Well the menu looked very good , I only ordered a hamburger and fries to go . The ice tea was fresh and brewed .I talked to the owner and he was very sincere about having a great place to eat . I will definitely be back to try the seafood . read more

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. It was close and convenient. We noticed the prices as a bit high, but, since it came well recommended we thought - OK. I had the shrimp basket and my wife had the catfish basket. I must say the shrimp itself and the catfish were well cooked and tasted OK. However, the rolls were just cold store bought Hawaiian rolls like you buy at Kroger. No butter served with. So, my wife asked for butter and they couldn't give her any. For an extra $.50 they brought here melted butter. Weird but, oh well. We complained to a waitress when she came by to ask if everything was good. The manager walked by our table several times but wouldn't make eye contact. All in all I have to say it was not worth the price. I don't mind paying really high prices but not for store bought cold rolls without butter. Sorry, just can't recommend. By the way, Mr. Manager - you seem a bit cowardly for a manager. If you had just had the courage to speak to us, your restaurant would not have received a bad review. You sealed the deal! read more

First of all, the owner is a super nice guy. He gets in the kitchen and works with his employees. Secondly, the employees we encountered were get nice and had fun personalities. Thirdly, the food was quite good. I had chicken and shrimp and the chicken was different than I expected, but really good. The shrimp was well seasoned and had a good flavor. I just wish the shrimp themselves were the larger Gulf shrimp I'm accustomed to eating. I would like to return again sometime and try one of the mixed boils. read more

Without a doubt, the best seafood in the mid south area. Everything was cooked perfectly including sides. These people know what they are doing. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommended and will be heading back next week. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant every time that I come in this area and spend over a 100 dollars every time on their food but I never will again. I never had a problem at this restaurant until tonight, but as I was ordering my food on the phone and asking about the spice level of there seafood bags the woman that answered the phone got very agitated with me and had the most nastiest attitude I ever experienced. She would never give me an answer so I asked her could she place some spice in a cup and she told me that they don't do that anymore at their restaurant and hurried up and hanged the phone up on me. When I call back to the restaurant to add to my order, the staff deliberately didn't answer the phone and it continued to ring until the manager answered. When I got to the window to pick up my order the girl at the restaurant had a very nasty attitude she gave me my first order that was prepared and she told me with a very snappy voice that I need to spin my car around cause the people's car behind me their food is ready. This type of ungrateful and careless behavior will ruin a business but they definitely lost a customer. read more

Overprice food not worth it! I like to spend my money where it is appreciated, their customer service SUCKS! Go to Crab Island on Union Ave way better!! Have you ever went thru a drive thru line spending over $100 which usually its know to say before we start your order you have to be here (ok, no big deal just an addition 20 mins, sure no problem[because I was not informed this over the phone, but no biggie]). But my issue is after patiently waiting, I did NOT receive my full order (I tried again to look the other way). Thankfully, I realize this before I got back home, I drove around back to the drive thru for them to RUDELY look back MULTIPLE times "not" seeing me... Then I am like okay they do "not" see me, their apparent doorbell does NOT work, and your employees does NOT attend to their customers fairly. The young Blonde child pretended to be frighten when I gently tapped on the window while in my vehicle since they wanted to ignore me. Like Gee IM SORRY YOU forgot to put my order ALL my $100 food in MY BAG! I was not upset until the worker RUDELY ignore me and wanted to pretend to be frighten. User's recommendation: Always check your order, if you are near here go to Crab Island on Union Ave, Memphis, TN WAY better customer service!! read more

This is my first Yelp review. I saved it for a place that was going to blow me away... The Seafood Shack impressed me so much with the quality of their seafood, but the service was great as well. They gave us a free sampler plate of live-cooked crawfish, which is obviously seasonal and not always around. The gator bites were amazing, and all of the platters that we ordered were HUGE! To top it off, it was very clean as well! Lobster tail was great, steak, shrimp, fish, wow! All 8 of my party left this place extremely satisfied with plenty left over. Highly recommended. Oh yeah, we are from TX and just happened upon this place which was close to our motel. Too bad it's not closer to home. read more

Awesome seafood and in the mid south to boot!! This place always impresses with delicious food. Atmosphere is laid back sports bar family setting. If your coming through the 55/40 interchange head to Marion, AR and enjoy some really good food! It is a little pricy but worth it as this is not your regular sports bar food! read more

Everything was good but the catfish. Come on we are in the South you got to get catfish right. Very muddy tasting and soaked with oil. Everything else was good. So it a good SEAFOOD place, shrimp, gator all that ok just don't order the catfish. Service was excellent! read more

So we've ate here about 5 times food has always been good we enjoy it. But today I called my order in at 5:09 they told me 20-30 minutes. We got the Atlantic and calamari and fried pickles got there at 5:23 they handed me fried pickles and calamari told me to drive back around so they can get the car behind me. I get back to the window about 5:28 two more people pull in behind me they tell me to make the loop again lol getting frustrated at this point not mad yet. Get back to the window at 5:45 they tell me to go park I asked if they could re make the fried items since they been in my car for 20 minutes getting cold and disgusting they refuse since they've been in my car what does that matter sorry can't do it again. I tell them I just want my money back then magically my order is ready. She asks if I still want my money back this point I'm just angry and hungry I get my food and tell her I won't be back! $109 and $5 tip you think they wouldn't be so rude but nope. Poopchutes still in the shrimp, ewwwwwww! If you like some deep fried feces, then check out this place. Food is incredibly salty and greasy, but the shrimp aren't deveined so you have that flavor going for you. I was a little surprised that they didn't offer to comp the dish, but instead, they took the plate "to the manager" and then threw it away, claiming I'd eaten the shrimp (uh, gross, why would I do that??). If you read the other reviews, you'll see some people had a good meal, so I guess it's hit or miss. Either that, or their food was deep fried and they didn't see what they were eating. read more
