Well letting people know come at your own "RISK" because he will CHEAT you out of your money even though his seamstress FUCKED UP and forgotten to do few things on some of my pants i brought in Mid April and just now noticed didn't do the work on my last pair i just put on on last Friday and noticed the button was coming off and the pockets weren't done so i brought them back and right away he has a RUDE ATTITUDE as i was trying to show and tell him and i had to say stop it and let me speak. So i told him and he was like well here is $4.00 for the button that wasn't done right but refused give me the rest of the money i paid it on the pockets as you can see they didn't Effing do them. I told him you need to FIRE her because i also said im not the only one who has been complaining on Yelp about you and your seamstress who doesn't know WTF she is doing! Lesson learned looked at everything before you taking home and never never pay until you see everything and go over how much was everything was? RUN RUN RUN and by pass this Businesse who clearly doesn't care about his Customers! The Scary part he is the owner of this business that his parents owned and knew how to deal with the customers and made sure they were happy everytime and if not they would fixed the problem ASAP! Glad I chose Sea Breeze Cleaners for tailoring; got two pants hemmed with keeping the original hem, and they turned out perfectly. One pair was some vintage jeans, and the other was a pair of brand new Carhartt carpenter pants. Keeping the original hem was the shop's suggestion, and I didn't know that was something that tailors could do until now. I'm glad this is an option because I much prefer the look of the original natural hem. Sea Breeze was responsive over text as well, which let me know when they'd be open and helped me ultimately choose them. Recently brought in a dress with large areas of white that had very visible dirty marks. I pointed this out when I dropped it off and when I picked up the dress and examined it when I got home, not only were the marks still there but all of the white part looked dingy! Looked much dirtier than when I dropped off. I took the risk and ran I through my regular washer on the delicate setting with regular detergent and the dress looks brand new, not sure what they did at the dry cleaners that made it so gray-ish but glad I was able to remedy it myself. read more

I take all my suits and collared white shirts here for dry cleaning. Justin is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to whether he's able to get it clean for you or not. He went out of his way to remove gum off my sneaker once, and it worked! His prices are great, and everything is done in a timely fashion! When he says pick it up on this date, know that it'll be ready by then! They're really reliable! I would recommend any one in the neighborhood to go to Sea Breeze. I live all the way out in Sunset and I make it a point to get all my cleaning needs done here! They also do hemming for pants. I still love this place. They do particularly fine work with vintage and delicate clothing. Also, unless I am going to wash my sweaters myself, I would not trust them to anyone else. I have never had any hemming or major alterations done here, simply because that is the sort of thing I take to a proper tailor. They do fine work on simple repairs and zipper replacement, however. I am tough on my clothes, and they make them look new again. I could not ask for better service. read more

In a desperate need to do laundry, I went to the coin-operated laundromat section of this business. $2.00 for the washer and $0.25 per 8 minutes for the dryer. The equipment is fairly old, but seemed to have gotten the job done. They have a couch and a desk to do work or read while you're waiting (if you're one of those people who waits...I'm not). All-in-all, expensive, dirty, blah. I'm going to try an find somewhere else. Update: All right, I totally changed my mind about this place. After going a few more times due to proximity, I found that the staff was super-friendly and the machines aren't in that horrible of shape. Some reviews said the front desk guy isn't the nicest. He is friendly enough, not a "Hi, hello, good morning ma'am" type - but he is never rude. Just not super talkative. There are no words; in fact, I joined Yelp to write a review for Sea Breeze. I first brought in a bag of true gems, including the following: 1) A whiter than blindingly white suit coat, which I was wearing when I allowed the artists at the NARS counter to make me over. Oops. Hello, black eyeshadow dust; 2) A white cotton pea coat, which had pen markings all over the sleeve; and 3) My favorite white pants, adorned with NYC winter sludge on the hems and back, which my previous cleaner had been unable to remove. All three items were returned to me in amazing condition. My suit coat and pea coat looked brand new, and they managed to lighten the stains on the pants to the point of being barely noticeable. Second visit: After a particularly no-good-very-bad day, a pen poking out of a small hole in the bottom of my bag drew the equivalent of a toddler's art project ALL OVER my pant leg. My white pant leg, of the aforementioned favorite pants. Naturally. When I brought them in, I had doused them in Shout; the ink had smeared and bled all over. These things were a mess. The man working took one look at them and told me he didn't think anything could be done, but that they could try, if I wanted. When I returned, he produced them with NO TRACE of any spot on them. Literally. No. Spots. (I still cannot get over the fact that the ink came out, and these things are in pristine condition.) A+! I will definitely be frequenting Sea Breeze. The front desk guy isn't "rude". He's shy. He always has treats for my dogs when I come to drop off or pick up my cleaning, and even though he doesn't say much, he's kind and he's pleasant to deal with. As for the dry-cleaning, these guys are great. If you can't pick up your cleaning before they close, they will leave it at the video store across the street for you. This is vital to us, as my husband travels a ton for work and often needs to make a quick exchange of clean shirts before he's off to a new place at 5am the next morning. A+, Sea Breeze. read more

