Wife and I stopped in for lunch on a friday. We were greeted immediately by out host (forgot the girl's name) and asked were we wanted to sit. Our waiter was Jesse, he was fantastic. We loved the 70/80s vibe and the dim lighting was perfect. Our booth was very spacious. The bathrooms were very nice and spotless. I ordered the boogie nights pizza and she had the highbrow pasta. She said her pasta was great. My pizza was excellent. Everything went great on the pizza, lots of flavor. Crust had a nice crisp as well. We both only could eat half of our entrees. Holy crap ya'll this place is so good. Me and the girls went for a night out on a Sunday and it was packed. Definitely make a reservation. Started with the night moves cocktail, perfect balance, appetizers were fried cheese and fritters. They had amazing flavor and perfect amount of crunch. We shared a pizza, pasta, and burger, all perfectly executed. Pizza wasn't soggy, burger cooked to perfect temperature, pasta creamy, can't complain about a single dish. We finished the night off with the baked apple cinnamon roll and I can't even begin to describe the perfect mesh of richness and delicacy the dessert offers. The service, LO IS THE BEST!!!! This place opened recently and you would have no idea. 5/5 stars is not enough for this place and it honestly deserves a 6-star review. I'm starting with service. It was perfection. The service we received here was better than we've received at significantly more expensive places in the area. There was a social media manager in the waiting area helping out and she was truly incredible and gave us some amazing recommendations and even offered a free drink while we were waiting. Next level attention to detail. The hostess/manager Chelsea learned our name and checked in on us a few times as well. And that doesn't discount our incredible server who checked on us constantly. Drinks. As a basic millennial, I love a creative cocktail menu more than I should, and these drinks delivered. Banana bread old fashioned. Perfection. Food was also incredible. We had a veggie board appetizer, the boogie nights pizza with fried chicken and pickles (legendary), and the Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. Vibes. It's a dimly lit restaurant with a lounge vibe. There are tvs scattered around for watching the game, and the music is mostly classic and fits the environment. It's extremely comfortable. Its so good the menu indicates there's a 2 drink maximum. Let me break down the food the chicken was fried very well extra crispy the batter on the chicken was very very salty the chicken meat was not seasoned I guess they're depending on the flavor from the batter to capture a taste of the chicken. There was so much batter on the chicken I had to remove it to eat the meat. The restaurant should consider advising the customer that the chicken is heavily seasoned and give them an option to change it to light seasoning. I like salt but it was too much for my palate. potato wedges were simply amazing and the Caesar salad only needed a little more dressing which we were able to ask for that. Since it was our first time I was reluctant to send the chicken back , if we return again I will send the chicken back and ask for light seasoning. We decided to try something other than a nice steak house for Valentine's Day. And I am so glad we did. We had a reservation and were warmly seated immediately. The hostesses were very busy, but treated us like we were the only ones there. They saw in the notes it was our first time and they genuinely seemed excited to have us. This was such a wonderful way to make a guest feel welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. We were quickly greeted and our drink orders were taken. Mind you, the restaurant was already busy and we received our drinks in a matter of minutes. Our server, Amber, walked us through the menu and offered some excellent choices. We started with Casio E Pepe Fritters. These were simply amazing. Do not use the side sauce if you don't like spicy. Ask for a side of marinara. Personally, I loved the Calabrian Chile sauce. We then decided to share 1/2 of a fried chicken and the Blues Brothers pizza. This might be the best fried chicken I have ever had. It wasn't greasy at all and the flavors were spot on. It comes with a delicious hot honey on the side and some green sauce they call green stuff. The only way to describe it, is an herby creamy explosion for your taste buds. Normally, when restaurants "specialize" in pizza and other stuff, everything falls flat. I'm a pizza snob from NY and I will tell you this pizza was delicious. The sauce, itself, was almost the star. All the flavors flowed so well together. The pizza, filled with toppings, actually tasted "light". Almost refreshing in a weird way. If you like places like Cane Rosso, you will love the pizza here. We ordered a side of the shells and cheese casserole. It was good and creamy. It could use some salt and that was the only "negative" thing about this place. As far as desert, they have only 2 choices and we tried both. The butterfinger ice box pie is just a fork full of delicious decadence in every bite. As for the baked apple cinnamon roll, it's a must try. I don't even like cinnamon rolls and this cinnamon roll, slash croissant, has perfect texture. Accompanied by an apple compote and vanilla ice cream, in itself, is just pure bliss. Everything about our dinner here was fabulous. The team helps each other out and are very friendly. The food was delicious and the ambiance was wonderful. They play a lot of oldies but goodies. From Barry Manilow's Copa Cabana, to some AC/DC, to some good old 80's and 70's music, the music just adds to the experience here. This is one of the better restaurants around in DFW, let alone Plano. We truly had a phenomenal experience here. read more

Yeah, so we saw the buzz, and I was drawn especially to the promise of great fried chicken. I love fried chicken. (For reference, Chicken Scratch down in Bishop Arts was my favorite until they closed.) We went on a Thursday night, day after Christmas, early--5-5.30ish. No reservations. Felt like they wanted to treat us special even though we had no reservations. Dave? said they had a reservation later for a table that they wanted to give us--would 1.5 hours be enough? Nope. We're like Italians, don't want to be rushed. Not sure but it felt like they moved things around for us. We got a great table. Great server. We had the crab rangoon dip--gotta be a crab Rangoon fan for this, but it's good. We did the focaccia. Pepper jelly is legit. Let's talk about the fried chicken. So good. Someone posted about breading being too thick. I get that. But I feel like that's a preference thing. The chicken was PERFECTLY brined. Someone posted about it being salty, but seriously, IYKYK. The flavor of the chicken makes whatever they do to that crust (that you might not prefer) forgivable. I got the mac and cheese side. It's now my #1. For reference, my #1 was Holy Grail in Plano. So gruyere-y. But this mac is perfectly seasoned. Don't let the thinness of the sauce fool you. The flavor goes all the way through. My husband ordered the chicken parm sand. I think he liked it. I think I tried a bite of the chicken. Honestly, I was too distracted. We did the apple cinnamon roll dessert thing. Someone posted that it was the star dish. We tried this restaurant for the first time last week. The atmosphere was great. Our waiter, Garrett, was fantastic. We were new to the restaurant so he gave us plenty of time to look at the menu but checked with us frequently and stayed close by til we were ready to order.. Perfect!!! We could not make up our mind between the pizza and Caesar salad or the chicken and Caesar salad. We decided on the pizza and he gave us each a piece of chicken to try as well. The pizza was awesome. The salad was awesome. We came back a few days later and had the chicken. It was great as well. The chicken is super crispy and not a lot of extraneous spices. It was delicious. Stacking plates right on top of us which most of the staff did. Not professional at all. Had to wait for silverware after our food was served. We flagged our server down and told him. He wandered off, grabbed our silverware, got on his mobile ordering device then went to speak to another table for 4-5 minutes while we waited to eat. Just rude, bad service. The food and service were impeccable. My wife and I started with the banana bread old fashioned, sex on the beach. And crab Rangoon dip. The drinks were on point and did not skip on the booze. I mean if your paying $$ for a drink it better include alcohol and the flavor and alcohol content of these two drinks did not disappoint. The crab Rangoon dip was so flavorful and the sweet & sour sauce and wanton chips brought it all together. If you like crab Rangoon I recommend it. My wife order the chicken Carmy sandwich which comes on homemade focaccia bread. The sandwich was really well done and you could tell that there was attention to detail for the dish. She loved it and gave me a bite and I agree. The waiter did tell us that the fried chicken, main dishes and sharable's as well as pizza were all meant to be family style. We also got broccolini, Jojo's potatoes and the shells and cheese casserole. The broccolini was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The potatoes were crispy on the outside soft on the end season just right and hot in temperature. The shells and cheese casserole tasted fine, but wish it was a little bit more cheesy it still tasted great. I got the half fried chicken and was only able to eat two pieces. It came with hot honey and a green sauce which I think was similar to a pesto.. Our waiter Jacob said that this was some of the best fried chicken that he's ever had and I agree with him. It's been some of the best fried chicken I've had in Texas. I definitely recommend Seager & Sons and can't wait to bring my family and friends. read more
