WHERE WAS THE BREAKDOWN?! It's bec they don't want you to know they charged you for stuff you didn't ask for, OR TOLD YOU! Will NOT be coming here again, polish job was fine.