This place is great. Granted, some times it's closed at some odd times, but it's family run, so I understand. The guy who takes my clothes is the same one every time. He always recommends that I dry clean everything to save on the fabric, but I point out that the instructions with the shirt says to not dry clean it, and he doesn't push his point. I always trust them to clean my cashmere properly and they never disappoint. They were even able to get a really bad stain out of one of my jackets. Highly recommend. read more

Think before getting alterations done here! I took two pairs of pants - a pair of jeans and another twill pant which is just slightly lighter in fabric to get altered here. I'm not a regular customer and went off the yelp reviews (my bad). I told the person at the front desk I like the length of the twill pants and would like to alter the jeans to the length of those. He measured the length etc. and we were good. I picked them up yesterday and they are much shorter than the twill pants. I am not a tall person. I specifically bought these so that I can wear them with heels for work. ...not anymore. Upon calling the establishment, I was told that these are two diff fabrics etc. They will not fall the same way. WTH? If this is your profession and I am coming int o get something altered why was there no mention of this before? Very disappointed. There go my $98 jeans. read more

Seabreeze Cleaners is a GREAT place. Multi-generational-- The orignal owner's son Justin can be quiet but, once he knows you, he is THE MAN. His mother, Lisa, RIP, was an extrovert, 180 degrees from Justin. She was a wonderful, sweet woman, with a straight-up business demeanor, but this loving, smart lady's quick wit made her a really funny woman. Seabreeze is always busy, with people milling around behind the counter. She never told us, but I KNOW she was giving us breaks. When we had our first kid, she gave us a VERY generous red envelope. My ignorant Hispanic butt didn't even know this Chinese custom could extend to newborns. I think there used to be another Seabreeze run by her husband on Guerrero Street or somewhere in the Mish. In early days Seabreeze even had (and still may have?) a small room for alterations. They patiently redid my alteration for some reason -- without fuss. will trust them with absolutely ANYTHING. Justin, carrying many of his mother's admirable character and quality, including a positive attitude, has stepped up admirably and carried on his business in the top-flight manner his parents would have admired. Seabreeze staff are efficient in things like carefully keeping contact info. The receipt system is clear, efficient, informative, with safeguards to prevent any mixups. They carefully check any clothing and are quick to point out details. And -- the place is immaculate interesting -- large enough to allow neighborhood posters and announcements. Parking is a bit trying on that block -- but, do-able. But if you want a professional, high-quality cleaning service -- stain-free, damage-free, and mixup-free, try Seabreeze. Quick and low cost! I mean, I have only been to one to two other dry cleaner shops in NorCal and they are on the Easy Bay. This is the first dry cleaner experience after I moved up to SF and it was wonderful! Came here to drop off 1 pair of suits and 1 jacket on a Monday morning, and was told they would be ready by Wednesday evening. The whole transaction process was very quick, and most importantly it only costs $17.5. I am not sure about other places but the one I went to it would definitely cost more than $20 and take 3 whole days at least unless requesting an expedite. I don't think I need to bother trying other cleaner shops. This is very good enough for me. read more

