None of the girls know what they are doing. They are either goofing off, ignoring new customers due to frustration, and/or vividly showing annoyance/irritation with their customers. Orders take 30 minutes- for a bagel? note: I don't think it is appropriate to bash your customers with your coworkers at the counter. Learn to whisper or wait until after your shift. We have frequented Mr. Bagel Meister lots over the past couple months. The guys at the window (all 3 I've come in contact with) are warm, funny and really sweet. Their bagels are the real deal, and my daughter lives for their crispy French fries. They have a great thing going and I'm happy to have them. The only thing that would really make me even happier would be if they stayed open till 4:00 so my kids could get after school bagels. I'll bet a lot of kids would appreciate that. Oh, and sprouts. I love sprouts on my bagel. Maybe it's a California thing but a big pile of sprouts on an everything bagel with herb cream cheese is heavenly! read more

It's VERY good! So good that my husband thinks bagels all the time. We moved from NY, so we know bagels, especially an egg sandwich, we have tried many places in town and never felt they were "the one", always something missing. Well this place is "THE ONE" we will keep coming back until we go visit home. I had a jalapeño bagel with egg, Swiss and bacon...it was perfect. My husband had an everything with egg, Turkey and swiss, it didn't last long he ate it in seconds. Coffee was very good too. We also bought a dozen to go and they are almost done, well we shared with neighbors. The prices are good, 2 sandwiches and 2 large coffees for $14.00 A dozen bagels for $13.00 awesome deal. It's family owned and operated, you can see the family cooking and taking orders, fascinating. The only thingwwe didn't like was the girls at register are not the most friendly people, we get it they must have gone out the night before, still we deserved a smile. Updated review: I knocked off a star for two reasons. All sandwiches come with french fries, so even though I didn't want fries I still had to pay for them. I won't be getting a sandwich again because of that. Also, those wonderful donuts mentioned below sit out on a tray on the counter by the register where people order their food. It's kind of off-putting to have people talking onto food you want to eat. (Remember "say it, don't spray it"?) The donuts should be behind the counter or in a case. The bagels on a return visit seemed different than the first time, like puffy kaiser rolls with a hole in them. Definitely not boiled like authentic bagels. Original review: It may be called Mr Bagel Meister but the square cake donuts here are incredible. They are perfectly crispy and crunchy for you cake donut fans, some of the best I have ever tasted. It's well worth a detour. The bagels have a great chewy crust. To my taste they could be baked a bit more. Will definitely go back for them too. Friendly service. read more

Excellent selections - including vegan and egg options. The "sunflower everything" bagel was incredible. Loved the option of drive thru but had to knock a star off the rating because it was a confusing setup and became quite a cluster when cars started backing up after ordering. Would have helped if there was a designated area in parking lot to wait. My daughter, visiting from NJ (a harder sell because she has several favorite bagel shops in her hometown), absolutely loved this place and rated it better than any back home. Based on the positive reviews, I'll have to give Seaside Bagels another try. The pumpernickel bagel was good and as a matter of fact, had I just gotten the bagel I would have given this review 3 stars instead of two. I am a vegan and have been following facebook reviews which all give this place a double thumbs-up. Meh. My food was blazé to put it mildly. I ordered the Thelma and Louise Bagel Sandwich which supposedly came with caramelized onions. (So throwing raw onions on a grill for a couple of minutes is not the same thing as caramelized onions). The sandwich was dry as a bone and the veggies were cut up too small so they constantly fell out when I tried to eat it. The staff is super friendly and the place is clean. I'll try SB one more time and update this review if my food is better. read more

This has got to be one of the best deli style sandwiches I've ever eaten! This place is great! I love coming here in the morning before school because the employees are friendly, the service is quick and their bagels are delicious! I usually get a ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel -- toasted. One thing that I'm not crazy about is how long they toast it. It tastes a little burned sometimes so that takes away from the flavor of the bagel. Other than that, their meat is delicious (Boar's Head), and their cheeses all taste very good. You can definitely stop here in the mornings and grab a yummy bagel and coffee!! I recommend it!! read more

I'm a huge fan of bagels and love bagel sandwiches even more. It's a small little place but great selection. I ordered the Cesar and my boyfriend ordered the pleasure island sandwich which came with fries. The Cesar was pretty good a bit much on the cheese but it was still pretty good. My boyfriends sandwich was pretty dry and he ordered it without the sauce and he ended up getting sauce. So the fact it had sauce and was still dry wasn't too good. I read a previous review here and the customer ordered without cheese and got cheese so it was kinda got me feeling a type of way to know it happened it someone else. Don't get me wrong I understand people make mistakes but they weren't busy we were the only ones there so to me there shouldn't have been any mistakes. The fries were pretty good for a bagel joint. Other then the sandwich everything else would pretty good. I would give this place another try when I get the chance. read more

Great fresh bagels by the beach! Especially the Asiago. I got a half dozen assorted bagels, cream cheese, a coffee, and an egg and cheese bagel. Loved that the egg was real and not one of those frozen egg patties. -1 Star because my breakfast sandwich was made on the wrong bagel, which I didn't realize til I was back at the condo (everything instead of the pumpernickel I ordered) and the drip coffee was acceptable but not especially great tasting. Went here on the weekend, and it was a little out of control. They had to ask me what I ordered several times and it took 15+ minutes longer for my food to come out while my friends already had theirs. I know they're new, but I haven't been back because of the first experience I had. Hoping with a few more weekends under their belt they will have it figured out.
