Wow! This is a don't miss place. You're greeted with a moody sexy whiskey room vibe. We had dinner at the bar, make sure you ask for Michelle or Dalton they were the absolute best, & we eat out a lot. Friendly amazing service and the food!!!! What a fantastic experience. From the minute we stepped in to the restaurant to when we left, the staff could not have been more warm, friendly and helpful. It was the vibe that drew us in - 70's inspired, adorned in era details, vinyl records in abundance. But the service and food more than holds their own. Our server Ray was everything! Super cool, pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. That last piece seems like a gimme but wow it rarely is. Ray knew his menu and did a great job educating us to inform decisions. Aside from the cool 70s theme, their food is meant to be modern takes on 70s staples. Ray nailed our drink orders. I told him the booze I can get with and preferences, he dialed up the Everyday Is Like Sunday cocktail (shout out to The Smiths!) and was perfect. They do a lot of mocktails too and my husband dug his sex on the beach take. Crab Rangoon dip was likely the biggest winner- serious deliciousness and not fishy. The fritters were on point - the lemon helps cut the richness. Fried mozzarella: who doesn't love fried cheese? But I stopped ordering it decades ago as naturally unhealthy and most places didn't fry them well enough or use good enough cheese to justify the unhealthy choice. Not here, def tasty. We also got the Brussels sprout and BLT salads. What I LOVED about the BLT salad is their updated dressing, a blue cheese vinaigrette. First off this restaurant is gorgeous on the inside!! They have themed it to 70s and 80s music so the atmosphere is awesome too!! What a great place for happy hour. The drinks and small bites are fantastic. Loved the focaccia!!! I was a little underwhelmed with the rest of the menu though - it's pretty limited. Walked in and was greeted by smiles. That's a number one requirement for any establishment. No snob attitude nor dry welcome. The entire place has a total VIBE that made me feel like I was in a swanky 70's (yet modern) country club, I think the vinyls gave me that feeling. One of the cooler restaurants I've been to in a while. Their decor and ambiance is great. We tried several cocktails including the Hotel California margarita and Leaving on a paper plane. Went here for happy hour last week with a group of friends. We got some of the happy hour apps which were yummy and good portions! My friend and I split a cauliflower crust pizza- little too much pepperoni and not enough sauce, but good flavor. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is our service wasn't the greatest and never came around with refills for waters or ask if we needed another drink. I would definitely like to go back and sit on the patio when it's cooler and try some more food. read more

Wife and I stopped in for lunch on a friday. We were greeted immediately by out host (forgot the girl's name) and asked were we wanted to sit. Our waiter was Jesse, he was fantastic. We loved the 70/80s vibe and the dim lighting was perfect. Our booth was very spacious. The bathrooms were very nice and spotless. I ordered the boogie nights pizza and she had the highbrow pasta. She said her pasta was great. My pizza was excellent. Everything went great on the pizza, lots of flavor. Crust had a nice crisp as well. We both only could eat half of our entrees. This place opened recently and you would have no idea. 5/5 stars is not enough for this place and it honestly deserves a 6-star review. I'm starting with service. It was perfection. The service we received here was better than we've received at significantly more expensive places in the area. There was a social media manager in the waiting area helping out and she was truly incredible and gave us some amazing recommendations and even offered a free drink while we were waiting. Next level attention to detail. The hostess/manager Chelsea learned our name and checked in on us a few times as well. And that doesn't discount our incredible server who checked on us constantly. Drinks. As a basic millennial, I love a creative cocktail menu more than I should, and these drinks delivered. Banana bread old fashioned. Perfection. Food was also incredible. We had a veggie board appetizer, the boogie nights pizza with fried chicken and pickles (legendary), and the Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. Vibes. It's a dimly lit restaurant with a lounge vibe. There are tvs scattered around for watching the game, and the music is mostly classic and fits the environment. It's extremely comfortable. We decided to try something other than a nice steak house for Valentine's Day. And I am so glad we did. We had a reservation and were warmly seated immediately. The hostesses were very busy, but treated us like we were the only ones there. They saw in the notes it was our first time and they genuinely seemed excited to have us. This was such a wonderful way to make a guest feel welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. We were quickly greeted and our drink orders were taken. Mind you, the restaurant was already busy and we received our drinks in a matter of minutes. Our server, Amber, walked us through the menu and offered some excellent choices. We started with Casio E Pepe Fritters. These were simply amazing. Do not use the side sauce if you don't like spicy. Ask for a side of marinara. Personally, I loved the Calabrian Chile sauce. We then decided to share 1/2 of a fried chicken and the Blues Brothers pizza. This might be the best fried chicken I have ever had. It wasn't greasy at all and the flavors were spot on. It comes with a delicious hot honey on the side and some green sauce they call green stuff. The only way to describe it, is an herby creamy explosion for your taste buds. Normally, when restaurants "specialize" in pizza and other stuff, everything falls flat. I'm a pizza snob from NY and I will tell you this pizza was delicious. The sauce, itself, was almost the star. All the flavors flowed so well together. The pizza, filled with toppings, actually tasted "light". Almost refreshing in a weird way. If you like places like Cane Rosso, you will love the pizza here. We ordered a side of the shells and cheese casserole. It was good and creamy. It could use some salt and that was the only "negative" thing about this place. As far as desert, they have only 2 choices and we tried both. The butterfinger ice box pie is just a fork full of delicious decadence in every bite. As for the baked apple cinnamon roll, it's a must try. I don't even like cinnamon rolls and this cinnamon roll, slash croissant, has perfect texture. Accompanied by an apple compote and vanilla ice cream, in itself, is just pure bliss. Everything about our dinner here was fabulous. The team helps each other out and are very friendly. The food was delicious and the ambiance was wonderful. They play a lot of oldies but goodies. From Barry Manilow's Copa Cabana, to some AC/DC, to some good old 80's and 70's music, the music just adds to the experience here. This is one of the better restaurants around in DFW, let alone Plano. We truly had a phenomenal experience here. read more

We went for lunch today. Food great. Service great. Atmosphere great. Was a last minute thing and made a birthday reservation with about 20 minute notice. They rolled out the red carpet for us. Felt like they wanted to treat us special even though we had no reservations. Dave? said they had a reservation later for a table that they wanted to give us--would 1.5 hours be enough? Nope. We're like Italians, don't want to be rushed. Not sure but it felt like they moved things around for us. We got a great table. Great server. We had the crab rangoon dip--gotta be a crab Rangoon fan for this, but it's good. We did the focaccia. Pepper jelly is legit. Let's talk about the fried chicken. So good. Someone posted about breading being too thick. I get that. But I feel like that's a preference thing. The chicken was PERFECTLY brined. Someone posted about it being salty, but seriously, IYKYK. The flavor of the chicken makes whatever they do to that crust (that you might not prefer) forgivable. I got the mac and cheese side. It's now my #1. For reference, my #1 was Holy Grail in Plano. So gruyere-y. But this mac is perfectly seasoned. Don't let the thinness of the sauce fool you. The flavor goes all the way through. My husband ordered the chicken parm sand. I think he liked it.