I recently got back from some travels and my clothes reeked of cigarette smoke. I took 4 coats to be cleaned and they did a great job of getting the odor out for an unbelievably low total of $40. The claim receipt was a bit hard to make out and I initially thought it said $68 so we were pleasantly surprised when we picked it up at the lower cost. For the record I didn't experience rudeness at all. No, I wasn't greeted by a bubbly, beaming person nor did we engage in any small talk (which I don't ever care to do anyway) but my exchange with the employee was perfectly fine in my opinion. I'm dropping my cleaner (which is closer to my home but slower and costlier) and will be driving out slightly further with my dry cleaning to Sea Breeze going forward. read more

I really love this place---it's my go-to local dry cleaners. I use them a lot for dresses and blouses, and they do a tremendous job getting out my stains completely. I've also used them for repairs---and they do a great job there as well---whether it's replacing a button, sewing up a torn split, or repairing a hole in the dress, I've been extremely satisfied with their work. I also really like the "front desk guy" and am really sad I don't remember his name so I could call him by it. But I think he's very nice. And I think it's very true about how they will go the extra mile if you just ask. read more

My wife wrote a review below about how her jeans were tailored too short, so you can see her review for the picture of what this place did. I'm adding this review since I went with her, and it was basically the worst treatment I've EVER received by a business. I see a lot of good reviews of this place so maybe they got lucky, but that was in no way our experience at all. Here's a pre-cap in case you don't feel like reading my whole rant: 1) ruined a $100 pair of jeans, on the simplest alteration you could do (make this thing the length of the other thing) 2) was immediately skeptical and rude about it on first visit 3) was dismissive, unhelpful and rude immediately on second visit when asked for help 4) told me to go fuck myself and get out of the store or they'll call the cops 5) accused us of trying to swindle them (which, he never bothered to look at the jeans) The first time we came in to show them the badly botched pants (for something extremely simple, I have to repeat) they guy at the counter took them, laid them out, and then said in a fairly rude tone, "so what you want to do about it? Huh? What do you want? You want a refund?". Uh, okay, how but an apology for starts, guy? He told us to talk to the owner, Justin, who wasn't there at the time. You can see my wife's post for how that went (basically, it's the customer's fault seems to be the go to line around this place). We went back a second time to see if Justin was there late afternoon this Saturday and this tall white guy named Doug was working the front. We were bringing out the pants to show him as a lead into asking for Justin, but he immediately said, "uhh I don't do that sort of thing" and then basically brushed us off and went to go do something else. Well, uh, we were going to ask if Justin is here, but okay? So we tried again when he came around again and was told Justin isn't in. I forget the details of the rest of the convo here, but overall he was being rather rude and dismissive the whole time, the gist of it all being "no one here can help you, go away". We flag down the original guy we saw to ask him cuz this Doug guy was being so unhelpful, and while we're talking to him, Doug comes over and whines that Justin isn't here so he shouldn't talk to us. All the interaction has been with my wife so far, but I've been slowly getting angry this whole time, and the fact that he's interrupting our convo with another employee to be a dick just blows my top. So I straight up ask, "why are you giving us such an attitude?" At this point it goes nuclear, and I admit I didn't come out of it smelling like roses either. Basically it was like Trump vs Hillary. He screws up his face, snarls "you're giving me attitude, no one can help you!" I said, "I'm not, you're being rude to my wife and unhelpful for no reason." We get into it, exchange some insults, and in the next few minutes he tells me to go fuck myself and get out of the store, or he'll call the cops. He accuses of us trying to swindle them... which uh you never even bothered to look at the pants so how would you know? And it's very telling that your initial thought when a customer comes to you with a problem is that they're trying to swindle you. The other employee was somewhat apologetic, but it basically just ended with him writing our phone number down and that was it, so we just left. ------ I will strongly say you should never, ever go to this business. Maybe they'll do a good job and your interactions with them will go well.. but maybe they won't and it'll be one of the worst experiences you've had with a business. I would suggest you don't take the chance and go elsewhere. Oh and Doug should never be allowed to work a job that interacts with a customer directly ever again. His employer should know I wouldn't have posted this review and just let the process work itself out if it weren't for my interaction with him. read more

I took in my favorite old jacket, which was white. Emphasis on "was". The jacket was really stained, and when I got it back, it looked way better than I thought it would.
