Completely worthless. First tech that came totally screwed up my dryer left it working, sort of, it ran but the drum rubbed so bad that we turned it off. Then we struggled for 3 weeks to get someone else to come and fix it. Three times no one showed up at all, two other times they showed up but didn't have the parts, the last time the tech parked across the street and called me (didn't get an answer because who answers an unknown number, then texted me that he was outside my building. I ran downstairs immediately but he was gone tried to call and text him with no answer. Any call to there numbers goes directly to an automated scheduling line there is no way to talk to an actual person. The last time i "talked" to the robot it said that someone would call me that was 5 days ago. No calls! DO NOT USE!! I'm sure these 5 star reviews are all fake. read more

Be prepared to have your time held hostage. We had appointment set up for two weeks in advance and had to take a day off work for this 4 hour window between 8am and 12pm. They call at 1145 and say they won't be able to make it till September 11th which is 2 weeks out. I am be pissed off right missed out and 8 hours of over time pay and have to take another day off. Two people came so I'm not sure which one I'm reviewing. They told me there was a "clog in the system" and we would need an $800-plus repair. So we said no thank you. Then afterwards I got an email with a form saying I turned down a repair with "labor of $230.95." No details as to what that entailed. Left wondering what really was wrong with the refrigerator. We have since ordered a new one. Add to that there is no way to talk to anyone on the phone and I am not happy with this experience. read more

I scheduled an appointment and it was from 8-12. The day of the appointment I was given 1-5. I didn't care about this issue but the service person showed up at 7:30 pm and didn't give a written estimate. I was quoted a repair that cost 649 dollars and I paid 549 dollars for the dryer two years ago. I will never use Sears repair service again. If you want speedy service and proper repairs avoid Sears. This is not the Sears of old. 6 weeks to get a tech to make the repair and it was misdiagnosed. My home warranty company would not approve because there was a dead mouse. The mouse caused no damage and was not the cause Had an appointment on June 10 and no one showed up or called. Turns out my tech was off work sick for 10 days and no one re-scheduled his work. Sears is very hard to reach by phone unless you want to buy something. No response on the internet. Very unhappy with them. I suggest you call a local company with ties to the community. read more

I am only leaving four stars because the repairman (Rubin) was absolutely wonderful! HOWEVER their automated service to set up, change or cancel appointments is absolutely terrible. I made an appointment for between 1 PM and 5 PM. Never got a text to acknowledge it. I did get an email though. But no updates. So I would check my email and they kept pushing the time that they were going to be there to 6 PM, then 7 PM, then 8 PM. So I canceled my appointment and rescheduled for two days later from 8 AM to 12 PM. Then I got an email saying I couldn't cancel my appointment because it was too late. Then somehow they had me scheduled for, the day after instead of two days after. Finally someone actually called me on the phone to say that my repair man who they thought was to come the day after wouldn't be coming at all. I explained that I had appointment for two days after. Finally heard from the repairman on the day I had rescheduled. Then I heard from another repair man who was apparently coming on the same day. What the heck? So two guys showed up at the same time. And now I am still getting emails and texts from Sears saying that my appointment was canceled. Horrible horrible system. Thank goodness my dryer is now fixed and like I said Rubin was wonderful He even anticipated with the issue was going to be and came with the part in his pocket! Repair person came to fix my dryer. Said my vent was clogged and they don't clear vents. Charged my card for less than 5 minutes of work and incorrect diagnostics. After he left, we cleaned the already clean vent and reinstalled it. The dryer still does not work, not surprisingly. I am looking for another repair company. Wholly dissatisfied with the cost for diagnostics when they were not correct. read more

Negative stars. Absolute trash. My washer broke in September and we have been rescheduled for service 5 times. Thats 5 missed days of work waiting for them to come back. First guy came and ripped the washer all apart and left parts all over the basement. And that's how it sits today. Pay 275 dollars in a contract to fix or replace a unit, but they blow you off for months. I have no faith in getting this washer repaired or replaced and now looking at having to purchase a new one. They need to be completely put out of business. At this point I would just take a reimbursement for the contract price because I don't even want these garbage techs and garbage phone reps at my house. read more

Unit work before Sears Service came-then after that and 4 more service calls the unit would not even start. Finally called GE service and they came out once to see what parts were needed-a second time to install the parts and get the unit running. unit still sounds bad but I am going to pay for another GE service call. on top on that Sears cannot even keep the appointments correct-the have it scheduled for today but I doubt anyone will come. read more

The service person nice. But, Sears repair service quote was outrageously expensive at $650. The part to repair my refrigerator cost less than $50. I brought my refrigerator from sears less than 2 years ago for $599.00. I had promo code for a discount. If I invest over $500 in an appliance I expect it to function for more than 1 year. Sears.com and disposable appliances that have only one year of manufacturer warranty. Did I mention made in Mexico? I'm a single mom that can't afford to replace a appliance that should have lasted 5 years. read more
